"Apologies for the misinterpretation of the word.
I have yet to have a discussion with anyone, considering the current state of affairs, I was advised that it is most unwise to speak with the other contenders for the crown.
No, I do not want full authority. I believe you are misinterpreting what I wrote as I misinterpreted the word 'Grand' but I do not hold it against you. I was simply explaining that the Thane's still hold the power to veto my decisions, regardless of how powerful I may seem to be. I am always, and shall always be, accountable to both the council and the populace.
Yes, 75% or more of the populace for removal which is less than what it is now. Currently four of the five thanes must vote for it, which is 80% and I am just moving it towards the populace, instead of the Thanes.
Decreasing their power, does not remove them completely.
No, I do not want to give myself supreme and complete authority. These were ideas and aims that I believed the populace would want, nothing for my personal gain. I am a little upset that responses are involving insults and attempting to belittle me, but I cannot be surprised as the suggestions I have put up there do seem quite rash and extreme.
A tyrant is not someone with the power, but someone who uses the power tyrannically. Having the power, does not mean that the person with said power is a tyrant. That being said, I do appreciate the feedback and am now taking steps as to change my Manifesto.
I truly appreciate all the passion you have put into your questions, and the scrutiny that you've put this under. In the end, it will assist me and in turn, the Kingdom.
Thank you."
