  1. Your forum avatar is one of the greatest things I have ever seen. :O

  2. Ac3 tomorrow anyone else getting it?

  3. I submitted a modreq already but anyways, I donated and haven't received vip status yet.

    1. shiftnative

      shiftnative

Checking on this for ya, sorry for the wait ~

  4. I haven't had any experience with the old system, but to me only having one or a small amount of locations seems best. I think a big part of rp is realistic journeys through mountains, valleys, towns ect. If people could teleport anywhere they wanted then small encounters on the road and staying in an inn would not happen.
  5. What happened? They should post an update or something
  6. Could it be? asulon?

    1. ImpinAintEZ

      ImpinAintEZ

  10. Yea, its my minecraft name because the correctly spelled version was taken.

  11. You're aware of the fact you misspelt Altaïr in your name, right?

  12. Out-Of-Character Details Minecraft Account Name:Ezio_Altiar How old are you?:16 Time-Zone/Country of Residence:Mountain Time/United States Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language?:Yes, I do have a good grip on English grammar. Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?:Yes, on "garrys mod" I play on a hardcore roleplay server very similar to this. I also used to own a server dedicated to roleplay. Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?:Yes. How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?:I was searching for a good fantasy roleplay server, and a yahoo answers link took me here. Link any previous applications you have made to the Lord of the Craft:None. Have you posted this application on Minecraft Forum? If not, post it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r-100-unique-gameplay/! : Definitions In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:Creating, developing, and being a character that lives in the world and follows the lore of the server realistically. Roleplaying is not about getting the best items, or being the king. It is about being the character that is fun for others to interact with. In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:Meta-gaming is the use of outside knowledge in game that your character would not have known. An example would be if someone on skype told you they were killed and gave you the location to go and get revenge. You would not have know this by in game roleplay methods and cannot act using that information. In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:Power-emoting is abusing the use of /me and other emote commands or using them in a way that is unfair to other players. An example would be doing an action such as /me kills you. This is unfair and does not make for good roleplaying as it ends the situation and does not allow the other player a chance to counter the action. In-Character Details Character Name:Arathor Vor'toro Character Race:Human Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Arathor was born in Ager, in the Holy Oren Empire. His father was an Oren Guard and his mother stated at home. Both his parents died when a man tried to rob them and they were killed. He was only 12 when this happened and he was adopted by a farmer. He would live on the farm learning to appreciate simple things in life and know nothing of greed and hate. He also obtained hunting and survival skills as he lived isolated from any cities. Arathor left the farm in search of a greater purpose in life when he was 20. He is currently 30 years old, 6'4, has brown shoulder length hair, hazel eyes, and has a thin body, being quite agile. Being a southerner, Arathor has a dark natural skin tan. Today, Arathor drifts from town to town, longing for a purpose, and still seeking justice for what happened to his parents. What are your characters ambitions?:To find a purpose in life, and to be at peace with losing his parents, whether that be through revenge or moving on. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:http://imgur.com/Sx7r4 Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:Arathor has strong leadership qualities and a strong will to do good. He will always help those in need and is always in search of a greater purpose. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I walk up to the shop-keeper and examine his wares. I do not have a particular interest in any of them, nor do the prices seem fair. Feeling pity for the dwarf, I purchase a few of the less expensive items simply to do a good deed but as I talk to him, I realize that he and I are similar. He is an honest dwarf trying to make his way in the world. I spare him more money than I should and walk away. I turn my head back to see him smiling and I know that I have made his day, and realize that he has made mine as well. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I walk up to the two, hoping to solve the problem peacefully using my words as I am no great warrior. I ask what the problem is and the orc tells me that I didn't see anything and I should just walk away. I stay where I am, telling the orc that I'm not going anywhere until he leaves the dwarf alone. He turns toward me with his weapon drawn, forgetting about the dwarf. I motion for the dwarf to run and he slips away. Still wishing to avoid violence I offer the orc money and items. He continues walking towards me and I take out a large amount of money. He stops and focuses his attention on the money in my hand. I tell him its his if he just forgets about this night and goes home to his bed. The orc thinks it over as I tell him its not worth it to get into trouble tonight, he should go rest instead. The orc comes to the conclusion that I am right and takes the money from me. He turns his back on me and walks down the road. The dwarf is long gone by now and has evaded being attacked. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I look at the coins on the ground, the temptation of taking them for myself slips into my mind then slips out just as easily. I remember how honorable my father was and how I was taught by the farmers who adopted me to be a good person. I pick up the coins and extend my hand to the old man to help him up. He takes my hand and when he is back on his feet I hand him the coins. He looks at me and thanks me for returning the coins. I tell him that he does not need to thank me and that I am happy to do the right thing.
