Hello support staff, My application was accepted and I was apparently implemented/whitelisted yesterday evening but alas to my disappointment I have logged on to the server this morning to find that I am still a 'Wandering Soul'. I would appreciate if a member of staff could take a look at this promptly as I wish to start roleplaying as soon as possible. If there is any specified reason for this, may I please have an explanation? Thank you for your time and I hope to see myself in the server very soon. It's me. Hey, I'm Acerius but you can address me by Acer/Ace; if you are so inclined, you may even address me by my real name, Joseph (not Joe). I'm thirteen years old and have been in the roleplaying scene for a few years now and I'd like to consider myself average or slightly above that for a serious roleplayer. I come from England, which is where all the cool people live. I don't have a lot to say in this application apart from that, though you may notice that my English is absolutely amazing. Feel free to drop your jaw and stare wide-eyed at my massive application which is very sexy indeed. Feel free to read through it and hit me up some suggestions, as I'm pretty open to taking those. Before you ask, it took me two-three hours to write that all up, My fingers and wrists hurt from smacking my keyboard, I'm tired, it's coming up to 1AM. Apart from all of that, I think it turned out pretty good. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/113958-acerius-lord-of-the-craft-application/ Just noticed my application got accepted in three minutes of it being posted. That means it took the moderator three minutes to read it and write the reply. Holy crap, I think I may of just set a record? I'm too amazing, right? Haha, anyway... hit me up on Steam any time you like or in Minecraft and whatever. I enjoy shouting at people a lot in games and so forth so you may find that funny. - Acerius

Out-Of-Character Information The simplest section of the application. Answer these questions so we can get to know you a bit more. Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - RedParadoxin How old are you?: - Thirteen, coming up to fourteen. Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - I have been in the serious roleplaying scene for two-three years on Minecraft among many other games and forums. I have roleplayed on a few servers of which I do not recall the names of due to their death and I currently roleplay at Roleplay Revolution, which is a fantasy/medival style similar to that Lord of the Craft and other Minecraft servers. I have also roleplayed on Garry's Mod under sections such as PERP and Half-Life 2 Roleplay with the latter being a very extreme environment for descriptive roleplay which is slow-paced and relaxed. I enjoy this form of roleplay but I easily adapt to other situations and can easily contribute to any kind of roleplaying environment. I like to consider myself as somewhat of a veteran roleplayer, if you will. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - I created an application once previously a few years back when I was fairly new to roleplaying, if serious at all. I cannot justify for the horrendous quality of this previous application but I have, as it has become apparent, improved massively. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/54169-redparadoxins-whitelist-application/?hl=redparadoxin How did you hear about us?: - I have been searching for the perfect serious roleplaying server to settle down in and as the Half-Life 2 Roleplay gamemode on Garry's Mod is diminishing quite badly due to the lack of quality servers, I decided it would be a fashionable idea to search for a server on Minecraft, on which I stumbled upon Lord of the Craft. I did so through some forums, Planet Minecraft and the famous search engine Google. What do you think the server will be like? - I hope that the server will be of a quality build with much to explore and many good roleplayers to interact with. I trust that most of the individuals on here know how to roleplay to a decent level and of that the environment of which I am in will be a memorable and one that I shall indeed enjoy. I also place faith in that there shall be a great administration team to help enforce the rules. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Of course; I have thoroughly read through all the rules (forum and server) and it was a very enjoyable read, may I add. However, I would suggest adding some topics on others such as Fear, Pain among other topics of interest. These may not be the proper terms for such forms of roleplay but this is what I have come to adhere to in my roleplaying 'career', as it were. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - I was very intrigued when I read 'The Mechanical Standard' as it was probably the most well-written rule for that form of topic. It's always a pleasure to see a server that puts dedication and items in place to make sure that individuals get the best out of their experience and 'The Mechanical Standard' is a great example of this. I give a glorious thumbs up to whoever wrote that masterpiece. Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes, I perfectly understand. Within combat, you must not 'battlelog' as it were without giving a full-hearted and truthful, might I add, explanation as to your leave. If you are to die in combat, the victor may choose whether you die via actual combat or if you can utilize your soulstone to leave the scene. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- I do not understand the importance, or, rather why there is a restriction of sexual/erotic roleplay here. Sexual intercourse and any other sexual activities are a perfectly natural part of life as a whole and I see no reason why it cannot be used in this particular roleplaying environment. Yes, I agree that due to the server meaning to be for all audiences it may be slightly inappropriate to do so but why not allow the players to do it in a secluded area or simply have some restrictions on what can be displayed, rather than taking that ability away from players entirely? If individuals cannot handle such roleplay, then they simply do not partake in the activity or read what's being displayed, it's that simple. Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the art of utilizing either speech/text to create an environment in which is relatively realistic and forthcoming. It's where individuals will take the life of their given/created character and act it out in its sequence of events or encounters they have through the use of emotions and actions. Players will interact and talk with one another in the form of their character, rather than themselves. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is the act of when an individual uses information given through an Out-of-Character channel to their advantage In-Character without actually obtaining said information by In-Character means. An example of this would be metagaming someone's location of they were to state it in Out-of-Character. This is a common and mainstream issue throughout all forms of serious roleplay. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when an individual shall force their actions upon another character/individual without letting the other to react fully or fairly to said action. An example of powergaming would be where one individual punches another, not allowing them to react fully to the punch (not letting them dodge, etc.). This is, yet again, a common and mainstream issue throughout all forms of serious roleplay. