One thing that doesn't appear to have been considered with this whole idea. I've noticed that most of the ideas involve condensing everyone into a handful of cities. This is great for Roleplay, but it does have one big problem. Resources. With permissions as they currently are, resources like redstone, diamonds, gold, etc, etc is going to be a little harder to come by. VIPs will fill part of that need in the wilds, but without at least some method of renewing things, there is going to come a time when resources run low enough that the playerbase starts to notice and demand action.
And if when that happens, there isn't a plan in place, someone is going to go off half cocked and do something stupid like opening the wilds down to bedrock (Presumably on purpose this time).
So. Whats going to be done about resources? Regeneration was tried before, and didn't go so well.
