  1. ((I like the idea. We could certainly use a defined system of assignments))
  2. ((Might not be on today. Allergies are getting bad and I feel terrible. If I start feeling better, ill log on. Sorry.))
  3. ((Yeah, I cannot attend 10 PM PST Either))
  4. ((Ill be on in around an hour... not at home atm))
  5. Very well, it sounds quite interesting.
  6. If you can manage to end this dispute between us... I would work with her. I do not wish to see holm fall, and I cannot imagine a scenario where Syrila's lone rule does not lead to that.
  7. I see. I have another plan for the guards in reserve. I shall send it to you as soon as I have revised it. ((Not home atm... can't type it up on my phone))
  8. I had meant to allow you each to develop your own plans, but if you wish to simply follow one, that can be arranged.
  9. With different people, I would agree. I simply do not believe that Syrila and I would very easily get along...
  10. I am a planner, not an architect. I make the plans, and set them in motion. I took my absense in order to lead more effectively, because in doing so I would leave the past behind me. Holm is built on MY actions, on MY plans. To remove my guidance in the city will cause it all to come crashing down. I have the support of the military. I have the support of the guards. I have the support of the Spectres. And these are only my allies within the city. Who inside of the city supports Syrilla? A fisherman?
  11. *Relgard points to the large stack of plans posted on the notice board, specifically the one detailing his plan for Holm*
  12. If Duncan follows your wishes, why did he vote for me? And I need no drawings, simply look around Holm, the plans you see there are proof enough of my ability to lead Holm forward. I've been present back in Holm for nearly two elven weeks. In fact, it seems that you were the one absent.
  13. Shall the vote be open only to current residents? Thus far it is 3 to 3... interesting, no? Hopefully we will see it move up to 6 to 3 soon, considering my other followers within the city... And if Syrila does take power, how long will she last, considering the military would not even respect her rule? Holm as we know it was brought back by me, not her. You may support her, hiebe, but the rest of us do not. To introduce her to the nation will do nothing more than split it apart, and bring about its' downfall. And those are simply my closer ones. Actually, as for the third, do you even own a home in Holm?
  14. ((Accidental double... derpy phone, sorry))
  15. Then how come she and duncan were with me in my travels. She is back. I believe hiebe played a part in that, duncan told me so, at least.
  16. Grimes was angered towards Holm until I brought him back, I am fairly certain he supports me. Duncan has also told me that I have Abreal's support. I single handedly revived Holm, and set it on a better course.and yes, I was absent for a time. I wished to finish some loose ends, and knew that the city would be able to maintain my plan under your guidance. I have the military's support, that alone would secure the throne. But I've even managed to gain the support of Holm's citizens. You may support syrila, but Holm supports me.
  17. Duncan is the obly spectre of the three. If Holm is a nation of the Spectres, then what good would come of a leader who is not the spymaster? What good would come of a leader who is an enemy of the Spectres? The ravens asked me for assistance against barias, and I gave it to them, to which I was betrayed. Now with no personal connections like such, the Spectres are content to stay to ourselves. As are the other people of Holm. We do not wish to be ruled by an outsider.
  18. I assume that this book is the one I have written on the Dark Brotherhood? It is hardly incriminating... As for the other claims. I never threatened a child, the people of Holm know me, and know that I would not. Your efforts here are wasted. thus far, every single person from Holm who has voted, has voted in my favor. As I have said before, I attacked barias because the ravens believed he was corrupted by majora, and after seeing her powers... I thought so myself. That was before the ravens betrayed me. All you say is that I will lead this nation to ruin, yet the past and my time as Steward, has shown the exact opposite. Almost the entirety of how this nation is today is like this because of my work or planning. The people know what I have done, and will do, for the city. Apparently they are pleased. They do not know what will happen under the rule of an outsider. You have your promises, but I have had my results.
  19. So, does Syrila see that Holm does not seek her leadership? Shall this squabble come to a conclusion now, so that I may further implement my plans for the growth and prosperity of the nation?
  20. As for the vote, Duncan Amell, Karlio, and Nurrak have already cast their votes in favor of myself. No citizens have voted in favor of the outsider. Apparently, Holm does not wish to open up its' self up to these outsider, despite their loaded words. The plan I have set in motion for Holm is the plan favored by Holm. You say you will not allow this place to be controlled by me, yet it is I who Holm favors. You may be able to bring us alliance with the west, but I am able to bring us alliance with our elven neighbors. To make myself king would not put Holm on a new path; it would allow us to continue the path to prosperity that I put us on with my "Holm Renovation Project" that I created years ago.
  21. (( hate to double post, but I don't feel like I can just add this to the other)) Then how come it was myself who brought so many of them here in the first place? People call me warhungry, but which of us is the one who almost destroyed an entire city over a personal matter? ((As for hiebes plan, ill post my version sometime tomorrow. I'm off to bed for the night.)) I know you brought some but all who stayed? I love the people who are here but they are friends of you from another life. What of newer people like Luke the builder and a few shp keepers
  22. The voting will only be for the current citizens, correct?
  23. I do not throw away life for my own goals. As I have stated before, such matters are personal and will be dealth with by myself and the few who would volunteer to assist me. I betray the corrupted, and fight the tainted. That has always remained true, even when the Ravens tricked me. I already have the support of the guard captain, and I cannot fathom how I would not have that of our general. If given kingship, I would use my power to finish my plans for her, I will finish the plans that turned Holm from a deserted island to a bustling nation.
  24. When I had left and posted the message of it, I had intended to divide my time evenly, I had not seen what was going to happen. When emberhard approached me, I had not forseen their betrayal. That matter brought an end to the last of my "loose ends". There are no longer any things that could divert me from my plans. It is better that I settled my past as steward rather than doing it as king.
  25. You say the city has no plan, are you oblivious to the fact that we do, in fact, have a very detailed one? Just look on our notice board! The only thing you bring to this nation that I cannot is alliances with Alras and such. I admit that. But does Holm truly want to simply become a puppet for them? The nations of the north-east are content to remain with themselves. I do not think we should put ourselves, and our neighbors, under the eye of the rest of the world's scrutiny. Tell me Holm, do you want a puppet of the west in the throne, or a man who thinks for his nation? As for what Hiebe has said, I am vengeful, I admit. But I do not bring Holm in on such things. Nor would I wish to do so if I become king. I do not seek violence for the sake of violence.
