Name: Elsiimah (The Tower) Truename ((MCName)): ((siwasb)) Origin: I was born and raised in the outskirts of Laurelin. To be honest, I don't remember particularly much of it. When Aegis fell to the undead, I lost my family in the chaos (note that they were all pure-blooded high elves). I doubt they made it to the dock in time, but I do not know certainly, for I wasn't on the elven ship (I accidentally ended up on the orc "ship" instead. It was horrible!). In Asulon, I built a small shack in the outskirts of Malinor. It was only recently I found out about Haelun'or from a (quite bothersome, to say the least) visiting druid. How can you declare you are Mali'thill: I can't say I have any solid proof of my pure blood, but I have typical high-elven traits such as pale skin, silver hair and green eyes. Why do you wish to become a citizen of Haelun'or: I long to see and speak with my own kind again. Actually, I can't remember meeting a high elf since Aegis. Also, I am interested in learning about our great heritage. (And I can't wait to visit the college library!) What is your personal vision for our blessed race: I believe it would be a good idea to locate other lost high elves. I know exactly how painful it can feel for one of our kind to be forced associating with lesser other races. What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you: I would say it represents two aspects of life, learning and health, which we need to continue to thrive as a race. What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: Maehr'sae (progress), which I think is utterly important for us - both personally and as a society. What is the subject of the first book you will submit to the college: I don't know. A book on how others should treat our noble race, perhaps? I will probably spend some time reading books before I start writing anyhow. What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the roads from Alras together: I would be very disgusted with the high elf, especially for being with an orc(!). My first reaction would probably be to question the elf's purity. What home would you like to receive: (if left blank you will be granted one of the free residences, if one is availible). I'd prefer a small tower, but I can only pay in gemstones, not minas. If that doesn't work a small hall will be just fine aswell. What type of magical sensitivities do you have: I know a sum' stuff about potions, fo' example w'at effect different ingredients have. I still need to learn myself da basics thou', as I have missed much in my own studies. Describe your magical background. I've been interested in herblore'n potionmaking since I was a cubbie. I found mixin' different ingredients, an' seein' w'ud da result be, excitin'n fun. It also thrilled me that alchemy often was used by shamans an' otha' magic-usa's. Anotha' thing I found interestin' in my youth was tradin'. That path sadly became da one I chose tha walk. Eventually my passion fo' da "mixin'" was lost among buisness-offa's an' greed. Many years lata', on anotha' continent, I bought a store in Hanseti fo' my beloved clan. I settled down dere. I bought w'at my clan needed an' sold w'ud dey didn't need. It thought t'was borin'. But one day, a travella' I happened tha come across sold me a strange elixir. I immediately started experimentin' wid it. W'ud wud happen if I did this, w'ud wud happen if I did that? His family was eventually banished and abandoned by the tribe after his father was accursed for oath-breaking. The family started searching for a new home, but everything they found was a sandy wasteland. They set up a little camp and fell asleep. After a few hours, Matthew suddenly woke up. A group of thieves had slain his parents and were searching through the tents. Matthew decided to attempt to run away and the bandits lost him in the desert. He was found by an exile called Haeg Morrisane. With time, Haeg teached Matthew how to read, write and other essential things. Matthew grew very close with Haeg and regarded him as a father. Matthew also decided to use Haeg's last name, Morrisane. After 10 years of hard work and studying Matthew was a educated man. He was very good with the bow, but not so good with the sword. Matthew was now 19 years old. One day when Matthew came back from hunting he found Haeg lying on the floor, dead. He ran out of the house and saw some desert bandits riding away from the location. Matthew understood at once and went after them in rage. With his new archery skills, he managed to wound a few of them. He left them dying in the desert sand. However, two bandits got away. "What have I done to deserve all this!??" he screamed to the dusty sky and threw himself into the sand. When he woke up he was in the middle of a storm. Blinded and depressed, he started walking forward, slowly. The storm lasted for months. Matthew managed to build a shelter and survived against all expectations. After 7 and a half month, the storm finally ended. During that time Matthew mostly read books and recovered from his loss. He started travelling between villages and succeeded to exit the desert. Another 10 years elapsed with Matthew adventuring and one day, at the age of 29, he saw a great temple in the distance. -Character Age: 29 -Character Appearance: He is of normal length and has brown hair. He is dressed in tattered traveling clothes he got a long time ago. -Character Personality: Matthew is a very determined person who likes challenges. He is pretty strong and has his own different design taste, so yes. -Can you wield a sword?: Very well, he has been trained in combat since he was 14. Very few mortals can defeat him in a straight-up duel. A weakness Carsaib has is that he often forgets to be cautious when fighting. He has many minor wounds. -Enjoy Farming?: Since Carsaib was grown up in the desert he doesn't know much about nature except how to find water.
