Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Baine was born in a eleven town called Leumaelin. His father taught him how to use a sword, and also helped him train with a bow. Once Baine was ten his father went to hunt. He stayed with his mom and helped her tend to the crops and plant new saplings. Sadly, his father never returned it wasn't decided if his father was dead or alive. Baine and his mother waited for his father's return. He never came. Baine's mother couldn't accept that his father was dead. She could be heard crying in grief from outside her bedroom door. Baine couldn't stand to see his poor mother in so much grief therefor, he set off in the night and slipped into a neighbor's house. Quickly he grabbed a bag of coins from a table in the house. He didn't know of any way else to cheer his mother up. The next morning he gave the coins to his mother hoping it would help. She gave a faint smile and sighed "You remind me of your father...a gentleman he was...you might just follow in his footsteps." Baine felt horrible after that sentence. A pain punched him in the gut. His father would never steal. No, his father would earn the money. That one night effected his whole life. Every time he would touch a gold coin he would see the house he stole from. His mother later on died of grief...even him trying to cheer her up wasn't enough. Baine was left all alone. He used his skills to get food for himself and also get gold. One day he hopes to be able to come clean with the people he stole from and give them their money back, but for now he remains silent hoping for a better life far away from his crime. Baine now seeks out a new village and a new home to find away from the village, he no longer shows his sadness but it still eats at him inside. What are they like? In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-Emoting is were Player 1: *Dodges Player 2's sword* Player 2: *Kills Player 1 in one hit.* In-Character Details Character Name: Talos Blade Character Race: Dwarf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Talos was a young boy when his family died, he was about 7 years old when his home was raided by bandits. When a bandit was about to kill him an elf broke a window and pulled Talos out of harms way. The elf took Talos in to live with him. When Talos turned 20 he decided to buy his own home and move out. Talos often visited the Elf however after a few years the elf died from old age. Talos would hunt for food and he would chop wood to cook and heat his home. One day after he had killed a cow he heard someone jumping from tree to tree although he saw no one, once he returned to his cabin several orcs appered. This angered Talos pulled out his axe and put all of his rage into the swings, each hit took down the orcs. Talos was concerned that he could be attacked and he was always on guard. Talos was good at living off the land however he did not like the fact that his home could be raided and he could be killed. Just before Talos's 38th birthday his house was attacked by bandits and after he killed all of them he knew that he had to move because it was too dangerous and other bandits would return for revenge. He took all his stuff and left his cabin and decieded to sail off to an island with no trees and no hills. Once he found a perfect place he built his house. After years of being lonely, he decided to become a travelor. Right now his age is 40 and he has overcome many life obstacles. To this day Talos does'nt talk about his family that he lost at an early age although he does think of them everyday. Talos's has meet many friends traveling although he has had his share of defeating thiefs and bandits during his travels. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? "Let me see if I have any coins for ye......." says Talos while digging into his pocket for coins. "Ahhh....I dont have any coins for ye.....give me one minute I'll go get some coins." *Talos goes to his house and takes 200 coins* *Talos looks for the dwarf but he is no where to be found.* "Yes you need 40 coins if you want to keep your shop here!" A voice says behind Talos. "Please sir ye, gotta let me keep this shop its all I have!" Another voice says behind Talos. *He hears a gasp* "Do ye have de coins ye said ye had?" His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. His mom and dad would get food for him and his brother. Jack would mine with his brother at the house. One stormy day Jack's mom had a baby girl. 3 years later Jack's brother tought her how to cook. When he let her try and cook she about burned the house down. A few days later Jack got very sick. So did his brother. 5 days later bandits came and stole Jack's sister while their parents were away and they also shot his brother. That night his brother died. Jack's mom had to start farming and cooking because his dad broke his arm from falling down a big hill. 3 months later his mom died heart attack that same night a bandit attack came and Jack's father told him to run out the backdoor. Before Jack left his dad said "Wait take this." He threw him a gem. Later on after Jack found saftey in a little house. He looked at the gem his dad threw him. He thought in his head did my dad want me to sell this? He shook his head. Then Jack noticed this was the family gem. When Jack's dad died he was only 15 and he didn't know how to use a sword but he could use an axe but he did not have one. How would he make one? 2 days later Jack meet an old man named Callum. The old man tought him how to craft things. Not only that but Callum gave Jack 100 coins to buy things from stores and he also gave him a map to the nearest city. Jack was on his way of becoming a man and he knew that he had to make wise decisions if he were going to survive. Jack often stayed up many nights unable to sleep because of his fear of the unknown. Jack was on his own and meeting people he could trust was impossible. The only friend that Jack had was Callum and he was too old to travel but the help and the knowledge that Jack received from Callum would come in handy. What are your Character's ambitions?: To look for his sister if she's still alive and to survive on his own until he finds her. He wants to seek revenge on the bandits that killed his dad and kidnapped his sister. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite tool is a axe. Jack was taught by his father and an early age how to kill animals and chop wood with an axe. With an axe he will beable to defend himself and kill animals to have food. He is very fast at running and can get out of dangerous situations. Jack is a very light sleeper and can sense when danger is near. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how is your character respond? Jack- "Hello men would you like some coins?" Warrior 2- *stares at Jack in a surprised way.* Warrior 1- *Lets halfling go.* Jack-*Kicks both the warriors in the stomach.* Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" how is your character respond? Jack- "I'll have 2 pieces of pork and some ale." Man- *hands Jack the items* Jack- "Here ya go 100 coins sir." Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Jack- *Takes the items and leaves 10 coins.* Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond Jack- "Sir may you be kind and give me some food and shelter?" Man-"Why um ok sir well I'll give ya the food and shelter for 30 coins." You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying.
