        In pursuit of ever greater and continuing prosperity of the Kingdom, the Royal Bank of Númendil does hereby grant this letter of certification to the Alkayaban Company, hereafter referred to as ‘the Guild’, under the stewardship of the Honorable Mazra et-Sûhalar. Herein are dictated those rights to be afforded to the Guild and its members, as well as its duties and responsibilities to the Crown.

     

    I. The Guild shall be hereafter granted access to those industries and facilities operated by the Beneficiary, for the purposes of fulfilling its obligations.

     

    II. The Guild shall have full authority over the hiring and dismissal of personnel, and likewise shall assume full responsibility for its own accounting and all salaries paid to said personnel.

     

    III. The Guild shall pay an annual chartering fee of one-hundred minas to the Beneficiary, and fulfill its annual quota of required materiel. All other profits shall be maintained for expenses incurred by the Guild. 


    IV. The Guild shall, in a timely fashion, fulfill any and all contracts with which the Beneficiary presents it. Otherwise, the Guild may contract with whomever it so chooses, provided such actions are not counter to Royal interests.

    Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

    Overview         

    Marked as Templars of the Aengul Malchediael, folks with this magic are a more melee type of magic user who value honor and strive for glory. As one of the "holy" magics, templars use their blessings to hunt darkspawn with dark CA affecting abilities and trophies of certain other CAs being a later part of the magic.

     

    Progression & Abilities
    Starting by being initially imbued with Malchediael's light by a templar teacher, the new templar will find themselves extremely weak for a time (about a week) before they regain their strength and progress through the rest of the tiers of the magic via lessons and irl time. In doing so, they'll unlock a number of different abilities from the combat side of things to blind (burst body), protect (bulwark), and go on the attack (vig blow). On the less combative side, things like enthralling recount, trophies (though also kinda combat depending on CA), and bonfires bring a more mythical, story aspect to the magic through retellings of great deeds and interesting, functional artifacts. These abilities are coupled with the templar taking on some of the aspects of the Aengul himself (through bold and brash mainly but it's a general theme for the magic), finding themselves more inclined to meet challenges with honor and fervor, feeling off should they shy away from them. Even disconnection involves a degree of honor and directness with a straight up duel deciding the outcome.

    Burst Body

     

    Ser Alwyn plants his feet, bending his knees and lowering his form into a braced position as he begins to focus on his inner courage. As he concentrates, small shafts of radiant white light begin to peak out from gaps between the plates of his armor and he closes his eyes. [1/2]

     

    [!] After a beat, the light shining out from the knight's plates bursts outwards in a blinding flash of radiant light. Those within 10 meters of him who had failed to avert their gaze would be blinded by the flash, the sound of the fight around them growing muffled. [2/2]

    Bound Armament

     

    Ser Alwyn stood in the courtyard beside his son, his hand pulling the crystalline warhammer from his belt as he began to speak. At his touch, a soft radiant glow would surround the implement. "Alright, for this next one I want ye t' take out yer axe. Now that ye're strong enough an' learned enough, ye'll find it becomes bound t' ye. See th' glow? Through th' Archangel's blessin' it'll take on all th' good darkspawn-killin' properties that we know an' love from aurum."

     

    Ser Alwyn stands off to the side of his son, watching as he'd repeat his father's actions. After letting him marvel at the glow of the weapon for a moment or two, he'd look to the other side of the courtyard, tossing his hammer with a long, underhanded throw where it landed with a thud about 6 meters away. "Yours as well." He'd give a nod to his son, expecting him to do the same.

     

    Ser Alwyn looks to his hammer where it lay beside his son's axe, beginning to focus on his inner courage as he spoke aloud what he was intending. "Ye'll find it truly is bound t' ye." He'd gesture out again to the weapon, extending his palm to it as it shook slightly in the dirt. "Reach out t' it. Focus as ye've focused before an' will it back t' yer hand." [1/2]

     

    Ser Alwyn holds his hand wide as the hammer jumps from the ground, sailing through the air and landing back in his hand where it once more takes on the soft, radiant glow at his touch. His gaze would turn to his son, watching and nodding with approval as he repeated Alwyn's weapon summoning with his axe. "Well done, lad." [2/2]

     

     

    Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

             

    If it's during, it should be an easy correction in dms or vc to say "that's going a bit further than the spell can actually go" and maybe clarifying on whatever was confusing. If it was after the fact, I'm more than happy to circle back to something and reteach in the same manner. Obviously anything more than that or with repetitive issues and it'd be time to bring some st in to help clarify.
