  1. (( I expect to see some Azel in this bad boy~ ))
  2. Azel nods slowly, taking a seat and pulling his canteen out. He listens to him speak, careful to note each and every word coming from the mouth of his new companion. He nods along with what is said and studies the mask as he taps it. Once he eventually stops speaking, Azel tries to smile to cheer him up before dropping his head back and drinking from his canteen. He puts it down on the table before looking back down at the masked man. "Well... I cannot tell you much of the man, but as a Sentinel of Malinor, I feel it is my duty to hear such ideas and spread them to the High Council. I myself hate the division of the Mali and wish to do something about it. If we all stand together, I am sure we can speak up and be heard. If you will not step up, I will happily do it for you."
  3. Azel stands at the entrance to the tavern, staring at the man drowning his sorrows in sadness due to the loss of his friend. Azel approaches him and smiles down, trying to be as friendly as possible. He studies him in the dim light of the tavern, over the noise of the Elves within. "May I sit with you? Many would need a friend in such a time like this and I'd happily fill the role. Besides, I'd like to learn of this monk and what you two spoke of."
  4. Azel stares at it for several more minutes, not quite sure what to think of it. Eventually he realizes why he was placed first and smiles to himself, nodding in approval. "Thank you brother." Azel walks nearby, standing under the shadow of a stall while watching the docks.
  5. Agree with Demon, a lot of what he said, if not all of it is amazing... Though, I believe that the districts are to be removed. And most Mali'ker do not act that way... Only Cyndikate's characters lol~
  6. Azel stares at the list blankly. "Why do people acknowledge me?" He asks no one in particular, while reading the list.
  7. As mercury mentioned, the Elves are different. Most Mali'ame are relatively peaceful and that is what I expect of their race. The Mali'ame for me have always been nature loving, life preserving Elves that fight only for their lives or their friends/family. The Mali'ker are another story entirely most of the time. If you have not noticed, the Mali'ker seem to be slowly turning into the Mori. Many prefer the underground, many resort to violence over words, and many detest the Mali'aheral as they do the Mali'ker. The Mali'aheral... Well... Mercury said it. They do have reasons in lore and rp to hate other races and insult them. Though, if they weren't constantly harassed that most likely wouldn't be happening in Rp. The three forms of Elves are different for a reason... It is not uncommon to see Mali'ame or Mali'aheral kicking ass and taking names... Nor is it uncommon to see a Mali'ker who loves nature. It is all how you Rp it, but the Elves are split in three due to the way most people Rp them. To unify them would be great, but its elves like Artimec, Azula, Kalenz, and at times Kolyat (all Ic of course) that cause such tension and splits. And I say like, because their are others that escape my mind. In my opinion, Malinor is not all that bad now, considering Elsyium was a mess... But in Rp and Irl logic, the Princedom of Malinor would cease to exist, or be near that point. The elves, which has already been stated, are not a warlike race. Now, there can of course be skilled Elves, that is why they have a military, but for a race like the Elves, neutrality is the ideal state. That way they will not be constantly attacked and be able to have trading with the other races. The turmoil within Malinor may crumple it at some point and that I think is what is trying to be avoided...
  8. Azel silently approaches the box and looks down at it with a raised eyebrow. He looks down at his own parchment and rereads what he wrote the night before. Orym, there are many within the Sentinel ranks that have done their job to the best of their ability and have done it right. As I look at many of the Sentinels, I cannot begin to explain the immense amount of pride I see in the faces of those who wish to serve Malinor in such a dangerous way. Many of them deserve much more than they already have... So, I'd like to voice my own opinion on who deserves a promotion and who does not. Rhonir... Currently of the rank of Initiate but more than deserving of the rank of Gladewatcher. An able Elf with a strong sense of courage and justice. I for one, respect the Elf and wish to see him promoted. Serva Rose, currently the rank of Sentinel, but more deserving of the role of Commander than the current one, Beren. Beren has been away for some time, so I am unaware to exactly what he is doing or the reasoning. But we must face the facts, Beren may be dead or captured and if we do not move on, awarding those who better deserve the role, then the Sentinels will not grow and strengthen. Tathar, also currently an initiate. I feel he deserve the position of Gladewatcher for the same reasons as Rhonir. Elerel, a strong and wise Elf for one so young. Deserving of Warden even though he seems inexperienced. Now... sadly, there is one I feel does not deserve a promotion... And that is Lyweneth. She is skilled in her craft, but she has little to no control of her anger and I feel she would be a danger if given to much respect and power. Until able to get past said obstacle, she should remain as is. There is one other I feel deserves a promotions, but the actions of this Elf says it all. Azel slips the note into the box and walks off, heading to patrol as he whistles a happy tune.
  9. Azel reads each of the notes and shakes his head before walking off.
  10. Azel sighs, getting rather annoyed off all these Noladrim notes. He searches for Bircalin to set things straight.
  11. (( That looks nothing like us~ )) Azel looks at all the posters in silence.
  12. Just lost my three best friends on the server because I want to follow lore and rules~ Great Valentines day

