Za'goth Unkai would gaze across the Northern Continent, reflecting on everything that had happened since his departure from his homeland. Atop the Ancient Tower of Mar, far North of Polaris, he gazed across the mesa. "Within Athera... there are two different worlds that I've come to know. The Northern World, and the Southern World. The North, being a place of honesty and virtue above all else, while the South being inhabited by the most volatile scum to inhabit this great land." Valkelm Za'goth Unkai gazes over the many new faces of his city. "My people, for so long have we watched the walls of many a country... So long, have we longed for a place we can truly call our own.... We've been treated as the second-rate foreigners for too long now. Now, my people! Men, women, and children! Gaze upon the glory that is our own city! Marvun, my brothers! Za'goth signals for the flag to be raised, signalling Mar's claim of the old Raine Academy, and official transformation into Merithic. "Glory to Merithic and it's children," the proud Valkelm would say loudly, from atop the former Academy. *Echos can be heard across the city,* "Glory to Merithic, and Glory to Mar!"

*Valkelm Za'goth Unkai reads over the paper, nodding slowly as he reaches the conclusion.* He would sign his signature below, approving the document and it's contents.* "Boy!" *He motions for an initiate to come over to him quickly.* "Take this paper back to the Rexellency. You come across a poster within Cloud Temple, or you are delivered this if your a Nation Leader! The Covenant of Mar Declaration of Open Crusade against the Society of Snakes Crusade of Retribution On this document, I, 2nd Valkelm of the Covenant of Mar, proclaim the utter destruction of the outlaws, “The Society of Snakes,” to be commenced. This, “Society,” has committed vile heresy against Athera and its populace, of which we shall go into full detail below. Gathering of Sensitive Information/Falsifying Documents The, “Society,” as these brigands have been referred to, has made a living off of selling falsified documents, information, and selling sensitive information to various criminals. Such information, can be quoted during the time of much tension between the Holy Oren Empire, and the Konigreich of Aesterwald. They had specifically made deals with both sides in this selling of documents, and had falsified more than one of these, as we’ve confirmed this with both sources. Now, you’ve may wondered how they have anything to gain by doing such things? Well, aside from meager monetary value that they are paid from by scum, they are also furthering their standing in the realm. Politically, socially, or economically, the Society grows by selling such information. Securing political ranks, by perhaps falsifying documents, and then gaining favor amongst that noble? Can you not see the correlation presented? With the Society in a higher standings in general, in threatens the very well-being of Athera, endangering its peoples. Threatening Political Authorities On various accounts the Society has been found guilty of threating political figureheads, those of which secure the safety of its people by governing them in such a way that will ensure protection is at the utmost priority. This is, socially, unacceptable for the safeguarding of the people’s under these governing bodies. In order to continue the constant protection of the innocent, such actions are considered vile, putrid, and downright heresy. The Covenant of Mar refuses to tolerate the audacity of these villains, and will meet them with swift, bloodied, justice. Assault on Atheran Populace We, the Covenant of Mar, have had many a skirmish with these miscreants, whether it be raising a sword to defend an orphaned child, or assaulting a retreating party of these men, whom of which, likely had just finished a robbing, have proclaimed that arms to these criminals is completely justified in its own proclamation, as their deeds have shown that they show no respect for the utmost basic, Rights of Men, that are given to all Atheran-born child. They will rob all that being’s worldly possessions, then have them kiss the blade in humility, forcing them to beg for what little life they have left to live, then, simply utter a demonic chuckle, and decapitate the poor, defeated soul. Too many a circumstance have has Mar bear witness to their awful deeds. We’ve taken the liberty of taking many of their men hostage, questioning them on the inner workings of the Society. They take out contracts to kill men, and receive payment here after! This is just plain evil! Mar shant stand for such tyranny! In order to actively pursue all members of the Society, we are posting this document in order to make all aware of the Society, their wrong-doings, and to have people actively working alongside Mar to ensure that these men are brought to justice, and met with swift retributive punishment. We must protect our innocent, for they, are ultimately, our future, friends. Attempt on planting Corrupt Government Officials On many a circumstance, we’ve encountered cases from political authorities claiming they were contacted by the Society, and offered a dividend of the Society’s wealth, for siding with them, and passing legislation that favored the Society above all else. As you all know, such implications of this cannot be tolerated in any pure governing body, whose sole reason for existence is to make a better place for the citizens it is sworn to protect! The Society’s implanting of corrupt government officials could lead to very negative things, and the innocents are the ones whom will suffer the brunt of the impact, while the greed of the Society, reaps what they’d sewn. Mar will actively work to foil this plot in our crusade against this darkness. We will seek out those affiliated, and directly involved within the Society. Should valid evidence be presented to indict such an official on grounds for corruption, Mar would alert the proper authority of that nation, and will be allowed to do as they please with the matter. As you can see from all above claims, this organization is evil in its very nature. Power-hungry, greed-filled, spiteful demons that are seeking only to further themselves at other’s expense cannot be tolerated any longer. Mar will officially begin the Crusade of Retribution against the snakes, in an all-out onslaught that will rid their taint from Athera, once and for all. They will be hunted to every city, fortress, castle, den, hideout, tavern, and damned corner of this continent till the heretics have been wiped from existence. I appeal to all nations, towns, and anyone who has any common decency within Athera to actively support Mar in this crusade, and those interested in playing an active role, please seek out our fortress. Together, we can stand against this plague, and rid it for good. Za'goth gazes out from Sarrowglek, the fortifications complete, Mar growing at a rapid rate, all is going well for the Covenant. "We're finally doing it... father.." Za'goth would then click the aged chest close, having taken the old uniform out. "Mar, has arrived."
