____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Edward is walking down the streets of Abresi when he notices a dark robes figure moving suspiciously on the road to the palace. Concerned, Edward follows at a cautious distance, observing the man from afar. The man turns down an alley and Edward follows, peering around the edge, he sees the figure purchase a wicked looking blade from a shady tradesman. Alarmed at this action, Edward draws his longsword and slowly approaches the men. The stranger turns and, seeing the blade, backs up carefully. Edward calls out in a warning tone "You better not plan on using that on someone...". The man lets out a scathing insult and exits the alley, continuing to move to the palace. Edward follows the man and pushes him roughly. "I said, go back to where you came from." The robed figure spits at Edward's face, saying "You may be acting all tough now, but what has begun cannot be stopped.". The man turns and heads back to the city, leaving Edward puzzling in the middle of the road.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: Edward is riding with a friend to meet two women at a roadside tavern. The men laugh and joke on their ride, the mood is light and free. As they pass through an oak forest, they hear a cry for help. Dismounting a ways away, Edward approaches a large clearing in which an old man can be plainly seen, harassed by two heavily armed bandits. Edward hisses for his friend to come and draw his blade quietly. The two men silently approach the bandits from behind and engage them in a short lived combat which ends with the bandits being knocked unconscious. After disarming the robbers and binding them, Edward and his friend bid good day to the old man and head back to their horses.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Edward approaches the stall with a bright smile. "Good day sir, what can I do you for?" the merchant says, chuckling lightly. "A bouquet of roses will do nicely, thank you." Edward replies. The trader turns and selects six bright red roses, placing them in a clay vase filled with water. "Twenty minas!" the man says to Edward. Edward lets out a long low whistle and pulls out 15 coins. "Ten, and I'll give you a hug." he jokes to the salesman. The man lets out a hearty laugh and says "You seem like a good man, fifteen and you can brag to the little lady about how much trouble you went through for her." Edward nods and hands the man 15 minas, bending down to embrace the man in a comical hug. Then, taking the vase, Edward waves to the man and sets out on his way, whistling a tune.
