    I love it when people pass my boat on their way too and from the elven lands. my boat is named ~The Last Nova Cast~ but I often find people who are lost and hungry on the open waters so I invite them aboard, after deducting they aren't pirates, and into my little captains quarters where it acts more like an inn for the weary. I call it... ~The Reel Inn~ (easter egg) its like a fishing boat but instead of catching fish, i catch tired sailors. in all. I prefer to not have fast travel boats. most all of the docks and even land, near the cloud temple/elven starting camp, allow you to place your boat in the water. I use the those docks to get to my boat.

    I say go ahead and be a scientist if you wish. There has to be a harmony between your discoveries and the magical realm that is LotC I would think

    *Dash Rogers watches the curious orc. From a far, he sees the big oaf think for a moment, then he takes something out of a sack which looks like a bird, but is clearly fake. Dash sees the orc write something on it, then toss it into the air off os his two hands put together as if it was a bird perched there and released to fly. His strength gives the object a lot of air but soon enough it just plops down o the ground not far from the scene. The orc then goes around to each of the blatantly obvious traps and throws 3-8 grass blades on them.*

    Yea, you could say matter exists as cells and go on about it, but then everyone else would be like, you just described magic in the weirdest way.

    In LotC, gods and all powerful beings actually exist physically and everyone believes in their existence, power and have powers of our own. (not to say that they don't in real life, I'm not trying to flame) Our science is based on redstone which some argue is also just another form of magic. I don't think the belief of science fits in this universe.
