And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, "Come and see". And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. @Mj.
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, "Come and see". And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. @The Combatant
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, "Come and see". And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, "A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine". @Nazdus
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, "Come and see". And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. @Vege

And as the bloody and burnt sands cascaded over the dunes, specks of the ancient grit was harshly swept over the partially buried body of an Uruk warrior. The sand had quickly built up over him after he had fallen, hand clenched around his axe in a grip of death. PLAGUE had overtaken the body, sand-flies buzzing around the corpse. The sand shifted down the dune as a hoof planted itself in the ground beneath it. A white horse gazed upon the Uruk, staring for a few moments before snorting. The horse walked past the body before it stopped, turning around and looking at the corpse. The sand then shifted once more.
II
And as the blizzard subsided, the thousands of warriors were frozen still in their armor, their names forever lost to the descendants, but not the WAR. . . A man clad in armor remained still, leaned up against a long orange and blue banner torn and ruined remaining drooped without wind. The sound of hooves would be heard quietly trotting atop the fresh blanket of white snow before stopping and looking down upon the man. The banner then waved once more.
III
And as a loud explosion was heard from deep inside a populated city, hundreds of screams emanated from the plaza as everything began to get warped by the thanic onslaught. Partially frozen in ice was a single body adjacent to a trotting horse, its face stuck in time with an expression that could only be described as displaying eternal FAMINE. The ice then shifted once more.
IV
And as the bitter rain fell, seeping from the canopy, dripping down onto the body of a fallen jester, who was lying face down in the mud, his shiny bell jingling in the gentle breeze. This jester had brought DEATH to many, seeming now that it had finally found him. A pale horse walked past the body before it stopped, turning around and looking at the corpse. The mud then shifted once more.

“Hic Finis Est.”
-Ushered by Tobias Staunton to his Generals before the Battle of Curon, 1604.
Courlandic forces gathered outside the city of Karlsberg, following the surrender of Haense, 1604.
A brilliant golden light filled the world with tranquil beauty, its radiance glinting off the trees slouched over the calm waters of the marshlands. The air, filled with a cool humidity as the sun dissipated from its noontime supremacy, came in a slow breeze that tugged branches and vines with feeble force.Rising through this serenity stood the seat of the House of Horen and the center of the Mardonian rebellion.
As the men of Courland came from the swamps, their tabards muddied and stained, to face this last bastion of hostility, the men resembled the very swamps around them. The dying light illuminating their features in harsh contrast, as they prepared their camp.
King Tobias Staunton, adorned in his usual splendor albeit a bit more drab from this particular campaigns challenges, stood atop a small rise. His crown reflecting the golden light in a brilliantly shining spectacle to any man who would see him. His outline marked over the holding that defied him as the sunlight died.
This would be the last night for Mardon.

The Eagle’s Vigil
The city of Aleksandria in the middle of the night, with the Courlandic Military patrolling the streets
History of the Courlandic Military
The Courlandic military was initially formed under Percival Staunton, the first Duke of Courland. Though vast in size, it was largely a disorganised militia of uncoordinated townsfolk. Under the reign of Richard Staunton, second Duke of Courland, the Eagle’s Vigil was formed, a well structured, well organised and well equipped standing army, with the goal of protecting the Duchy. The Vigil remained the official military through into the reign of Aleksander, fifth Duke of Courland, where it was disbanded following the destruction of Courland. Under Louis de Felsen, the Vigil was reformed, with the goal of ensuring that the Kingdom would be able to address domestic and foreign threats alike.
RANKS OF THE MILITARY

