Out-Of-Character:
Minecraft Account Name: TheDevilsPoet
Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No, sorry.
How old are you?: 14.
Time-Zone/Country of Residence: EST, USA
Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Very much so yes. Best in my class/grade, actually!
Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I'm a random person. Since I was a little kid I would play games on my PS2 and just pretend it was an actual online game and roleplay with it, which sounds a bit strange. Like on .hack// I would pretend the people actually talked and roleplayed with it! Bahaha. I'm a great roleplayer, anyways.
How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Hmm... I'd say about 5-6 hours a weekday and a fair bit of time on the weekends.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying, to me, means life. It's very fun and great! Roleplaying is all that people do sometimes, but not me. Roleplaying is how I like to play games. It means to pretend you're another person in a strange new world and just be a completely different person.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.
Metagaming is like, if you're talking in OOC-type chat, they say that. Or if... Say... You're a spy and you announced that in OOC, they say "ur a spy, n00b!". It's basically using information that they don't even have, but you said out of character.
Powergaming is doing impossible things, like flying or saying "im god n00b i cant die". Something that no human, elf, dwarf or whatever could actually do.
What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be fun, and not have any noobs who don't use proper grammar. I hope there are great RPers on the server, and I hope it is friendly.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on The VaultRP, but they shut down to create a Steampunk server called Retrofuture, which I sometimes play on. I tried applying for Middle-earth, but when I applied it turns out they had the server no more. ):
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes.
How did you hear about us?: Google. :)
Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? Yea.
What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Spoiledbrat45
In-Character:
Character Name: Aradon
What is your Race?: Dunedain
Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): A man. Just a mortal man. He's seen things you can't describe. He watched his father fall in a puddle of blood when the goblins attacked. He was just a boy then. He ran from that battle. The 31 men of the Gray Company reduced to 8 in just one battle. After it all went down, he grabbed a dagger. He knew from that moment he was destined to be something. His father told him to run, but Aradon would not. That, he would later learn, was a vital lesson, but also a dangerous one. He fought like a rabid animal, but like a smart one too. He dodged the crude goblin and orc blades, stabbing around. Before he knew it the fight was over. The little number of the Rangers fled in all directions. Aradon went off alone. He eventually found the Shire. His father was an old friend of hobbits. Aradon lived with them for some few years, but wanted revenge. He was too young to travel by himself, but did it anyways. He ended up back in the Shire with a nasty scar on his eye. He eventually grew bored of the Shire as he got older. He left the Shire when he became older and went in search of other rangers. He found the elves and lived among them for a while, learning their trade. He then traveled to the dwarfs, seeking help from them, but they had their own battle with the goblins to take care of. Aradon fled to the Northlands just to find it over run by orcs. There he found a man, an old friend of his fathers, who took Aradon in and trained him in the correct ways of the Dúnedain. After a while the man grew old and gray. He sent Aradon off to Bree, but while Aradon was leaving he heard a scream. The orcs had killed another man Aradon grew to like. Aradon knew no man or woman could ever get into his heart. He found a bag and the ranger's items and set off toward Bree to seek refuge and help... Maybe even some answers
Your characters ambitions: He wants to find the orcs who killed his father, and to unite the Dunedain once more.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? My character, Aradon, would sneak to the bandits, stabbing both in the back silently. After that, he would say nod at the elf and walk off into the Wilds.
Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? He says "Hallo, friend!", while walking to the shop owner, "What are your wares that you are selling?"

Roleplay Example: **Aradon is at the gate to Bree, asking to be let in** Aradon: Excuse me, sir, may I come into Bree? *The Breelander does not notice Aradon* Aradon says, louder,: SIR! Helllooo?! *The Breelander notices Aradon* The Breelander says in a heavy dwarf accent: 'Wot you wont? Aradon says, shuffling is bag: I want to be let into Bree for shelter. The Breelander shakes his head: Sorry, but rules are not to let anyone into Bree. We got a bit of an orc problem, you see mate? *Aradon looks over his shoulder and points at another gate into Bree* Aradon says: Well those people are being let into Bree! I think you're just disliking me from my looks! The Breelander turns red, saying: Ohh... Er... Uh.... You can go into Bree... *The gate opens* Breelander: Have a... Er... Nice... Day? *Aradon does not notice as he strolls into Bree, looking at the new sights, smells, and sounds. He heads over to the Prancing Pony for a drink*
