  1. Azel steps forward once more. "You all tell us to get together but the Council is to blame and I am not afraid to say this aloud. By allowing the Mali'aheral their own walls to hide and cower behind was the first mistake! But then the Mali'ker distract received gates to set them away from their brethren! This was all allowed by the council and the council must be the ones to fix it." He pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I know many of my brother and sister Mali in this square will come together whether the council asks it or not, but many others will not because of the selfishness and pride that was left to multiply and grow within our people. As I said, I may be young, but even I can see that! I have been saying this long enough, but only now do others listen. If we all had decided to do this when we first got on this gods forsaken mountain, then we would most likely not be in this position. We may actually be able to stand against those that threaten us! Stomping out all that makes us Mali for the sake of Oren and the Orcs is not how we stay strong. We show that we are weak as a people, and this is due to being three separate people within the home of one! The council must take responsibility or step down, for our High Prince has done little and even Khel, who has been praised for his past actions every Elven day has done little to nothing but allow us to be stomped on by the other inhabitants of this island! Either the council takes responsibility or give up its power to those more deserving, those who will make change!" Azel steps down, happy he got out his two sense once more.
  2. Azel looks around the large group, hearing his Elders speaking out and others around him murmur and mutter their agreements or disagreements before he himself steps forward to speak. "I know I am young. I know I myself am no Prince or Princess of Malinor, but the goal of unity cannot be achieved by a High Prince shouting it to the square and then returning behind his walls. If we are to be unified, we all must understand one another's culture, even if it means moving in to the districts of the Mali'ame or Mali'ker, or even the Mali'aheral districts. It is not a matter of whether or not we want to do it, or can we do it, but we have to do it. Whether some wish to or not if we do not stand together then we will fall apart, so to say." He returns to his place in the crowd before walking off to lean against the wall alone.
  3. Azel approaches the dead body before others crowd around as an Orc walks away, snickering in an evil manner. Azel stares, remembering every bit of him until his name comes to mind. He stays with Alieu, even as others come and claim her dead but he had already knew that. As they carry her dead body off, Azel sets off on the trail of the Orc, hunting him down to avenge his lost sister.
  4. Azel stands off at the back of the boat with his arms crossed and his coat pulled around him to fight of the sea breeze. His calm and neutral expression would give away none of the inner turmoil he feels watching as Elphie, someone he cared for was getting married. He smiles lightly, happy for the person he has come to know as a sister and he lowers one of his hands to one of his two scimitar before checking the belt for his handmade dagger by his fiancé and three throwing knives. Azel nods to himself, happy he still has his weapons and he can feel the longbow and quiver of arrows on his back. He glances back and forth from the front and the dock to make sure nothing will attack or come unwelcomed. Thoughts of assassins enter his mind and he sighs before looking around all corners of the ship.
  5. Azel approaches one of the notices and ignores all others around him as he fills his out accordingly, making sure not to lie. Choice 1: Ambassador Choice 2 (if applicable): Choice 3 (if applicable): ((MC name)): Drone414 (RP) Name: Azel Bloodseeker/Oussana Race: Elf - Dark Elf Age: 113 Gender: Male Do you have a family, if so how many members will be residing with you: Yes, members are as followed: Wife/Fiance- Angel Children- Drez Flormai and Reshia Bloodseeker ((Please state your time zone)): EST ((Please state your average playing time)): During the week, three to four hours a day, so through Monday and Friday fifteen minimum. For Saturday and Sunday, added up it equals nearly twenty four hours. ((Please state why we can trust you with this job)): Well, even though IC'ly Azel does speak out against others, he is one to be loyal and take his work seriously. When he takes a job, he does it to his utmost full potential. For example when he became a Sentinel, even though he had done so much and deserved more than the peacekeeper position, he worked his way up. Another example, even though Khel did not accept him officialy, Azel has taken up a position as a bodyguard and has run full force into a battle to Evark the Lich (twice) to aid Khel where he could. Also I have never been involved in drama and I have no ban/strike reports. ((Do you use skype?)): Yes... If I am accepted I will PM whoever needs it, but Khel (Baconthief) already has it and I am in the official Malinor chat. ((How long have you been on the server?)): Since June 2012, so nearly six months. ((Why, as a player, do you wish to join the lower council?)): It is not so much as joining the lower council, but more of trying in any way possible to aid in the defense and growth of Malinor. By joining the lower council as an Ambassador, I am able to travel between lands and create peace via word and not via sword. On many occasions Azel has rushed headlong to defend his people, even if it meant the death of himself. IC'ly on one occasion Azel and Evark fought one on one so Khel can survive the confrontation. What nation do you reside in, if any: Malinor and an unclaimed area. Do you hold any allegiances to other nations and or organizations/guilds? If so state them, and their nature: Only Malinor as of now, but in the past I have helped out Oren within to keep the peace. Do you have any work experience, if so where and what: Yes, I am an experienced fisherman, hunter and farmer. On several occasions I have taken my own produce and placed it into the Malinor food chests just to help out where I could. My only other real work experience would be the defense of Malinor via the Sentinels and I am sure Silir (SirSmithers) can vouch for this. Do you have a criminal record, if so state your offenses: No criminal record whatsoever. Why do you feel you are suited for Job Choice 1: I feel that I am suited for job one because unlike others in Malinor, I do not seek out this position for greed, I seek this position to create peace. As a warrior and peacekeeper, my dream is not to fight day after day in never ending wars, but to put an end to the fighting. Picking up the blade was the only way I thought possible at first, but now it seems that by becoming the Ambassador to Malinor, I can and hopefully will be able to promote peace in peaceful environments. On one occasion nearly two years ago Khel told me I was destined for greatness, at first and even now I am not quite sure that this is what he was speaking of, or even if I will ever achieve said greatness, but I am willing to help out where I can. If applicable, why do you feel you are suitable for Job Choice 2: If applicable, why do you feel you are suitable for Job Choice 3: State any comment that you think may aid you in this application here: I am friends with many Mali'ker and Mali'ame... I wish to do the same with the Mali'aheral, but am usually brushed off due to my skin and race. I am hoping that by joining the lower council as the Ambassador, I may be able to form bridges of peace between all of our people and not just outsiders.
