I think it's just a trend - like those creepy dolls in the eighties which each had registered names and personalities (Most of you probably weren't born then but if you were you might know what I'm talking about). To be cool as an orc you need to have a 'cub', it would seem. Yes, I personally find it a bit wierd but it'll get old soon. What I don't enjoy about people roleplaying as children is that even if he rolled a twenty and I rolled a one how can an eight year old beat a seasoned veteran in swordplay?

I'm sure he does have that right, and I mean no disrespect to Vaq here (as he's amazing) but in this matter I don't believe he should have special treatment. I take these things on a case by case basis. If Vaq or another admin makes a post with swearing in it, especially one placed on the front page of the website, I'm going to assume that in this instance it doesn't matter what kind of language I use as long as it's not completely ridiculous/just unnecessary. An f-bomb is not really too drastic.

Vaq, you're an absolutely fantastic coder and a genius, but in my opinion the skills system was not at all one of your better ideas. It's grindy and damages roleplay, an idea good in theory but not in practise - but hopefully the new credit system may help this.

Why not have one different offensive spell, one different healing spell, and one different utility spell for each race instead of the system illustrated on the wiki? No offense, but some of the elf, dwarf, and orc spells pale in comparison to the human spells. "Strengthening one's resolve in battle" compared to lightning bolt? "Strengthening one's resistance to damage" compared to lightning bolt? Humans can make a portal and shoot magic ice and lightning bolts from their fingertips. Orcs can do a few dances to fortify themselves and others. Elves can make a few trees grow and trap somebody. Dwarves can enchant some weapons. The elf, dwarf and orc spells need something offensive.
