  1. If it seemed like slander I am sorry it wasn't meant to I was just questioning how this island came to be. I will surely get a summer home (If I could) there it looks like a great place to stay.
  2. But what about spreading out the player base this is a issue we see a lot these days and I haven't seen it be brought up here, so that is why I am bringing it up.
  3. No I mean ICly not OOCly. Since the settlement was just created and already a nation it didn't go from a village or a town. It never grew but just popped up it seems.
  4. Uhm this popped out of nowhere, I don't want to say it is a bad idea. It literally is the first I have heard of this and it just appears with no real rp reasoning. People also complain how wide-spread the player base is and now...
  5. Well, finally it is about time, Gaius. You really deserve it especially with the fantastic role-play experiences you have created with the subudai. It is simply mouth-watering and I wish you the best of luck in your ventures. I hope you...
  6. 7/10 Very random indeed *ponders*
  7. `Yup where the general public votes is almost always a popularity contest.
  8. On this thread you can find the application form on the first page
  9. I wish to say you just copy and pasted your bio from your app
  10. 6/10 Seen you once, on this thread.
  11. 8/10 Met you that one time in-game and got into a fight :D
  12. 7/10 Have found you twice in Salvus :D also awesome sloth person
  13. Yes but even if it will not be a ghost town if it is generic then what point is there to it other than you wanting land and power. Go join some nation instead if you want power and if you role=play well you will get a high position trust me. Also your political system seems designed more for a city than a village since there are a lot of different positions.
  14. So we could just have a portal in let's say cloud temple that brings you there?
  15. Sorry it has been a long and tiring day I am changing the name. I forgot that it was orcish.
  16. The Tale of a man by the name of Bjorn Bjorn was born in the small settlement far outside of the borders of Asulon. A place not even mapped by the monk charterers. It takes a lot for a group of people as stubborn as the Aga 'Nai to abandon their homes in search for whatever they could find. Their wells run dry, their plains empty without any animal life. Many people knew this trip would be their last but there was no choice. In this case a journey taking months of travel through the rocky mountains of Bangeria, the canyons of Icyando, and the frozen tundras of Iglacias. This was of course not without any sacrifices. Starvation made people drop like flies in Iglacias, droughts made people frightened that the only way to survive would be through gaining the moisture from their own fecal matter, and the mountains made people tumble down as if they were pebbles. The thought of even finding any settlement grew so thin that to believe in that they will make it would be to believe that a piece of string can hold up a bolder the weight of three stallions. It seemed like all just a dream, nothing but a mirage. They met what seemed to be a green violent animal with tusks; they called them Ig 'Nak which meant green beans. After this meeting they were frightened to death that they would meet more of these “creatures” until one day he said to the campaign “We are nords we do not cower in fear we must be able to sneak past them into the abyss of this oh so huge and intricate world. They covered themselves with mud and walked along the river banks of the typhoon river as it curls from left to right like a godly snake. The nords believed that in the creation era of this world there were enormous omnipotent snakes crawling around the earth but after them destroying everything in it’s path. Cyning the god of all, decided that he should change the snake’s into something else. The moment after this was called the destruction period. He turned the snakes into mountains of lava and as gravity took in, it consumed the world leaving nothing but black ashes on this planet for the next few generations. Many years later cyning saw that the deed had been done and that this planet was free of the disease known as man. He turned the snakes into rivers and they made the soil fertile. He turned the rodents into huge mammoths and cunning sabertooths. Finally he made man. He did not know if this was the right descision but there was no problem with trying since if they did not become the great and powerful empire that they were created to be. He would could start from scratch once again killing, every, single thing in its path... So the Aga 'Nai continued down the banks of the river and after following it for a week they had arrived at their destination. A land ruled by the peaceful monks that helped the people of this world to survive. They came in hungry and dying of disease. The monks had noticed this and they were taken straight to the rooms in the cloud temple. They were bathed, fed and healed over the coming days until they were in better status than when they had left their homes. The noords became more and more familiar with the new lands. The way the language has spoken, the way to behave, and the way to meet new people. After years of living in the area they called Sanctaria, they found out that there were quite some noords living in this world. That they had very similar traditions and very familiar ways of behaving. It was now Bjorn’s goal in order to advance in these lands and create a settlement. This settlement will now be known as the “Settlement of Aertharia” he proclaimed into the giant void that is the sky. And so he begin’s his journey into realising this idea and building a settlement and then from those pillars once they are strong. They would build the building that will be one day told about in fables as the Empire of Aertharia. ((Leave any feedback here, and if you are good in writing lore and wish to expand on the nordic culture then we will gladly take on-board more lore writers))
  17. *Posters are nailed to wooden posts in the taverns of most nations except in Menocress and the High Elven city* A new settlement by the name of Aertharia is soon to take shape the only problem is we need more help with writing down and recording our history. Our previous scribe has left us and he has taken with him all of his work. Me by myself can get the history down but it will be slow and tedious since I am merely but one man and am not the best of writers if I do say so myself. This is why we want to form a team of scribes that will help is the on-going discovery of ancient nordic history and the tales as well as fables that our children shall be read to as bed time stories. Please send a bird back to me if you would feel that you would want to help shape this settlement that wishes to bring back nordic heritage. ((Post a post on this thread as if it was you sending me a bird)) *attached is a charter with more information about the settlement* ((http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/48763-the-settlement-of-aertharia/))
  18. I don't see what is wrong with going for a town right away but this just seems like another future ghost town.
  19. What your wiki name will be (case sensitive): Daniel Why are you trustworthy?: Role-play is of course the thing that brought me and most people here. I enjoy how the wiki can expand on this role-play if everyone knows more about the lore. I do not wish to disrupt this and will work to my fullest in order to help maintain the wiki and provide a source of education and something fun to read for the people that view the wiki.