  6. -Thinks about posting- -Realizes he is more of a military person and isn't suited for any of these jobs- -Looks at High Council- -Thinks about applying- -Nope-
  7. Azel mumbles to a small, blanketed ball (child) in his hand as he approaches Khel, ignoring everyone else. He stands beside him and sighs heavily. "Peace at last..." He smiles weakly. "Raisa will be able to grow up happily." He cannot stop himself from grinning madly beside his brother and one of his best friends.
  8. Azel approaches the sign in silence, he reads it over multiple times before nodding his head and stepping back allowing others to read it. Many thoughts race through his head on the matter and he realizes that this may in the end prove beneficial if the other Elves put effort into keeping this peace. For once it seems he was right and the other Elves may actually have some respect held down for him, if not he can just go back home to Angel. With a heavy sigh he shrugs and walks off.
  9. Azel shrugs off the boys comment, knowing if he did ever cause harm to Elphie, he will mount his head on his wall. He yawns and follows Nienna, unsure of what to do, already regretting coming to this wedding. "I hope something happens... Maybe like, Angel can show up." He frowns and puts his hands into his pockets.
  10. Azel walks in behind Nienna, with his cloak still (mostly) buttoned and he stares the boy down. His expression darkens as all the ways to kill him comes to his mind if he hurts Elphie in anyway and he smiles a smile full of malice. He quickly wipes it away and returns to his usual, normal expression. "Better not hurt her mate, otherwise I will find you."
  11. Azel steps forward, realizing the people our once again, ever ignorant the threat of Oren. "For us to bring troops forward for war is both good and bad! If Oren sees we are readying for war they will strike and we are not able to defend ourselves as of now! We must put down our weapons and put trust in the High council! For if we do not trust them and raise our weapons without their approval we bring shame to them and Malinor! This raises another question in my eyes though... Why now does House Klaren raise arms? We have been threatened in the past and I have never seen these soldiers? Where were they when the Syndicate and the Flay threatened Malinor?! No where to be found! This is a foolish attempted by House Klaren to gain more power and respect not only within the Mali'ker, but within the rest of Malinor! How long until one of them screams for a seat on the High Council? We have enough of this already thanks to other elves I do not wish to name. I say that we put down arms and wait for orders! For the Klaren only seek glory!" Azel stands tall, uncaring for what others think of his own speech.
  12. "I would honestly like to have you back from your vacation, but I am not going to ask you, you deserve it after all." Azel smiles weakly and leans back up against the wall subconsciously, before standing straight once more and wiping anything that could have gotten off of his coat with his free hand.
  13. Azel sighs and nods. "I do not mean any offense to you, but why come at all if you are so scared of being caught? If you cared at all for her you'd stand proud, shout out to the world that you are coming to this wedding. I blew off a night in bed with my fiancé to come here for Elphaba. I may not like this Daylen creature, but I sure as hell am going to be here and enjoy myself. I'd suggest you do the same, otherwise this night will be very, very bad." Azel turns back to the door and knocks once more. He holds a dozen roses in his hand and a small sack of around one hundred minas in the same hand. He looks down and frowns, hoping these will be good enough gifts for the two getting married.
  14. Azel walks up beside her, his face a mask of anger even though on the inside he is happy for Elphaba, for being able to find happiness in such an evil realm. He crosses his arms and leans against the wall beside the door next to Nienna. He studies her, unsure what to make of her or how she feels about this but he shrugs it all away, not even caring at this point. Azel slips his invitation out of his coat pocket and stares at it before returning it to his pocket and buttoning up is coat all the way. Without meaning to, he mutters something and tucks his coat into his pants and tightens his belt. After realizing this was rather uncomfortable, he decided to unbutton the top two buttons and after doing so, Azel smiles. He turns to Nienna once more. "It seems you were also invited to this literal gathering, not only that but you attended. Not worried about any of your Mali'aheral catching you here?" Azel smiles, meaning all this as a joke before bowing lowly. "You look beautiful this evening Lady Calm." Azel straightens himself and dusts away dried blood from his coat before knocking on the door weakly, making sure that they heard the knock.
