I think that "block coming back bug" is due to some weird invisible snow. Are you in a snowy biome?

I like this in the fact that I can flesh out my current character's father more and see things through his eyes. It's also really cool to see characters that Morg (my current character) knows but as young children or just younger in general, or even their parents. What I don't really like is that it is an alternate timeline. I sort of wish that these are the "lost episodes" of Aegis. Like a story that was never really told, the travelers shipwrecked, made temporary homes on the islands, then went to Asulon. But instead this never really happened, which is kind of sad to me for some odd reason. But great job to the staff for thinking this up and getting us in game. You all really do deserve a round of applause and much much more!

All of those were survival servers that just kind of got old over time, and littlecraft went down. My parents always used to joke that I was raised by wolves because of the way I eat. But you cant blame a kid who is raised in the wilderness to eat a little more "ruggedly" can you? Anyways, my story dates back some time ago. My parents, Slone Candridge and Mary (Shiling) Candridge, were childhood friends on an Island far off the Southern Coast of Aegis, it is called Everhold. My parents told me it was a place where the humans first settled on their pilgrimage before they eventually came to Aegis. The warriors their were fierce and determined. They had to be because they were guarding the first and at that time, only human colony since they started their journey to new lands. My dad, Slone, was a hunter for the colony of Everhold. He sold the pelts and every other item he could make with the hide or remains of his prey. My mother was the daughter of a proud farmer who was always willing to give my father business by buying the fresh pork that my dad would bring back to the colony. When my parents got married around the age of 19 to 20 and they planned to stay in Everhold and start a family there. But there came word of a growing darkness that was on the rise and would soon consume the island. They, knowing that my mother was pregnant left Everhold for the mainland of Aegis and did not stay with the people that they had known so well. They eventually ended up at the town of Ravenwood where my dad built a cabin outside of town, set up shop and continued his business of selling animal products such as: arrows, bows, leather armor, hides, meat, and the occasional bed from the wool that he collected. CHAPTER 2: (My Beginning) I was born at the start of the harvesting season with the name of Morgan Candridge. Morgan was supposedly the maiden name of my grandmother who passed away prematurely at the age of 32, when my mother was only 6. I was never fond of the name, for it sounded to feminine for my taste so eventually my parents shortened it to Morg. Since the day I could remember my father had me workin' hard, day and night learning his business that he had perfected to a science. I personally, enjoyed it, I got to spend all day in the woods exploring with my dad. He taught me how to use a bow by the time I was 8 years old, he taught me how to skin the animals we got with a stone blade, he told me how to find resources in order to make the goods he sold, I learned just about everything he knew by the age of 13. The only thing I needed to do with the knowledge at that point, was perfect it myself. Towards the end of the Winter season that year a messenger came from the capital, he brought news to my parents of Everhold. He told them that the overwhelming strength of the dark mist closing in on our land had consumed the once respected colony. My mother wept for weeks on end. I tried to comfort her but there was really nothin' I could think of saying. Even though my parents were sad they always talked like they new there were survivors at Everhold. They told me legends of the fearsome soldiers that guarded the isle, and how no group of people that dedicated and kind could ever fall to such an evil. What can I say? I believed every word they said, there had to have been survivors. There has to be a band of loyal freedom fighters that still exists in that darkness, or on the other side of it...if there is another side. When I turned 18 I told my parents I wanted to see the sights, you know, go out and experience the world for myself. I told my father I would try to continue his business on my travels and that I would come back and visit as much as I could. So with that I set out into the unknown land with the skills that my father had passed down to me, like a feather in the summer breeze, Im not sure where I'll end up or what I will do. But hey, that's part of of the fun. What is your Character's ambitions?: My ambitions are to explore this wondrous world and to try to further my fathers humble business as I travel. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): The tools I am most comfortable with are a bow and arrow and a small stone sword. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? My most skilled talent is archery, and hunting. But I have learned to be quick with the light blade I normally use to skin cows to get leather. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I would firstly consider my option to walk away and not risk my wares from being stolen as well. But I would remember that I am representing my mother and father and they would not stand for me to just walk by someone in need so I would walk up and ask what the problem was. I then would think about how cliche and stupid that line sounded and would immediately want to take it back but I couldn't. If the warriors respond kindly and just say something like "we're just avin' a little fun mate" and walk on I would give them a stern but timid warning. If they threaten me I would not hesitate to pull out my bow and remember every hunting technique my father taught me. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I would want to immediately say "Hail!" because I did not ever get to say it that often growing up, but I would refrain from saying it. I would instead say "Hey, what have you got for sale?" I am constantly thinking about how I get always get suckered into a deal too easily because I don't want to say "no" and make the merchant feel bad. If he is selling stuff I dont want I would just say, "I already have a lot of that stuff, but thank ya for the offer." If he is selling stuff I am interested in I would buy something and maybe ask for tips on pricing and selling my own goods and maybe ask him if he would like to buy anything from me. After that I would walk on and keep exploring the area. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would definitely not take anythin' from that house because It looks exactly like MY cabin in the woods did when nobody was home! They could just be in the town doing something. Just because the lights are out and its in the wilds doesn't mean its abandoned. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would respond kindly and try to fit in as best as I can. One of my reasons for going on this journey of maturity was seeing different types of people. If the common tongue is different from my own, I would try to pick up on some words and try to sell some of my wares to them since it is a trading camp after all. If the common tongue is my tongue then I would see If I could spend the night with them to have a safe place to rest. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I would be disinterested but realized that this was my chance to make a mark and to see some excitement on my journey. Oddly enough I had had a very realistic dream about being an archer in the King's army. Remembering that dream and my adrenaline that starts pumping I awkwardly enlist in the task. I of course, would help them to the best of my ability.

My father was a successful hunter in the lands of Asulon, he mainly sold leather and other products made from animals:bows (spider web), arrows (feathers), and leather armor. My mother, Marian on the other hand grew up very sheltered in the town of Ravenwood. But one day my father came to Ravenwood on business and met my mother. They always told me it was love at first site, whatever that means. They moved out into a cabin outside of Ravenwood. My dad's business flourished there, and soon enough they had me, Morgan. I was never too fond of the name, for it sounded too feminine for my taste. Morgan was my mothers maiden name so I didn't care to argue about it. My parents were "understanding" about it though, so they shortened it to Morg when I was 4 years old. As I grew older my dad taught me how to use a bow to hunt and collect skins for his business, I had gotten really good at using it. Using a bow was second nature to me. My strong arms could pull back the string with ease and my dark bangs were cut short so I could see clearly. Life was great, living with my Mother and Father in the woods, not a care in the world. How would your character respond?: I, having a strong sense of justice would not have the heart to take them, though I would feel very tempted. I would walk on leaving the items for someone who has a better use for them. I try my best to understand with the ringing in my head from exhaustion. I would try to get water from them by describing it, and when I am well offer to sell some pelts. How does your character act on this information?: I would surely help, for bandits are the very type of people that killed my beloved parents. I would stay at a distance and take the bandits out quickly and quietly with my bow. After it was over I would, take half the money. I'm young, I like money and he offered it too me but I would feel guilty for taking all of it.