  13. Azel approaches the note. He reads the citizen application and then the following notes, showing no emotion as others read and comment. He turns around to any nearby that can hear and clears his throat. Before speaking, he stares out at any and all in the area that can hear. "My fellow Elves... Mali... Half Elves... Whatever it is you prefer, we are all the same blood, just additions to it. No matter how much the supposed 'pure' elves wish to deny it, the Half Elves are Elves nonetheless. The blood of our father runs through their veins, as ever present as their other halves. If we deny those like Elphaba and another dear friend by the name of Luna, then we will lower ourselves to the level of beasts in social standings. Who are we to raise ourselves as pure? In no way are we pure... Pure is a state of mind to me and no Elf has shown me they are pure. I do not, in any way agree to this and if others feel this way I would love to know it. Come to me, Azel Bloodseeker and I will see this straightened out. I may not be a council member, but I will fight for the good of others no matter what. It is what we are supposed to do." Azel steps back and walks off, searching for a quiet place to meditate on the current events.
  14. (( Really tempted to have Azel jump into this conversation. Mind if I join in? )) Azel wanders through his old home, his arms crossed as he studies the abandoned area.
  15. Azel nods, completely surprised that Serva and himself are on the same page for once. He continues speaking, unable to stop himself, a growing sense of pride for the Sentinels blooms within him. "When I originally joined the Sentinels, Prince Khel himself told me I could become of officer rank from all I did for Malinor... I was denied that ability and I took that with pride and a stoic mind. That at first dissuaded me, making it hard for me to continue to work, but I did so. I did it because it was the right thing to do, the right thing for myself and for Malinor. As I look at the officers and the Initiates, I see they do it because it is the right thing to do. All are strong and kind hearted men and women alike. If we remove the Sentinels, these strong warriors will resign from the military. This new military... Well... Its nothing I respect. Its a band of self-held, upheld warriors that have no heart."
  16. Azel nods to what Serva said and continues on with him. "I do not feel that removing the Sentinels is the way to go. I know that most, if not all Sentinels will go on their way instead of joining this group of up starts. The Sentinels have worked long and hard and many of the members I look at as if they were family. The growth of the Initiates promises a strong and profiting future for Malinor, but disbanding them is not the way to do that. Malinor will lose some of its finest warriors and most caring people if this continues..." Azel growls as he finishes.
  17. Azel stares at the sign and laughs loudly. "Inactive?! What kind of bull **** is this?!" He laughs even harder. "The Sentinels train daily and have been on the site of many different crimes. I dare anyone to speak otherwise against that. It is the greeed and power hungry Elves that wish to see the Sentinels removed."
  18. Can't wait to do some killing~

  19. I may be losing my daughter in Rp :(

  20. OOC: MC Name: Drone414 Do you have teamspeak: Yes, but I don't use it, nor do I plan too -sorry-. Skype Username: I will just add you. (We use skype for text chat roleplay such as meetings and announcements. We won't ever use skype for voice chat/video chat, so don't worry about any of that.) IC: Name: Azel Bloodseeker Age: 113 Sub-Race: Dark Elf Rank: Gladewatcher When did you join: I/Azel joined the sentinels three days after arriving in Malinor, which was around the time it was built. So most likely a month or two ago. Are you interested in the rank of sentinel: I am online enough to play the rank of Sentinel, so yes. Azel has the skill, considering he was one of the only sentinels able to duel with Silir when he was the High Commander.
  21. Yes, I was wondering the same thing for another friend of mine that wished to join the server.
  22. Banned for roleplaying guides of amazing.