  15. Azel sighs as he hears him speak, realizing he is ever ignorant and he scurries deep into the district to meditate on his future. Unsure of how he should handle himself from now on and how he can continue to help Malinor when few want him. Azel decides its time to leave for good and to say his farewells before he takes off. He continues his meditation.
  16. Azel turns around when he hears Khel speak. "That all may be true! But you agree to others stepping up to take position on the council so easily! I do not understand why we do not have two or one representative from each district, making it equal in number and in power. Why must others like Rina scream for power and you accept when your close friend has tried so hard to make you happy and help?!" Azel storms off down the stairs, angry at himself.
  17. Azel returns to the surface, searching for Khel. He sighs as he sees Rina and Orym just finished a small conversation on the subject and Azel knows full well he cannot change the mind of the ignorant. With a quiet and quick step, he walks through Malinor, searching for Khel to find the method of this madness. Unsure of what to fully make of this development, he knows one thing. That the council needs to look upon the other citizens of Malinor, citizens who have done for Malinor and deserve the position of High Council then a wanderer who comes around rarely, and now only for a chance at power. All the respect Azel had built up for rina slowly drips away, as sand would through a broken hourglass. Azel shakes his head slowly.
  18. Azel realizes what he said was ignored and he already can see others reaching forward to grasp for power through his minds eye. With a sigh, Azel turns and leaves, heading down to the Mali'ker distract to be alone. "Another peaceful council member... Something we do not need. Hell, the two who claim to be warriors cannot even handle a war properly... Quite a clever way to gain power Kameki... Clever indeed to mask it with innocence." Azel laughs to himself as he enters into the farthest and deepest reaches of the district to meditate on the current situation.
  19. Azel as usual listens in quiet and sighs, he steps forward to speak to the large crowds. "These two Elves did not step down due to weakness, they stepped down because of the greed of the other Council members. It is not the time for Elves to throw ourselves forward for power, we must unite as a people and help one another where we can. If we all decide it is time to step forward for power, than we will only be more divided, by both greed and by our kind. It is time the Council does something instead of standing around and shouting to the heavens their past glories! It is time that something is done about this situation, not past events! If you so easily shout about becoming a Council member, than I could be one! Nienna Calm, Arzota, Alieu! They could all be council members, for they all are members of Malinor and they have proven themselves as valuable to our people before! Hell, even the ignorant Kalenz has shown this!" Azel steps down, satisfied with what he said and he walks over to Arzota, noticing he is in the thick of the crowd he pushes his way to him. "Will you ever become a Prince?" Azel whispers to him in question.
  20. Azel stands away from the crowd and listens to her speech and the others reactions with a nodding head. Deciding it was time to give his own opinion out, he does so. "Finally someone else and others have noted how weak the Elves are. Unless we are able to come together and defend ourselves, or move to another location, we will continue our weak and pitiful existence, fading into nothingness as we are eventually destroyed. It is time the High Council takes charge and makes plans to flee or bring us together. I must speak of your speech as well. I agree with everything you are saying and very rarely do the races mingle peacefully. Unless something is done, there will be no chance to mingle at all." With his bit out there, Azel decides to slink back into his corner.
  21. Azel, after clapping for Bravepaw looks up as his brother comes out with his own announcement. Azel frowns after hearing this too, saddened by the fact two of the three Princes he holds above all else have stepped down due to the greed of the other High Council members. "All that remains now is High elves and Khel..." He mutters under his breath, saddened by the outcome. Azel turns to Orlanden and claps for him as well. "The two strongest and most caring High Council members fall in the eyes of our people because of the greed of the other council members!" HE shouts, not caring who hears him. "I will stand with the two who deserve the most respect, live on Bravepaw and Orlanden!" Azel shouts, making sure it is heard by those around him.
  22. Azel listens to Bravepaw, feeling slightly bad for the Elf who lost power due to the greed of the other members of the Council. He sighs and at the end of his speech, Azel brings his hands together and claps for Bravepaw. He cares little how the others respond, but he feels this is his way to show the ex High Prince how he felt about his situation and the respect he felt for him. "A strong High Prince..." Azel mutters under his breath as he continues to clap.
  23. Wha? I am confuzzled... I never said that there is a set personality, I said the personality can go either way. Next, no, my character is a guy... So no one had his kid. I was just hoping that someone would be able to Rp my child... I mean, I don't want to sound like a child, but out of all the people who are Elves and have a kid on the server, this one is targeted.. I am asking if anyone wants to play it. If no one steps up than we will just lose the kid to some kind of birth problem. Though, I have Rp'd two children, one of them being for Grey and Ionmaster... If that is what you meant.
  24. Server just fail, or was it me?
