    Why do anime characters always have this extremely serious, yet entirely silly "thing" they do... Like this guy on Deathnote who dramatically takes a huge bite of choclate everytime he is in a scene T.T

      I don't think she's lying. It's perfectly possible for someone to never desire sex. Sure, it may be a mental disorder, but it's possible nonetheless. I've never seen her pursue any kind of romance or anything sexual, and she's always lept away at the first signs of a serious relationship. Before I thought she was just being shy, but it makes sense now..

      @Pillan If you look at hierarchies of needs, some state sex is a need, some state it is not. For instance, a person will not die without sex. Sure they'll become extremely depressed, socially awkward, and psychologically hindered, but they won't die.

      Hiebe, people don't need sex. In a repressive environment, girls can feel that sex is a bad thing and is shameful, so they have a preconcieved notion that they'll never do it.