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Malgus Arkengarth. What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Human. What gender are they?: - Male. How old are they?: - Fifty-Three. Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Malgus was born into a rather poor family in which they lived in a rather small settlement on the outskirts of a forest near the large city of Abresi. Malgus' father often went with a group of close friends of whom operated as bandits on the routes to and from Abresi. Malgus' mother, however, was a herbalist and collector of exotic plantations from forests around Abresi; she often asked Malgus to try her herbel remedies, which were said to of been some form of 'old medicine' which helped clean and heal wounds and fight a wide array of illnesses. Malgus' mother died a strange death of an unknown disease which none of her remedies could cure. Malgus developed a severe case of depression, often keeping himself away from the outside world and disconnecting with his father. As his father grew to an old age, he decided that it was best to train Malgus of all the skills he had learned as a bandit. This did not just include criminal activities, mind. When Malgus was of a suitable age, he left his old family home and moved into Abresi, where he found a job at a tavern as a 'doorman', if you will. The pay was poor, but it was enough as he also got decent meals and a free room in which he could stay. In his spare time, he often rode horses and practiced his combat skills and went about his day helping others. He was a much-loved figure of that particular part of Abresi. When his combat skills became that of a sufficient level, he was scouted out by a high-ranking officer within the Imperial Military. He trained as a soldier there and pressed his skills further, often returning to the same tavern and working part-time as he had grew close to the owner of the establishment. He was living not a wealthy life, but a decent one. He had participated in many battles throughout his time. As Malgus grew of an old age, he took an early retirement from the Imperial Military which resulted in some farmland and a small one-sum pension being given to him. He learned how to process and live off of what the land provided, instead of just buying from establishments ran by others. He found this to be an effective way of living and decided to make that his primary source of food and resources. Malgus had never properly utilized the skills of the bandit trade his father had gave him many years earlier, so he decided that as he grew old that it would be suitable to try them before he passed, which he did. He became an extremely successful criminal, often operating in different bandit cells and much more complex systems. After guilt caught on with him after this guilty trade, he turned away from it. He then started his strange artifact trade in which he sold weird and wonderful objects of interest to other settlers for income. He also continued to train himself in the art of using the sword and hand to hand combat while living off the land like he had dedicated himself. He has become a notable figure throughout Abresi and other settlements near, with his counterparts often having mixed feelings about him. What are they like? (personality): - Malgus is a very secluded and anti-social individual, who is far from outgoing and friendly. He often has outbursts of anger which can affect people around him in many different ways. He has an apparent soft-spot for young women and will transform into a gentlemen when encountering one. Due to the lack of social contact with Malgus, it is hard to state his true personality. What are their ambitions?: - Malgus, after completing his ultimate goal of becoming an extreme swordsman and living off the land successfully, has the newfound ambition to train a young person of ability to become a swordsman like himself and to carry the legacy of what he has created. He aims to develop the most powerful swordsman in Anthos, which, of course, would be near impossible. Despite it's so far reach, Malgus is determined to find an individual to train. He travels all across Anthos, with income coming from selling strange artifacts he finds from living off the land. He feels that soon he shall encounter the one in which he shall develop and create the ultimate swordsman to beat all across Anthos. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Malgus is an extremely powerful hand-to-hand combatant and wielder of a sword due to his advanced experience in the military and training as a young child. He has grown fond of utilizing any form of blade within combat and has shown extreme power and tactical knowledge within combat. However, due to Malgus' age, his reactions have gone down slightly which makes him more vulnerable in combat (turning around, deflection etc.) and this, when he is not in perfect form, can heavily impact on how he performs within a combat situation. With his growing age, it has become apparent that very large combat situations are much an extreme to Sidious compared to a one versus one. Malgus is also very good at navigation and having a feel for the world and environment around him, showing incredible map-reading skills and the ability to mark locations and calculate distance. This heavily contributes to his fighting style and overall intelligence, making him a very powerful combatant and general individual. This can also contribute to his merchant trade of fascinating artifacts. One of Malgus' big disadvantages is abscense of a left eye. This decreases his sense of depth and overall peripheral vision. This also places strain on his right eye, which is already weak. This makes his overall ability of sight very difficult to manage and can impact on his combat if in a badly-lit environment or if facing a very quick-packed, moving opponent. Sidious is often found slandering his vision when alone. Give us a description of how they look?: - Malgus is caucasian, with rather pale and thin-looking skin which often has wrinkles. He has a thick black beard and possibly hair but that is not visible with his cloak and hood drawn over himself. He also has horrible-looking fingernails which appear to be green and filled with dirt; they also appear to not of been cut for an extended period of time. Malgus is often seen wearing a mottled-green cloak with a ragged hood over his shoulder and down the back of his arms and his back itself. The hood stretches right over his head, making the right eye not visible and the left barely. He has a rather thick black beared which has sideburns and wraps around the mouth. He also has light-grey fingerless gloves which have a rather intricate design. For normal attire underneath his much beloved cloak, Malgus wears a sand/beige coloured gown which stretches over high thighs slightly and is secured with a brown belt. This is rather ragged-looking, but appears comfortable. He has slightly darker-coloured trousers which are constructed of a similar fabric and long, brown leather, knee-high boots which have a small heel and are of which buckled. Apart from his alluring scabbard which has complex but beautiful designs embossed on it, he carries a number of sacks and side-satchels on him which probably contain a number of goods for his fascinating artifact trade. He appears rather intimidating with both his attire, height, posture and overall figure. He sets off a mysterious and rather terrifying demeanour and would probably deter any socialising. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: - Good luck and thank you for applying to the server!
