Im looking forward to the battle, my issue is that Hiebe's not even talking to us OOCly before helping plan an attack OOCly.

UPDATE - Buildings have been cleared, and some posts have been marked. Construction on the first manor is underway. When it is completed, use it as a template for the other six.

To be honest, though, I don't really think it would be needed. Right now Im just trying to get "Who owns what" sorted out before I destroy everything that's currently empty. A fort would be good, but I'd prefer one made specifically for Holm rather than copy a different design. Honestly, once I get a bunch of stuff sorted out, Like locks and who-owns-what, I think all we'd need is a sub-region wipe, so I could actually have permissions in the region by the farm/church. I'd be able to demolish most of the buildings in less than a day, and in a full day could probably setup new roads and section-borders. And past that, I really don't see why you went and helped the Pirates plan an attack, because, honestly, I don't feel that Holm is ready for a fight yet. Our military consists of about 3 People, and while all of us could take up arms, we're not ready for combat. I'm not building Holm for the sole purpose of giving you something to fight in events.

I agree. A while ago I sent you a map with my idea for plans, and it would involve razing of one section at a time in order to rebuild while maintaining areas for use.

((Alright, so why would an Island nation NOT want a navy? I've wanted one for Holm for a while, but my largest reason was to gain Hikaru's support for the town. A desert town building a navy after people OOCly talk of pirates is Meta. And island nation making a navy is just common sense. To add to that, Relgard has known about the pirate base for a while now. He does not know of it's current inhabitants, but still wishes to remain safe))

Also, Hiebe, could you speak to the guards about the organization of the keep? Perhaps develop a plan for what it will contain and where?

Just remember, they may or may not be part of the axis. They simply attack a group that has already helped defend a nation being attacked by the Axis. Axis or not, Andromeda must be stopped.

Try to get their RP-Names instead of MC names. Works better for RP.

Ha. Well, in hindsight, you guys were pretty much rel's only "major" success. That stuff is fun, yeah, and I'm glad I was making the RP fun for the other side, but it feels like I go through all of the sacrifice for nothing. It feels like I can either log on and slave away at a pointless cause or not log in at all. EDIT: And to Eledyr, you're probably right. Maybe once I've gone a few days to cool down I'll try that, but I just hate to make a new character with so many things left undone.

After the recent battle between Renatus and Hanseti, I'm considering leaving the server. I'm already likely going to be off for a couple days, and if I decide to come back, I will likely start a new character. Killing off rel or just making him go away temp is yet to be decided. In this case, I'll send the rest of my detailed Holm plans to Hiebe, If I come back, then I come back. My reasons are simply because things are beginning to feel like a chore. The battle I fought in earlier (on Renatus' side, because honestly I can't stand Hanseti IC or OOC) just reminded me how almost everything "big" or "important" I build or start building just ends up being taken. Not to mention all of the items I lost in the battle. Past that, I've been bored out of my mind lately because I feel obligated to log in as much as I can, lest I miss something going on in Holm. I've logged hours this weekend alone just trying to finish things simply because I feared they wouldn't be done if I didn't do them or oversee them personally. This has been true for both Holm and the Spectres, back when I was serious about running them. I hate being a leader. Maybe my ambitions were just too high, maybe I'm just not a good RP'er. I don't know. I had to post this to give you guys some closure. Goodbye guys, I'll miss you. *A new notice has been posted* After some decisions, the location and style for the Overholm Housing district has been decided. This district will function as an area reserved for Holm's leaders or wealthiest. In turn, these houses must be beautiful and spacious. Status: (Will strike out upon completion) 1: Razing of the area's structures. - First we must contact the owners of each building here, and give them proper warning. Once they have retrieved their items and removed their locks, the buildings can be razed. The road should also be removed. 2: Building of Homes. - I've drawn a map that will allow for seven houses and a watchtower. I will send a copy to Hiebe and those who wish for one, also. - House Requirements: Three full-sized levels, a Basement, and then a storage area below the basement. Homes must be pleasant to the eye and cannot be boxes. The already-existing 11K house could be used an inspiration. Remember, these are homes for the rich or esteemed. 3: The Watchtower - At the edge of the peninsula is a prime spot for a watchtower. Make sure it looks decent and is large enough to be used comfortably. 4: Path-making. - Once the houses and tower are complete, the current path should be remade to suit the new arrangement. The road should be similar to the current roads. Once the district is complete, we can use the homes for group-housing until the underholm housing areas are completed. I'm preparing to map out the surface of the island to better show my plans. I think it would be easier if we worked from the overholm housing-district and went counter-clockwise around the keep. Thus, our first project shall be the housing district. Expect a new, more detailed notice ((topic)) soon.
