  1. Urguan News _________________________________________________________ New Players: Roquenk - Erad Goldensword2 - Dongrim Hotdog1187 - Kilgrim BRobelhak _________________________________________________________ Sunday: On sunday, Thon, a human came to my throne to discuss a interesting topic. He proposed a new idea for a siege weapon. He described a canon in which used magic to fire projectiles capable of creating holes through old Abresi’s walls. Farren went with him to discuss how’d they be able to create such a thing. However, there are some complications on whether if the lore would allow it because of the upcoming lore system changes. Kyral Rillan (Arkelos), a representive from Malinor approached my throne. With her she brought two crowns. Crowns in which came from the Kingdoms of Alras and Aeroch Nor. Currently they rest inside Ogradhad’s library. Though she pleaded for help. Recently Malinor was overtaken by the Northern Antagonist, causing the elves to flee. Druids have discovered that these antagonists roamed the caverns underneath. If the Antagonist continued digging south they may have the potential of breaching our deep roads. She asked for the dwarves to diggy-diggy hole inside Malinor to allow Elven scientist to collect some samples of a magical tree within the caverns. However we confront the danger of an attack. _________________________________________________________ Monday: The lords and I had a meeting with the Oren rebellion, as they pleaded for our help. The date of my coronation was announced to be on Saturday. Also, I recognized the new positions of the Grand Merchant and the High Prophet. Thrognar Grandaxe to the role of becoming the new man in charge of MOOLA! Also, Morgrim Grandaxe was elected as the new High Prophet from the Council of Prophets. Good job guys. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/100854-the-coronation-and-new-elected-positions/ _________________________________________________________ Tuesday: Late at night, the new High Rememberancer, Bazian Grandaxe was announced, officially taking position. Also the new lord was announced to be Onar Stormhammer (Kowaman) to fill the duties upon the Lord’s council. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/100924-the-elected-remembrancer-and-the-new-lord/ A new meeting room was created for the Lord's and King's council located underneath the throne room. Thanks Kowaman. All lords have been given ownership to all regions in the city. If you want a room or shop, talk to one of them. _________________________________________________________ Wednesday: The lords and I talked about upcoming taxes and changing tax day. Tax day will now be on Saturdays from the previous tuesdays. Debate still continued upon uniting with the Oren Rebellion. Farren and I stand debating against it as Igor and newly elected Onar fight to join their ranks. The lords and I hosted a meeting with the Elves from Malinor about the topic brought up on Sunday. There, Princess Titania asked for the dwarves upon diggy-diggy whole within the boarders of old Malinor. The dwarves agreed upon assisting the Elves however a date has yet to be decided. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/100976-a-letter-calling-for-a-meeting/ _________________________________________________________ Thursday: A letter was sent to the Kingdom of Oren demanding for a meeting to clear up the treaty. Still tensions between whether Dwarves are going to join the ranks of the Oren rebellion rise. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/101039-a-letter-to-the-emperor/ _________________________________________________________ Friday: A letter was sent out through the lands about an upcoming Stone Tree competition calling for the best sculptures. The event brought many dwarves to have some fun. We saw that BaronVonDietz proved he can make the best stone tree. Good job! http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/101048-dwarven-stone-tree-sculpting-competition/ The Yemekar’s Pick area was attacked by Ondnarch’s Minions. He entered through the mines. Threatening our kingdom. Overtime, we are beginning more and more attacks from descendents of Ondnarch. A meeting was held in Halen'or discussing Rune Smithing. Detail is hard to obtain because Indago was reading a book. However, humans threaten to attack us whilst walking outside the walls. Farren and Dave were able to discuss a peace treaty with the High Elves. Sorry, now war. Gronk died. I'm sorry. *cough "Nexus" cough "PVP." _________________________________________________________ Saturday: Today, my coronation was held within the throne room. Representatives from each race appeared, showing tribute to the new king. Everything went smoothly until a storm of humans barged in. They demanded for Princess Titania though were driven out by the guard force. Threats were made, causing a gathering of armored dwarves to march to Abresi in which we excreted inside their fountain. Don’t drink their water. The lords and I were placed in another meeting with the Oren Rebellion. Still, I stand upon peace, and neutrality while Igor and Onar push for war. I wrote the story of my life. I describe where I came from and what it was like when I was a new player. