Known bugs:
When crafting an item, the energy meter which follows the inventory title will not update until you own a new folder, go to the previous folder, or reopen the inventory. However, the bar at the top of your screen still updates.

Tentative changes to the plugin are being discussed here:
https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/166040-planned-changes-for-energy-system/
Hey Lord of the Craft!
Today I am happy to announce that we have removed all craft timers. We will be trying out a new system:
Every persona has 1000 energy. While every craft is completed instantly, each action consumes energy -- with higher skilled personas using less energy on their respective crafts (half energy use at Aengullic). Once energy is used it will begin to recharge at 2 energy per minute. If your energy is fully deleted, after 8 hours and 20 minutes it will be fully regenerated. Humans will regenerate energy 15% faster. There are some other ways to regenerate energy which you may discover! Note: Each persona has its own energy value. When you are offline, it will regenerate, but only on your current persona! Repair timers have also been removed, now using energy instead! How do you know your energy? Three ways!
Whenever you open a crafting menu this meter will appear at the top of the inventory.
Through the /me Nexus-Craft settings, you can toggle it to be a numeric display instead of graphic - or completely disabled.
Further, when you are interacting with crafting stations - a boss bar will appear at the top of your screen indicating your energy level. This can also be toggled through the /me menu to appear always, never, or only when crafting, which is the default.
Finally, you can type /energy to give you a readout.
Sorry for the secrecy behind this update - but we wanted to assure nobody had an unfair advantage as these changes greatly affect the way our game is enjoyed.
We hope you like the changes! Let us know what you think.
With Love,
Kowaman | Game Development Team Director16 -
Hello Lord of the Craft,
The Game Development Team will be performing scheduled maintenance tonight at 10:00 PM EST (4.5 hours from when this is posted) on the main server (mc.lotc.co). Estimated downtime is 1-2 hours, and any changes will be delivered through Lord of the Craft's Twitter (https://twitter.com/LordOfTheCraft).
Due to the sensitive nature of this update, a post detailing the changes will go up after we are complete.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
Thanks,
Kowaman | Game Development Team Director

Another Aengudaemon? Didn't the community just whine and ***** to completely block the last one? Seem's like a pointless idea but nonetheless good lore.
I think that was more about Aengudaemonic events, nothing wrong with some cool lore. And that Aengul still exists, just the event line was stopped. +1 to the OP.

Ah, well I'll look at that after I'm done testing the PvP thing, otherwise I tried to place a sign on a bookshelf the other day and it wouldn't let me, ;~ ;
You just lock the bookshelf directly. If you want to put a sign on it to label it, shift-place the block.

As far as I know book-copying is still broken, I'll try it again I suppose.
Take a written book and a book and quill - put them in your 2x2 grid

Is this a meme, I think we already fixed both of these?

Hey all, we added some fixes you've been asking for.
Let me know in the comments down below what bugs you'd like to see fixed next. There's a lot of them so if we can prioritize some that the community wants we will.
No, "Nexus Crafting" is not a bug... or is it?
Rep will be fixed soon.

I will investigate this bug this week.

I code a lot of behind the scenes, and moderation plugins that GMs have requested - nothing most of the community really interacts with. I manage the development team, and I help out other staff affairs when asked. I'm not in the wrong for helping out in other areas of the server. I do my job here, but I like to have fun and do other things, though I don't go forcing my way into them.

Please help out our friend if you can.
Ps. In case anyone was wondering I have verified all the information in the post.

~ Greetings Denizens of Axios! ~
The Development Team has been working towards some significant changes to several of our plugins and have some exciting announcements to make.
First off, we we want to welcome back Sporadic to the Development Team:
With Sporadic back he took some time to dust off his old plugins and fix some bugs, as well as add some features that have been on our to-do list for some time. Get excited!
~ Roleplay Names Returned ~
/mcnames is now functional again and you will now see Roleplay names over people's heads when you log in.
As a bonus, use /nameplates to hide nameplates altogether.
~ Global Auction Houses ~
The current local Auctioneers will keep functioning, but will slowly be replaced by a single categorized global auction house. These can be setup by GMs so make sure to have a region owner name a /modreq.
~ Shops ~
The shop interface has changed to be more user-friendly, now a click-based menu, and the ‘you are busy’ message will no longer interfere with your browsing, and specific enchantments will now be displayed.
~ Bookshelves ~
Book reading in locked bookshelves now feature [Previous] and [Back] buttons for easier reading.Disappearing books in bookshelves should (hopefully) be fixed!!!
~ Breeding ~
Breeding staff is now defunct. Instead, pets can be freed and transferred with buttons that show up when you click a tamed pet.Unclaimed pets will have a [claim] button for easy reclaiming.
You can now call horses from unloaded chunks.
~ Crafting ~
We’ve altered some XP values on various crafting recipes, particularly woodworking. However, to help you all along with this change, the XP gained from crafting an item is now displayed in the crafting menu. We’re also displaying how much XP is required in order to reach the necessary level. Also, notifications will now be sent to you when a craft is complete. If you are offline, you will get it when you log back in!
~ Notes ~
If it pleases and sparkles, please keep a lookout for the following and report to the tech team if you notice any issues:
- The books disappearing from bookshelves is a long-standing glitch that is hard to reproduce. If you still notice it occurring after the update, please submit another bug report with as much information as possible. At the very least, include which commands you used, which actions you took, if the bookcase was locked, and if there were any other players nearby interacting with bookshelves.
- The chunk loading and unloading can be somewhat difficult to understand for us. If you start noticing world holes or vanishing horses please report this.- NPC skins will now load successfully much more consistently, and the empty tag above their head is now invisible again. If you see a Steve or Alex NPC let us know.
- Messing with player names can be a bit tricky - so if you start seeing invisible players, blank names, or other errors report this to us.
Many thanks to Sporadic for most of these changes, with myself and 501 helping with some debugging and polish. Thanks to 501 for the Crafting changes.
We hope you enjoy these changes! Expect more soon!
xoxo - The Development Team

We are removing waiting for items to craft - you get them right away - add that with the fast recharge rate and the relatively low consumption - it's really easy to craft things. It allows people to idle less, get what they want, and worry less about grinding.
We won't be selling "energy refills" stop your tin-foiling.
