I have roleplayed on Minecraft and on other functions. It is something I have always enjoyed doing. Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Yes. Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - No How did you hear about us?: - I heard about LoTC when I was talking to a group of my friends. They mentioned Lord of the Craft and when I learned more about it, I concluded that I would be making an application for it. What do you think the server will be like? - I think the server will be something very entertaining. It was broaden my roleplay experience in the sense that it can be a tad bit magical this time around. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Indeed I have. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - My favorite rule is the perma-death rule. I think the perma-death system makes a lot of sense for what this server is. It's a great system of making sure that player's dreams aren't crushed via their character being killed and never having the ability to return. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is when you create a character with it's own unique aspects and personality. After setting up the character in question, you may hop onto wherever you created this character for and then play that character's role in the world, doing things that the character would do based on it's personality, hence the term "Roleplay" What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is simply when you use OOC information ICly. This means that you could know information because someone told you on Skype, but unless that information was required by roleplay means, then your character does not know the information and you may not use it. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when you do not give the opposite party a chance to respond. It is mostly seen in combat situations more than anything. Powergaming can also be writing in the past tense during a certain situation, such as saying "Timmy punched John in the nose" In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Rudd Vex What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human > Adunian What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 20 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Rudd Vex had a childhood when he was pretty much by himself. He was living off of any possible means, although he never really did anything violent or destructive although he was definitely strong and powerful. When Rudd was only nine years old, his mother was murdered right in front of him. The man who murdered his mother appeared a lot like his father, Logan Vex. That man claimed to be Rudd's father, but Rudd knew better than to believe this man. For his entire childhood, all he wished for was that man's death. He planned and he planned and he planned. He was insane at this point; taken over by a demented side of his own self which he now calls Stripe Vex. Stripe was just about ready to grab the false Logan and impale a blade of any sword into his heart. That was all until the false Logan died of old age. Rudd took a medallion that his actual father always carried around, the medallion having nothing in it but the silhouette of a tiger. What are they like (personality)?: - Rudd befriends most people. He knows that enemies are a bad thing to make and if he has them, he keeps his hatred for them a secret; they'll be dealt with later. Rudd usually works behind the scenes, never wanting himself to get his hands dirty in any situation. He will always work for whatever side will benefit him the most, either morally or physically. Aside from that, Rudd is an all-around great person to have as a friend and he will likely prove useful if you need something. What are their ambitions?: - Rudd enjoys spars as he likes to show off his strength. Even if he loses, which he knows is a surefire possiblity, he can leave the spar knowing that he fought the best he could Do they have any special skills?: - Rudd's special skill is the uncanny ability of being very powerful but also very fast and sneaky. What are their weaknesses?: - Rudd's weakness is simply close friends and family. Rudd will go to any lengths to protect those who are close to him, even if it means risking his own life for them. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Rudd is 5'9 and he weighs 140 pounds in order for him to move swiftly. His hair is a dark brown and medium in length. It flows smoothly and is a very lush bush of hair. His eyes are a deep green that you can easily find yourself frolicking through. He has a very smooth stubble when his face is unkempt, which Rudd usually assures that it's kept. Strong, defined, and chiseled jawline. Anything else you want to say about them?: - Rudd has an accent that would remind you of a scottish man. It isn't very deep or very exaggerated but you can hear the slight tone of scottish in it. On many occasions, Rudd will pronounce certain words in a very accented way. Rudd is, in fact, a Northerner.
