How to Play
A notice first off:
In order to play this FRP, you must have a basic grasp on how to role-play without meta-gaming or power-gaming. Anything done in the OOC thread cannot be taken into consideration when you're to begin RP in the RP thread. This thread is created for the sole purpose of creating applications, and learning how we will go about RP in this FRP. Now that we've got the general RP rules out of the way, let's get started!
Your Role-play is seperated into two different sections every time you make a post. Your Army's Role-Play, and your Workers Role-Play. This means you need to detail everything you did in both, so I can take this into account when you do actions. You're allowed to perform 6 Actions in Worker RP, and you're allowed to move 4 Spaces every turn, and attack with one once every turn. A Worker RP should be seperated into 6 Points of RP like so:
Queued the production of a Probe. -50 Minerals.
Queued the production of another Probe. -50 Minerals. [Will finish two turns from now since it's on the same Nexus.]
Had a probe create structure Gateway. -150 Minerals.
Had a probe create an Assimilator. -75 Minerals.
Had a probe create a Pylon on Square 4-B. -100 Minerals.
Queued the production of another assimilator. -75 Minerals.
Combat -
Your Champion Unit:
When you apply to participate in this FRP, you'll be given the task of creating your own champion unit from the faction list below. You may not choose a champion unit that has already been chosen by another participant that has his/her application accepted.
A champion unit is whom your RP encounters will center on, and will also be allowed a Special Ability, which can heavily influence your RP encounter should it be combative.
A champion unit also will open up a specialized unit in production buildings. For example, the Marine Champion will allow the creation of War Pigs, a beefed up Marine with extra HP, DMG, and +1 Armour.
Your champion unit has a chance to die if your army is completely defeated. You'll do a 1d20, and if it's above a 14, your character is PK'd, and you're eliminated from the FRP.
Your champion unit is given a starting force to wage battle with. This is your honor guard, and will contain what you need to create a base, and ward off starting opposition.
Your champion unit is needed to establish a Nexus, Command Center, or Hatchery. You cannot do this without your command unit present, despite it being that way in the actual game.
Your Army:
Your army is how you wage war against other factions. An army is made up of squads of forces. A squad is eight units. So four squads of Zealots would be 32 actual Zealots.
You're given a starting army with your Champion, however, this will likely lead to your demise should you try to strike out against the other Champion's right at the beginning, as they'll be producing more forces to add to their own standing force.
You can create squads of units from Production Buildings. More on this in Building.
You can move your forces three squares every turn.
You can only attack with one force every turn to keep things simple.
When you begin an encounter, the aggressor will RP out his actions for each Squad. This is a FRP, so you're expected to Role-Play, not Roll-play.
Once you've considered the aggressor's actions, as defender, you'll take everything he's said into consideration, and retaliate accordingly.
Buildings:
Your Honor Guard will have four worker units to begin harvesting. You'll also be given a Nexus/Command-Center/Hatchery near a mineral field of 16, and 2 Vespene Geysers.

The idea is to not over-complicate this system, so every turn a Worker Unit collects 100 Minerals if assigned to a mineral field, and 100 Vespene if assigned to a geyser. So you'll get 1600 Minerals, and 600 Vespene from a fully productive base. [Requires 22 Workers in total.]
The Map:
The map is where the Role-Play is performed. You'll see the map once the RP post is created, and you'll be assigned a starting base, along with a colour detailing your block.
You're not allowed to Meta-Game things on the map. Do your best to not MG, as this game is entirely dependent on your willingness to not MG.
The United Earth Directorate - (Terran Player)
The United Powers League was renamed the "United Earth Directorate" after the discovery of the protoss and the zerg in December 2499 brought many dissident countries into its fold, thus expanding its powers. The UED took a more proactive, militaristic stance in regards to alien affairs and bent all of its considerable resources towards studying the aliens and their maneuverings. They spent the next several months monitoring their activity, gathering data on their strengths and weaknesses. Believing that they were capable of countering any protoss or zerg attacks, the UED formed a military expeditionary force to put an end to the conflict in the Koprulu sector by any means necessary.[1]
Now, recently promoted to rank of Commander, you're tasked with the conquest of the Nerazim Homeworld of Shakuras for the UED. You're given four squadrons of marines, a 1/2 squad of SCV's, and a 1/2 Squad of Siege Tanks to accomplish this goal. Do not fail me Commander, the Directorate has full faith in your ability to complete this goal. For Humanity, Commander.
(You may choose the following to represent your Champion Unit: Marine, Ghost, Vulture, or Siege Tank.)
The Garm Brood - (Zerg Player)
The Garm Brood was part of the Zerg Swarm's attack wing. The small brood was employed using guerrilla tactics, emphasizing ferocity, speed, and surprise. The minions of this brood excelled at hit and run raids that weakened their enemies' defensive formations. Zasz, the cunning cerebrate of this brood, delighted in preemptive attacks, relying chiefly upon surprise to throw enemy forces into total chaos.[1]
The Garm Brood has fallen into disrepair since the death of Zasz, cerebrate. I've tasked you with the retention of this brood, for only you my child, are capable to do so. Awaken, and show your newly assimilated brood the ripe world of Shakuras, ready to be taken for the Swarm. Go forth, and complete this objective, cerebrate.
(You may choose from the following Champions to link your cerebrate-mind to: Hydralisk, Ultralisk, or a Queen.)
The Nerazim - (Protoss Player)
The Nerazim,[1] or the Dark Templar as they are known to outsiders, is a tribe ofprotoss who shun the Khala.
The Nerazim use a verdant green as their tribal color[2] while platinum is the dominant color on the field of battle.[3]
My most loyal servant, you have served me unquestioning throughout countless years. Your brothers and sisters owe you a great debt. I ask you to lend us your strength once more, for interlopers have landed across our planet, intent on destroying our way of life. Meet them in field, and show them the true power of the Nerazim. I have faith in you.
(You may choose from the following to represent your champion: Zealot, Dark Templar, Dragoon)
