I agree with this 100%, most races now are becoming to influenced by modern times ethics(Such as people caring if a peasant is killed, that would not have happened in medieval times) and with races being effected with human ideas and morals.

A bird lands on Ser Peter Chivay's shoulder with a scroll in mouth to which he takes the scroll out and begins to read it upon opening "Good Ser Peter Chivay, Baron of Rivia, this letter is in regards to joining of the honorable Order of the White Rose. I, Turi Marsala, would like further information on how I may join the Order. Please send a bird if you will help me with this." The letter is signed with the signature of Turi Marsala

As you walk near the Cloud Temple docks, you look over near the Elven boats and notice a few bodies laying on the ground. You walk over to investigate the scene as a few monks come to carry off one of the bodies. "One, two, heave!," the monks grunt as they hoist the man in armor onto a cart, "Alright, let's get this one back to health, I'm sure his father would like to see him again." The other monks nod and begin to pull the cart away, you see the sigil of House Tarus on his chest-plate. While walking closer to the area, you notice another body with slashes across its chest and face. Gold and other objects lay around the body, showing that it had been looted. As you walk closer to the body, you notice a trail of blood on the docks, leading to the water. You follow the trail to where you peak over the side, to where a body without any skin on it floats in the water. Shocked by the sight, you begin to back up from the fence that prevents you from falling into the water to where your foot drags against something on the ground. You move your foot to see what it is; a coin with blood on it. You bend over to pick the coin up, noticing that other coins lay around with blood on all of them as well, you ponder the meaning of this as you clean the blood off of the coin. ((Just would like to say that it was fun RP even if my character was disgusted by the whole thing ^.^ ))

Horatio walks down the hall of the black keep towards the throne room, admiring the architecture of it as he has never seen such before. As he enters the Throne Room, he approaches the Scribe, who asks him his name. "Horatio Burns." The Scribe asks him if he is of any nobility, to which Horatio replies he is not. The Scribe motions for Horatio to wait while the Emperor finishes talking to the men before him, he goes to take a seat within the Throne room, far away from the others as he waits his turn. Time pasts, to where the Scribe comes over to wake him up, startling Horatio. The Scribe chuckles, then informs him that it is his turn. Horatio nods and gets up from his seat, then begins to walk to where the Emperor is seated. Horatio bows, then begins to speak, "Emperor Godfrey, I have, but a humble request for thy. Since I've been a little boy, it has been my desire to become a noble within the Holy Oren Empire. I've seen the respect that they have received, and I have craved it for many years of hard work and labor within the Empire. It has also been a desire of mine to return to the Empire, as it has given me so much. To accomplish this, I ask for the title of Baron, nothing more, nothing less. This leads me to my question, of if I may purchase a barony from Your Majesty, and how much it might cost?" Horatio then pauses, awaiting the Emperors response

* As you walk the streets of Arethor, you take notice of a seemingly peasant like poster strung up to a notice board within the city walls. You approach the notice, then begin to read it * "Citizens of Arethor! I, Horatio Burns, am looking for work within the Holy Oren Empire! I am not very skilled in farming, but am willing to take work as a farmer. I can not wield a blade like a master, but I sure can use one as a typical bannerman. Any work is good for me, so long as thy provide me with food and shelter, my heart will be content.
