Nuu.. I personally don't think that the applications should be shortened anymore than they already are.. Honestly I think they're to short as it already is.. When I first applied here, on LotC, I was intimidated, yes, but I also was following the so-called title of Knowing Lord of the Craft as a great, SERIOUS roleplay server had me stoked to join, and it make me work so much harder on my app than I had for past servers. I spent day after day typing my backstory and the answers to my ORQs. I have to admit I was a bit upset when the ORQs were removed and also as the Application Team got more and more lenient. Daily, I see trolls everywhere, in every nation, or I see someone who is having a terrible time roleplaying; whether it be their grammar, or just laziness in general.. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid or rambling, but I really don't want the applications to be shortened...

And I do know the standards for the applications, though some that I do not agree with, but either way... I know and accept them. Why you want to be an AT member?: I don't know why, but I've always wanted to be a part of the app team. I suppose it could be simply the thought of helping out new players and contributing to the community, but also that feeling of control you have when looking at the fate of someone's server career on a screen before you. On another note, I love to read and I also love giving advice to push someone that little bit harder that they open their mind and rethink most things. Helping people is somewhat of a passion of mine and that's what I think the Application Team will help me do.. Moreso than any other staff position. Some more info.. I've applied for the Application Team before, and it was actually right before the applications were removed... I wish to help the community more than anything and I already read applications without being on the application team.. Just yesterday, a mixture of races came together on TeamSpeak to be creative and sings songs about happiness and fun... But really, we were just bored and began singing, others played instruments and only a total of five really sang... BUT ON ANOTHER NOTE.. Heh, get it? Note.... .. It was a ton of fun and we'd like to have another soon, and hopefully you can join us next time. I managed to record some of the later performances, after I actually thought that sharing this with the community would be a nice thing to do.