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/101140-peasant-to-king-the-story-of-indago/ Another meeting was held with the Oren Rebellion. Here, I have decided to remain Neutral. _________________________________________________________ Upcoming Events: A new post will be made to unite economy and jobs to do within the Kingdom Malinor Diggy-Diggy hole event will be planned and executed Dwarven Whaling will take place on Saturday. Time TBA. Tomorrow, I will be hosting a Legion Practice, see you there. A tree farm will be developed near the city, given access to those who ask. A new player video guide will be created to give new players an idea of who we are. ________________________________________________________ http://i.imgur.com/bI6rnka.png Meeting with Malinor ________________________________________________________ http://i.imgur.com/COwo7IS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lzhWInO.png Look at those stone trees. ________________________________________________________ http://imgur.com/0GZrvnZ We will not be these people. 2. Peasant to King The Story of Indago ((ooc)) ___________________________________________________________________ Application: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/59246-application-xspullerx/?hl=%2Bxspullerx+%2Bapplication ___________________________________________________________________ I entered the lands of Anthos at elven time: June 20, 2012 at 12:05 pm. Appearing first at the cloud temple, I was quite unsure where to go. There were four paths, one for each major race. Humans, Dwarves, Orcs, and Elves. The paths were marked with wool, and if I could recall, I believe that the Dwarves were symbolized with the color of Red. Using the OOC chat, I first learned to walk down the “Red” road. And so I did. The path took me under the mountains guiding me to my first steps on the Lands of Urguan. Right away, there was a split, left or right, and at the fork was a sign. The sign said the name of a civilization and pointed to the right. Naturally I assumed the left led to insignificant lands. The path guided me to a small town, in which had a locked gate. Looking around, I could see that the town was built up between two mountains. I asked around, still in OOC chat until someone told me about the command of /rp. From then I said my first words, “Hello!?” There was no one there. And so I ventured back to the fork in the road, taking the path in which led me to the left. The area was shaded by a plethora of oak trees, and in there, contained a guide in which spoke upon visiting a city. Looking around, there was no path near him and so I was confused. About a month later did I find out the town was through the wood and had no path leading to it. I always thought that guide was crazy. And so I continued through the large plains of Urguan. The walk took about five elven minutes to the point I would reach another fork in the road. There were signs pointing both ways. One was to the right over a bridge and one was pointing left enscripted, “Kal’Dwain,” upon it. I decided to go left, following the mountain range. After another grooling walk within the lands of Urguan, I came across another gate that laid open. In front of it consisted of four statues, dwarven statues. They showed power which made me shiver, I knew I finally entered the Dwarven Capital. Well.... not really. I entered the gates, and a beautiful mountain civilization revealed itself. Homes were above us, and a small pond laid at the base of the mountains. Right when I entered, I noticed a nice tavern in which I went into. Throughout the entire city, there was only one man. He came rushing in behind me through the gate. When he noticed me, he stated that they needed more legionnaires to join the ranks for the Kingdom of Urguan. Though looking around, there appeared to be no one. The mysterious man said to follow him and so I did. We went back to the crossing of the two roads in which directed me to Kal’Dwain. Oddly, we did not go left, nor right. We went straight to a hidden path beneath snow. For a whole elven week, I hadn’t noticed that which really cooked my potatoes. The man guided me to a road that led us up inside a mountain and out the other end. Turning the corner, my eyes saw the entrance to Mount Ire. I had yet to see a city like this, though when I entered there was a guard there, the guard made it all the better. Made it feel real, like the place is a place to hang out. After he had opened the gate, I overlooked the city which had a lava river in front of it. The area was beautiful. Turning to my left, the man that guided me told me to hit this sign and teleport down. At the time I was afraid that I might die and rather go down the ladder right next to it. However, I did hit the sign and POOF I felt I was in a whole new world. What I didn’t notice was that I just went down a ladder. Together, we crossed the lava river and entered the city, where the city was teeming with life of about ten dwarves. It was epic, .... at the time. After an entire week, I was able to meet with the dwarves. ___________________________________________________________________ Mount Ire I didn’t have a house, nor a bunk at that time. I had to carry everything I had and everything that I carried was to pressure to lose. Cobblestone to make blades, and zombie flesh to give me a meal. When looking at the houses within Mount Ire, my eyes would bulk up looking at the prices. 