As a Bonsai Dryad player, I somewhat feel like an afterthought and brushed aside. Can you elaborate more on Bonsai Dryads? They are a big part of what drew me to the current iteration. I like the permanent childlike appearance particularly; it’s much more convenient than making a string of children characters for child RP and losing all character progression every two months or so. Everything seems to be there to make what could pass as an existing Bonsai Dryad, though a section or sub-section under appearance about “Small Dryads” or “Childlike Dryads” would help a ton when my character’s validity comes into question. Also, having confirmation that a Dryad that transforms into a childlike appearance will always look like a child would help as well. Additionally, the transformation process complicates bonding to an already existing bonsai tree. And without Druid intervention, you can’t ungrow the tree back into a bonsai afterwards.

Kefi sits in her home on the Winterleaf Isle, doing her best to look like she's meditating in her sun room. She can do little to hide the tears that drip from her closed eyes and down her cheeks. I am not in support of this. Druidism doesn't need any more "endgame". We already have shape-shifting and soul trees to pursue once you're fairly high in Druidism, shape-shifting being extremely fun and useful and soul trees making you time-immortal and tougher in combat. Not to mention with Soul Trees already making you immortal, this seems like little more than a power-up with fluff. Although time was clearly spent on this, I think it's not a good addition for Druidism. -1

Sleeping in a bed should restore energy faster. It'd give people an incentive to actually go inside and sleep at night and not stay up for days on end. :P

Although I don't participate in the server anymore, I would like to put in my two cents. You really don't need to apologize. Like others have said, I'd chalk it up to poor planning and communication. I played on here for about three years and I had a lot of fun over that time. I think the video should be released, though as long as it's made clear that this is a serious roleplay server. One of the main fears that I've seen over these events is your target audience, though I think that it'll have the same effect that applying to the server had on me; When I first applied, I barely knew anything about roleplaying and I couldn't come up with a good story to save my life. Once I got accepted, I found myself getting better at thinking up good stories and lifelike characters. Over time I got more creative and towards the end of my three years, I was able to make up decent characters on the spot. LotC is definitely great for learning writing and story-telling as well as fueling the imagination and the experience I had and the friends I've made stick with me even though I've moved on from the server. Even with your target audience, I think that if they took the application process seriously and really got into the server, they could have the same experience I did and I think that experience is worth sharing, even if it only happens to a handful of people. I really hope that the initial knee-jerk reaction didn't make too bad of an impression. Like everything else, we do have our vocal minority. Keep doing what you do and have fun on the server. :)

Having taken a look into this a bit more, I retract some of my previous statements on this matter. The applications (at least for magic) aren't that severe, however my point still stands as far as that this could've been handled better with a simpler system and the backpedaling on promises made not that long ago. (*Cough*) I apologize for my outburst.

I second this. I don't normally post around the forums anymore, but I'd like to throw my hat into the ring here, having been around since mid-Asulon and I have a story to tell, having danced with both MAs and VAs in the past. I'll spoiler this since it's REALLY long, with a TL;DR at the end. And now the shorter version for those of you who can't be asked to read a wall of text; I'm a very old player (Almost 3 years now.) and been through this whole song and dance before. And even with my Rose Tinted Goggles of Nostalgia, I still strongly believe that MAs and VAs are not the answer. OOC barriers like these will rip apart legitimate RP and make us descend back into the days of magic/villain cliques and elitism. I held a lot of MAs before, and I absolutely ******* loved the removal of them due to the stigma of the aforementioned elitism. We do not need this again. A simpler system would suffice. To get rid of the minor problems that there are now, the staff needs to use a scapel, not a ******* chainsaw. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Edit: Adding on quotes I strongly agree with here.

I'd recommend MCEdit if you can't find an up-to-date World Edit. It's right here. If you're not familiar with it, it may take a bit of work to get right. Just know that your schematics are saved to My Documents. (At least for me.)
