Kamaas, 5 of the Snow Maiden, Year 54 Dom approaches the edge of pink fog, a pig in a leather airtight body suit with a breathing mask being led by a rope. Stopping, Dom pulls a bundle of wheat from his pack at tosses it into fog. slowly the pig wanders after the wheat. After a few moments the pig begins to squeal loudly as if in pain. Dom the begins pulling hard on the rope. as the pig emerges from the dog Dom sees that it is dead. He removes the mask and notices the plagued and infected corpse. Returning to his workshop, Dom opens up the breathing cylinder and removes the mechanism. Inspecting the mechanism and comparing it to the original he notices that several components were in the wrong places and that is why the mask didn't work. Ahad, 8 of the Snow Maiden, Year 54 Dom approaches the edge of pink fog again, a new pig in a new leather airtight body suit with a breathing mask being led by a rope. Stopping, Dom pulls a bundle of wheat from his pack at tosses it into fog. slowly the pig wanders after the wheat. Listening quietly, Dom hears the a sharp grinding noise and the cracking noise followed by the pigs squealing that ends abruptly. Pulling on the rope Dom pulls the dead body of the pig from the mist. Opening the cylinder Dom sees the ruined mechanism. Removing the mask Dom sets of to his workshop. Setting the mechanism on his desk. Inspecting the broken mess, Dom notices several cracked and broken gears. Comparing the broken gears to their original counter part he sees that some were too big and others were too small for the them to work and that caused the mechanism to break. Ahad, 15 of the Snow Maiden, Year 54 Yet again, Dom approaches the pink mist another unfortunate pig in a suit being pull along. Throwing another bundle of wheat into the mist Dom prays to the Gods that the breather works this time. The pig eagerly follows the wheat. After several moments without any squealing, Dom pulls the pig, out of the fog. Removing the suit, Dom inspects the pig and sees the signs of afflictions of the mist. Opening the mask open he sees that the mask appeared to have worked but didn't filter the mist. Kicking the pig corpse out of anger, He storms back to his workship. Sitting in his workshop drinking some ale, he is struck with the idea. If we can't filter the air we need to breath other air. Charging onto his ship, he throws a chest open in his cabit and pulls out an slightly worn diving helm. Ahad, 15 of the Snow Maiden, Year 54 Another pig in tow and the diving pump in hand, he approaches the edge of the mist. He sets down the pump and throws a bundle of wheat into the mist. He begins pumping fresh air through the tube into the suit. The pig walks into the mist for several minutes before Dom pulls him out. Removing the suit he sees that the pick is in perfect health. Setting the pig free Dom sets of to Kal' Anart to tell Skath to start help him to make this new breathing system.

One Gaius' request I am here to defend our lore. I will be defending the breathers. I will allow Skath to defend the armor. Lets start with this comment- "One cannot just hear about a concept and have it mastered for large scale reproduction in the span of a few months (a few says in RL). " I did not just here about the concept, I had both the suit and the TAC mask. You argue that we don't properly posses a suit. Well we have the TAC mask and thats what I used. I also had the manual that had diagrams on using the mask. Now I will adress this comment The reverse engineering process is rather underdeveloped. You were able to replicate and essentially dissecting my entire suit of armor that took decades to develop? I spent over 3 months enacting each step towards the suits completion, creating unique properties of our blacksmithing skills and extra technological tools that are necessary for the suits. Just becasue it took years to design a super awesome toaster doesn't mean I can't take it dissect it and replicate something very similar key word similar as the suits arn't exact. A poor example, but applicable. On the the next one- The technology level of the suits far exceeds the mindset of the majority of the people in Asulon. There are concepts about the suits that are incomprehensible to even its inventors- as I like to say "We are banging rocks together to see what happens- the notion that one could decipher every thing about our suits, know how each part works, understand the functionality of each part, visualize how they all work in unison and even smaller details like the language barrier or the fact that our brains are greatly different. I cannot walk over to the dwarf place and understand how their most advanced tech works just by popping it apart, and the same goes for my tech. My character is not the majoryity of people. He is an accomplished engineer. Also just because we replicated something does not mean we know how every bit of it works. I just made a copy. A good exaple is a college level one page essay. It may take me 2-3 hours to write and edit an 11th grade level essay. It would take me less than a third of that time to copy a college level essay. Now to address if we don't have a proper rp suit. We still have the TAC mask and have people who know the general purpose of the suits. We know that we need an airtight suit with a breather. Now as far as I know our suits are simple airtight sets of armor with breather. There are no robotics or tech and no magic stones that as far as I know are just to counter wieght.

*A dwarf runs up to Dom and hands him a letter. Quickly he reads the letter. Dom then pulls out a piece of paper and writes a quick letter it reads* I do not wish to put you incharge of one of my ships. You have not proved yourself to me to earn this lofty position. *Dom folds the letter and hands it to the dwarfs who runs off.*

Ahad, 34 of the Deep Cold, Year 54 Dom sits down at his desk inspecting the TAC mask. He then looks over to the armor and sees that the re-breather look very similar. Smiling to himself since he can work with just the TAC mask. Muttering to himself he says, "Tiome tu get tu wurk." Dom pops the clips on one of the filter tubes. Looking into the open tube and looks at the filters and the mechanisms inside. He begins by delicately turning the filters and pushing and pulling slightly till the filter pad pops out. Dom then repeats the process on the other filter pad. Dom quickly jots down a diagram of the filter pad and examines the actual material of filter and jots some notes next to the diagram. He then jots down a diagram of where the parts appear to be in the tube. Dom then slowly and methodical removes the mechanism in the tube. Setting the mechanism down he draws a careful and exact drawing of the mechanism. Taking a leather cap Dom attaches a pair of goggles to the helm. He then forms a face mask out of leather. He cuts two holes and attaches two metal cylinders to the holes of the mask that are close replicates of the ones from the original mask. Then Dom uses a slime based adhesive to attach and seal a new set of mechanisms and filters into the cylinders. Clamping the caps to the cylinders, he then sows the mask to the helm and goggles. Dom the adds some extra leather to make an airtight ring that goes around the neck. Finally Dom add some more sealing adhesive to all the seams of the new mask. Sighing Dom sits back and relaxes while he waits for the adhesive to dry.