1500 minas for a 5X8 house. As a grunt, I had no minas, my pockets were dry. Though I knew I wanted to be instituted into the community. I think I would have left the lands if someone hadn’t done the nice deed that they had done. He was known as CakeBeforeTime, the Quartermaster of the kingdom. He was also a really good smith. I am not sure where he had gone off too, but one day, he gave us a brand new set of armor. When I refer to us, I am recalling with xxxSherbetxxx, ((a real life friend)). The armor really made us feel powerful because I think we both knew how hard it was to get armour. Do you know I did with my new equipment? I took my sword and went outside the main entrance of Mount Ire. There, I spent hours hitting zombies, skeletons, and spiders. When I did this, a player would only receive 0.5 minas per kill. After doing this for days, I raised 1,500 minas! Just for killing the undead. Using the money, I purchased my first home, located on the right side of the city. It was not big, but it was something to store my loot from. In my home, I secretly made a melon farm with about four melons underneath in which I used for food. Oh, I was sooooo bad. I didn’t really get involve with the legion so much, I much rather work on getting minas. I can clearly remember a day in which I wanted to be like CakeBeforeTime. There was quite a big line in the throne room in which led to Kjell. Was HE INTIMIDATING! He was shouting and cursing and was just a bad ass. When he shouted, “NEXT!” I was shaking. It was strange how your perspective changes throughout the year. I asked Kjell if I could be a smithy for the legion. He said yes, however, nothing really took off from there. Kal'Anart I’ve been on the server for nearly a month now, and I received a message from someone by the name of Bazian (TEEbrown). He was clan father of the Grandaxes and he messaged me about a new city named Kal’Anart. The Grandaxes were mountain dwarves, and you could see just by looking at their city. We arranged a time to meet up, and so we did. From Mount Ire, I was led through the forest in which I defeated the undead. If someone was looking for this city, you’d never be able to find it because a road hadn’t been constructed. Finally, after crossing a desert and coming to a field. A lone mountain stood in front of us which contained a city above it. This was my new home. We walked up the steep stairs leading to the gate, from where we walked in to the square. I remember seeing workers building and activity. Immediately I was given a bunk inside a tower near the back of the city. There, the homes were a lot larger and cost as little as 500 minas. I loved the city. And so did my friend. We are nearing the end of Summer, and I am comfortable in my new city. I had close relations with the King. There, I opened a fletchery where I sold everything Archery related. Surprisingly I gained a lot of minas. From there I purchased the tavern, where I remember serving an ale to kjell after a battle. He was very tired that day. My friend and I constructed a farm, that was covered in glass, and looking back, it seemed pretty stupid. Inside, we had every color sheep, wheat, breeding area, and chickens. From here, is where I worked to make a small fortune. There are a few stories with that farm, one is Gorum stole all our sheep which we ended up just replacing them. Another, I had to train a dog to attack for the legion in which I just had it kill chickens. I also built a large home there in which Zezimus and other nobility told me and my friend to scram, and we had to blow up our house with tnt. That was a fun day. Slowly, my friend left the server. But our best memory was the battle of the sand, between Orcs and Dwarves. It felt truly like a war and that we won with only 2-3 surviving. Good times. ___________________________________________________________________ Anthos I did attend the event leaving Asulon, nor was I active during the island before reaching Anthos. The only thing I can remember was during winter break, I had join and thought that it was Anthos. My first impression was that it was crap and thought that THIS was what they were working on for 6 months. Once I finally found a boat that took me to the dwarven lands, lava was spewing out from the top, flowing down in every direction. I just decided to give up. Though I didn’t. I was so exciting to hear about the event in which we were leaving to go to Anthos. I couldn’t stop talking about it. I made sure I entered to experience history. This wasn’t the first time I entered TeamSpeak, but when I hadn’t I thought you had to rp in teamspeak with other players in which I find funny. And so I joined for the event where at the time, the server was packed with three hundred people and I was meeting a plethora of people. Sailing was fun, it made you gain a lot of excitement which was what we needed. Plus, it was fun to jump around and splash around while we waited. There was no real RP done there, just a bunch of people jumping around. Then, the server went down. Pushing refresh, the server opened and the flood of people entered the lands of Anthos. The dwarves grouped up and went to explore, and run to our new home. Azgoth! The city of Treasure. The city was beautiful and mysterious because we didn’t know what we’d find. Kjell was barking order, though everyone was worried about food. People were actually starving to death, in which they’d have to make the trip back to the city all over again. The land was alien, we were not familiar at all. But the new map ment a new beginning which I wanted to be apart of. I never went away, except mostly during the Track season, but I sticked to it. First, within the new world, I purchased a stall, which I would introduce the all mighty CAT MEAT! I was soon wealthy, richer than most. However, the city having its issues. I was one of those who veered into the dreadful wilds. I built a fort in which I continued my arrow making business and producing food. Though it wasn’t always fun to be tucked away in the