  2. It takes about 30 seconds for it to load the first time, due to limited bandwidth and the lack of proper hosting... Ah, thank you for clarifying that.

The Ruthern castle in the part of Oren west of dwarf the dwarves is incorrectly placed. Rytsburg is at that location, The Ruthern castle is in the far south east corner of the territory.

  5. Oh great, this forum account is so old that I didn't have my Minecraft Username entered, so no VIP rank was given.

If you have one on the server (VIP rank that is) you could easily ask for an FM or a GM to change your rank. We might even have a rank changing thread somewhere, but I have no idea where it is...

  6. Write up for Eastern culture done! Link:

  7. [If you're interested in playing an eastern character, and would like to help set up a settlement, please send me a message.] Other Relevant Resources: [Note: There are various interchangeable terms whose usage varies between texts, i.e. a foreigner may use 'Distor', whilst a Shí loyalist may use 'Shíguó'. This is to emphasis the writer's perspective as well as the 'intended audience'. Distor is heavily influenced by Middle China, between the Qin and Han dynasties (considered the founding dynasties of China). Some documents may be considered outdated and contain information that may be perceived as being questionable. This is to ensure that these documents are not too rigid, for other contributors.] Distorian and Eastern Culture A Brief History of Distor, by Oū Ruònéng Tàishǐ, 1187 Wǔyuán - The Five Principles, Qiū Chóngyáng Sēng, 1203 Etymology of Distor, Erictheus Taitale, 1437 The Book of Shí I - Fashion and Culture, Yíng Zhēng, 1569 [If you wish to have a document added to this list, please message me a link, all contributions to the Eastern culture are welcome. Thank you.]

  9. Oh that's a driver bug you have from the latest OS update. You've got to go to 'This PC' on 'File Explorer', right click on the drive that says 'OS', and then click 'format'. That should fix it on Windows. On a Mac, you've got to open 'Finder', launch 'disk utility' from /applications/utilities and then click on your largest drive, and then click on erase at the top. These should cause your computer to have a 'forced update' and you should be able to use the map. Edit: Oh crap, I didn't realise this had been an actual bug this entire time! I've fixed it now, sorry.
  10. Click on the link, scroll and clicking allows you to zoom, and dragging allows you to pan. It doesn't have touch support yet. http://axios.droppages.com/
  11. Relevant Resources: The Isles of Axios ~ Map As our battered ships ventured through the portal, leaving behind Apohet's annihilation, we laid eyes upon yet again unfamiliar territory. These were the Isles of Axios. Cartographers were quick to busy themselves with mapping the islands, and you were lucky enough to see one distributing their latest map. http://axios.droppages.com/index.html <- Interactive version, takes 20 seconds to load for the first time due to hosting. Upon further inspection, you notice that it is a portolan chart with converging rhumb lines. At the bottom right corner there is a compass rose surrounded by creatures, resembling animal spirits of some far eastern culture. [The map itself is RP valid, it is recommended that RP sketches be done based on this map] Backup Version (non-interactive, low-res): Disclaimer: Accuracy of the product may vary, its content is subject to change. Does not offer features such as co-ordinate tracking and player listings. The interactive version allows you to easily zoom and pan, I'll be adding layers in after the nations have further progressed. Edit: 'beta' testing layers. Please report any issues! http://axios.droppages.com/beta.html Please do message or reply if amendments need to be made, or perhaps you have a suggestion in mind. Change log:
