  3. Said here - https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/109168-40-update-3/ WHat's the point of having a pillar that is supposed to protect the land if you can still be warclaimed by bigger bullies?
  4. Open up slots..

      Porko

Yep. It'll be impossible to get on for like 3 days with only 300 slots. Make 350 or 400

  5. Get those nasty PvP buffs out of here mon. You are supposed to pick a race after how you want to write your story, not about the race that has the best stats for me(Thats what you do in wow and other MMORPG's)..neither should the tech team promote conflict. There should not be any buffs/nerfs to races when it comes to combat, movement or anything like that. Professions is ok but other than that it will be a bother and will cause tension between groups..just stop with MMORPG road. Tis an RP servah..tis a rvse. FTB plugin was a funny joke, should stay that way.
  6. Make soldiers an actual profession tho, makes nations having to balance between workers and soldiers. YOu either spend your time as a farmer or you join the army full time, simple.
  7. Going to hop on the bandwagon. No to PvP buffs.
  8. Question: What civilization type is the earth currently?

      lol Post-modern?

  9. As long as the buffs are utility and not PvP..really do not need PvP buffs for anyone as things are supposed to be RPed out right?
  10. Ahh well I took half-one heart as a safe zone, cause obviously it shouldn't be more than that should it?
  11. Exactly what I am rambling about, shouldn't have something as a "Magic build"..Thank you! Melee combat is different from magic, I wouldn't have anyone have magic perks but hey..tis lore right? u.u
  12. Yeah, but when one race get's pretty much 4 magical benefits it's..sorry but..it's pretty F*** dumb yo. Sure lore, but take balance in consideration, we are here to have fun not to compete and see what race can do what I want to do best. Here to RP who I want to be. Well this battles the "lore" since elves are not physically strong are they? And that extra heart helps against melee, that's really powerful. Really need to stop underestimating the power that small changes have! There is not even need for the magic passive, all it does it to rustle peoples jimmies and make things unbalanced. Stahp.
  13. So? A lot of people revolve around magic. The issue is that magic is going to be something many want. Stop ignoring the roleplay guidelines that were made. A lot of people will look at the charter and say, "Hm if I want to be a mage I should pick X", which is so wrong. So so wrong. A melee PvP buff is not the same as a magic PvP buff. Cause with the magic you won't be hit constantly as there is room for dodging, health regen and positioning. The slightest modifier will automatically put high elven at advantage, before its even started. Not everyone is suited for high elven roleplay but I am sure that no one should be forced to feel that they are losing something if they were to not pick high elf as the mage characters race. And by saying "The high elves, without a doubt, revolve around magic more than any other large playerbase on LotC.".....what about the stray elves, the guild mages, those that practice magic a lot, they are ran over by this. Magic is not a racial thing, not how magic works. You learn magic. An explaination as to why high elves got so many perks around magic please, really puts me off personally to know that by default on this RP server someone else will always be stronger. And I can not do anything at all against it. No race is perfect so why in heavens are they so buffed. Ticks a lot of people off to be sat on like this.
  14. (( "Homosexual" was not used until around late 1800th century, please my immersion. :') )) As Anne hears news of this, she can't help to feel a slight feeling of both sadness and joy. Joy that they want freedom, sadness because of the blood that will follow from the events to surely come. "Hm, creator let this be solved peacefully."
  15. But role-play guide lines states that no one can be born with magic, that's applies when someone applies and overall. Magic is such a delicate thing and should not have one race be better at it. Just cause the lore says so and that some good bits where taken into it. And like what someone wrote (TTwesten?)) it is not how magic works. As long as this..buff doesn't give PvP bonus it is good, otherwise it is simply unfair. Sure they can have a good view on magic but not BE magic from the start. Not fair for the other races or anyone that wants magic and especially new players that is really keen on having magic or something special to feel that they progress only to look at the race charter and see ohh I will make X race then cause they are better at magic, even if they perhaps wanted to play X race instead. It's the basics of how games work, duh! Hopefully this passive is not going to mean that this race takes less damage from magic or such, even the slightest of resistance makes change in Minecraft with a lot of factors taken in consideration. Half a heart is half a heart and is the difference between life and death. Not okay!
  16. My point seems to just be ignored. No one wants to answer it?
  17. High as a kite and rising.

  18. Going to bump what I said, really would like an answer to this. As for the humans not getting a PvP buff, the other races doesn't get a player amount buff got to try keep it fair in a sense to compensate for the player difference. A city might have twenty players, but that doesn't mean RPly speaking that the city only has twenty residents. It's just a hidden thing that is just there. Humans will be fine obviously.
  19. So how can high elves be attuned to magic as a racial trait and exposed to it? What am I missing here? Or is this what I just said irrelevant cause to me to feels like this is the case, that high elves are born with a connection to magic.
  20. High elves really feels a bit overpowered, bonus in both alchemy and enchanting. And their weakness is to not being as good in chopping wood and leather..Nah yo? Also awesome job on the auto age for humans, that is awesome and it gives a powerful buff too!