back. When the new shop plugin was introduced, I went to the entrance of the wilds to construct a shop. There, I met VinnyVediVici who was constructing a little building, or trade market. After talking to him, Vinny, some of my friends and I began constructions of Kal’Halla which today remains in ruins. The city was a change from the ugly crap in the wilds to something pleasing to the eyes. And from that city I made a bunch of moola. Later Anthos After leaving the wilds, I returned to Kal’Azgoth and later became the Grand Merchant. I had been on the server for over a year and this was my first leadership position. However the guild under me failed miserably, I did end up giving the kingdom 40k minas. Also I reintroduced cave bread which everyone enjoys to see. After all the plugins just began to fail, I left my position to do something more productive. I roamed the world more and just went on through events. But, overtime that stuff gets boring. Well, it was time to do something different. I began constructing Storms Crossing after my brother Dreek and Kjell did some work on it. I added the wall extensions and improved in areas throughout. Then, I wanted a new entrance which caused me to make the grand hall which further developed into the city today. After when the city was nearly complete, and after building for nearly three months, I decided to become Archbishop which I later renamed High Prophet. And now we reach today, the day of my coronation. After the fall of Dizzy, I was elected after being nominated from Zezimus or Morgrim. I had experienced a lot, and many instanced were when I was inexperienced and relatively new to the server. I hope to improve the kingdom fixing the problems that we currently face. I know my story had been long, today marks a new day. It marks the beginning of change. ___________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________

  12. A Letter to the Emperor As a new day dawns, a messenger arrives in Abresi, bearing a letter addressed to the Emperor of Oren. It reads as follows. “To Emperor Siegmund Carrion, Hail Emperor Carrion. On behalf of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, I, Grand King Indago Stormhammer, am writing to you in order to discuss the terms of the Treaty of the Krelmstad that was signed some weeks prior to my ascent as ruler of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. In the events surrounding the removal of the former Grand King, Dizzy Irongrinder, It seems there has been some confusion first and foremost, upon the matter of the Dwarf Act of 1445, a so called modified version of the Kjell Act. The original document placed before the eyes of the Lord’s Council of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan specifically pinpointed the Kjell Act as being legally enforced by both the Abresi guard and any Legionnaires who went into your lands. However, it appears that within private discussion held with the former Grand King, this was substituted for a more refined version of the Act, the so called Dwarf Act of 1445. In having said this, due to the former Grand King never taking the legal proceedings to pass this Act through his own council, I can only regret to inform you that it is not legally recognised by the Grand Kingdom. This apparent misunderstanding has seemingly led to various grievances between your own city guard and dwarves trying to gain entry into your lands. Therefore, I would like to propose a meeting amongst representatives of both Oren and Urguan so that we may commence a renewed discussion upon the terms of the Treaty of The Krelmstad. I would further like to state that this does not strictly invalidate the terms of the former treaty. The cease to hostilities is still very much in place for the duration that this meeting is to be held. Therefore, it is merely intended as a means of establishing a clearer and more concise set of terms that both parties can agree upon in order to further avoid conflict between our two great nations in the future. I await your response with much anticipation, Grand King Indago Stormhammer.”
  13. ((well we had planned to have the meeting since monday and though we didnt discuss a time. This was just so there was a set time, not just "Wednesday." I had already talked to twilight so it wasn't just random, this was to notify the entire elven kingdom.))
  14. A dwarven royal messenger sloth creeps into the elven camp. It goes to Titania’s tent and drops an envelope sealed with the Grand King’s Seal. Upon open it, a letter from the Grand King is removed and read. To The High Princess, A few days ago one of your citizens, by the name of Kyral Rilann came to me in Kal’Ithrum. We would be glad to offer our assistnace and request that you meet with our Lord’s Council on Lahk’Sefar, Ved’Tva of Trumm (Today, Nov. 13) at approximately 7:30 Dwarven Standard Time (5:30 EDT). The crowd finishes their conversations, then turn to look at the stubby, short king. "Brethren, you have elected a new remembrancer, in which should protect and store the knowledge of our kingdom. Bazian Grandaxe was selected upon filling the role. May Ogradhad guide him to excellence. As of all you are wondering, I have selected the new lord. He is rather new to the kingdom but shows great potential to his works for the city. He radiates passion toward our brethren. His name is......., " A drum roll is heard in the distance. "Onar Stormhammer. May he do what I say and dont get in the way. Now then, I expect to see you all my coronation where we shall celebrate our new nation! The beginning of change!"
