  2. Hallo Khuzdul. Welcome to de dwarves!

  3. Guten Tag Ulric!

  4. Nice nice, welcome to the dwarves mayn.

  5. The inflation will not be a problem at all if the stats plugin is put back into the server. Not everyone is going to be able to hunt mobs then because they need to specialize in something else like farming or ^ mining. You will still make money just the same. Killing mobs should only give you like 3 to 4 Minas so even without the stats update, you are going to need to kill a heck of a lot of mobs to become rich. Creating your trade will be more profitable because food is always a demand. If people had infinite money but no food then it would matter to have infinite money thus people will need to mine or farm or be a merchant and sell things back an forth. Ulric
  6. Yippee! Money dropping again I can hunt now for money! Thanks a lot. You guys should definity add the stat system again. It was so much fun because it forced everyone to increase Role Playing. I believe 100% in this plugin. But I will be happy to see the mobs with money  Ulric
  7. Thank you for the post. This clarifies a lot about halfbreeds and is very helpful! Ulric

In-Character Details Character Name: Ulric Balik Character Race: Dwarf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Ulric was born on top of a lonely Aulson mountain. Ulric’s father, Arngrim Balik, once was mighty warrior. Arngrim was known to be a brutal fighter in combat. He tore limbs of his prey. Taking all the limbs, he placed them within a large basket. The heads would be stacked on a spear, and then of course, they would be sent to back to the homelands of the enemy. The orcs would be sent to the war nation of The War Uzg. A great battle between the orcs and the drawfs took place. Arngrim fought and fought, slaying several orcs, but because of the orcs extreme strength, Arngrim took devastating blows causing horrific wounds. With the will to live on, Arngrim fought till his leg was hit by an arrow. This wound disabled his left leg until further repair could be down. He hobbled back into cover. After several hours of battle, blood, guts, and death, he dared to look upon the battlefield only to see the last of the legion of dwarfs including his best friend Kalr surrender to the overpowering orc army. The worst was yet to come when Arngrim watched in despair his friends being executed. Arngrim enraged by the killing of his friends, began to head back Karik. After winter passed, Arngrim healed. Still with a noticeable limp, he was disbanded from the legion. Anger flowed through his veins so ferociously that he was about to blow with rage on his wife. Knowing he would have guilt if he had down so, Arngrim decided to go for a quick vocation to Kal’Dwain where his father’s father use to live. While walking he came upon an elven family. The father looked poor farmer, he had little strength within him. The elf was with a wife and two young children. Driven from his over controlling rage, Arngrim slaughtered the defenseless family. This incident caused even more tension between the nations of the elves and the nation of the dwarves. With the legion low in moral from the last battle, the dwarves (although they wanted to) could not face another battle and possibly war. The city Karik and the nation Kal’Karik exiled Arngrim to live far away from other dwarves. The father had to take refuge from the mass ciaos and settled up on the top of a lonely mountain near Kal’Dwain. There he and his wife had a child named Ulric Ulric was a lonesome child. He grew up with only his bitter and abusive father and his intelligent, loving mother. Because he lived high up in the mountains, he never developed any source of communication skills. The advantage he did have, however, was the extreme temperatures and high altitude caused him to have an incredible endurance when he would secretly sneak down the mountain and explore. His speed may not be the fastest ever, but he could easily hold the same speed for a long period of time. The home was built out of stone. But when needing repair or coal mining would get the job done. With coal, they were able smelt new tools and create magnificent artifacts. Lumberjacking was also necessary to have skills in to be able to keep a warm fire. Ulric was taught by his mother means on how to handle Minas. Ulric was able not only have all these skills, but the brains of his mother. His father would beat Ulric every time Ulric did something not to his liking. Over the seasons this regular beating became life for Ulric. This caused him to be extremely tough in battle and blind to pain. Like his father, the will to live on flows through his very veins. Ulric is a young dwarf (age 87) grew a long, brown beard at an early age. His bright blue eyes are sensitive to bright light, but make him see better at night. It is said through legend, that some have seen a dwarf young but not at all small. He is a foot taller than the average dwarf with muscles that rip out of his skin. They say that Ulric has a retched greed with Minas on the day he saw them for the first time… One day, while wandering the mountain, Ulric came across a man frozen to death. Within his pocket, Ulric found a sack of Minas. Ulric, never seeing minas before, took the money and instantly lusted to have more. Heading home to show his father and mother his discovery, he had decided that he was to have a quest for Minas. When his parents heard the news of the money and his wishes with his life, they decided to prepare him for his journey throughout Asulan. Ulric and his father were able to bond finally as Arngrim taught Ulric how to wield a sword and an axe. They forged his very own sword and crafted his special armor. The armor is not like any other kind of armor because it has Minas melted on it showing he will be a rich Dwarf some day. Ulric said his goodbyes to his father and mother, who where eager for him to leave in time to arrive in Karik in time for the Feast of Spring, and began his journey to make a fortune, crafty merchant, and of course warrior for his people. What are your characters ambitions?: Ulric will soon find out he will like to drink a lot. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:Ulric is unknown to most people, so he has no story to be told yet. With his horrible greed for money, may cause him to enter the thieving/bandit business. Depends on how well he does in marketing. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? As passing by, I would see a fellow dwarf in the same business as myself. Although he may be my competition, I would wonder up to the dwarf and wonder his goods. I would greet him as a friend and purchase an item for more than what it would cost normally from him. I would ask “how is your business doing.” Then, I would offer a partnership between the two of us to help both of us make more money. If he declines I shall say my goodbyes but still advertise for the poor man. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? My character would simply walk by the poor dwarf and the orc pretending to mind my own business, but then once behind the orc I would turn around and shout at him “what is the problem hear” and wait for response to hear both scenarios then I would shout drawing out my sword “Im’e warning yeh to let him be or be slain yeh continues to harass a fellow dwarf.”If he continues to back talk me or the other dwarf then I would attempt to slay the orc. For my life is not any greater than the poor dwarf, and will gladly be risked to help the poor man. If he would stop, then I would stay with the fellow dwarf and help him get to his destination safely. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls door when, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?: With my horrible greed I would rush past the man swiping his bag of Minas. I would add the money to my large stock pile but feel guilt for what I have done. I would return to the old man. Since he cannot walk, I would carry him to the nearest town. Once he is at the town, I would find lodges to have him spend the night. I would pay for his room and pay the old man back the money I stole. When the old man wakes up the next morning he would find a brand new walking stick at the foot of his bed.