At the head of the army is the King, wielding supreme authority over all of the ordermen. Overseeing the management of the military, second to the King is The Commander, leading all units of the levy. It is the highest attainable rank in the military, and is a position currently held by Louis de Felsen. The commander is responsible for ensuring that the logistics of the military are catered to, in order to ensure that the military is well coordinated, well equipped and well trained.
Captain
The Captain, is the second in command of the Military. There are a maximum of three captains, and they are all chosen by the Commanders. All Captains, must be capable fighters in the sword, bow and horseback.
Sergeant
The Sergeants, uphold the rules of the Military, dealing punishments to any lower ranked levy men. The Sergeant is the right hand man of each Captain, and are required to relay orders the Captain desires. Each Sergeant is selected through their time in the levy, commitment and fighting experience. The Sergeant is only selected and chosen as the best of each unit. There can be two Sergeants if the Captain, believes they are both worthy for the rank.
Officer
The rank Officer, is the enforcer of each order the Sergeant or Captain wish to say. The Officer, is given the rank through loyalty and commitment in the army. Each Officer, must be known throughout the unit, and is shown to give discipline and punishments for any positions who do not follow the commands of the Sergeant, Captain or Commander. The Officer, is blunt force, of each unit as is feared, for their deadly punishments on rule breakers.
Aleksandrian
The rank Aleksandrian, is originated from the city of ‘Aleksandria’. The rank is superior to the rank of Man - At - Arms and is only given to soldiers who have mastered their specific chosen skill. The Aleksandrian are the best fighters of the unit, and are represented as the best warriors of the Military.

There are two sections to the Man - At Arms, in where they will practice their certain skill unit of either Horseback or Footmen. The Man - At Arms, will practice in his specific skill chosen and master, it until either the Sergeant or Captain sees fit. The Man - At - Arms and the Recruits are meant to be the one of the main fighting force of the Military.
Recruit - Levy-men
The Recruit, are part of the Military, who are people who recently have join and, who have taken their oath for the levy. The Recruit, are usually ill-trained and are tested with all source of equipment. The Recruit, is the lowest rank off all, and are the main source of the Military at the start. The Recruit, is constantly trained, until they are promoted to Man - At - Arms.

The Quartermaster, is generally one of these skills miner, blacksmith, leather-worker, woodworker, enchanter and one or two more. The Quartermaster, supplies the whole army with weapons and armour. The Eagle and the Dragon : The Battle of Blackwater, 1606
“When will the salmon stop poking the bear?”
Ushered by His Majesty, King Tobias Staunton, addressing the Courlandic forces after the siege of Vasililand.
A painting depicting King Tobias Staunton leading the Courlandic charge during The Battle of Blackwater, 1606.
Nats, mosquitoes, worms, and beetles swarmed about the muddied waters, and rotting logs of the marshlands. Trees, as twisted and craggy as the very ground they grew from, loomed over the single road cutting its way across the saturated earth. The sounds of birds, and insects were only drowned out by the bubbling of gases coming from the waters as the sunlight filtering through the foliage turned to a more greenish hue rather than its more pure form.
The sounds of footsteps, sucking at the earth, soon overtook the sounds of nature. Green tabards moving through a green backdrop, nearly enveloping the entire army into the abyss of the forest. Men peered into the undergrowth, framed by vines, finding nothing discernible to their eyes.
Having left their meager holdings, venturing into the marshlands, the men’s cheers and grandeur soon dissipated as they came to realise that some men may be enveloped by the very ground they would soon fight on, falling to the mud and being sucked deep below, never to be seen again as some unlucky men had found. Straying their steps too far from the causeway, and plummeting down into the slime covered water below. These thoughts marked their faces as the call to halt came across the line.
Peering out across the road, the commanders knew they had but one chance to break the Mardonian line, should they be caught in bloody and prolongued melee if they did fail. With a quick sounding of the horns, and calls for “Charge” raising down the line, the green tide, now but a trickle in the expanses of the Marshland, came forward. The Veteran men not questioning their commanders judgements as they plodded across the soft earth.
As they flew across the causeway with the speed of a Hawk, they came to a moss covered bridge whose far side was entirely enveloped in the purple standards, and tabards of the Duchy of Mardon. With remembrances of the great war past still flooding their memories, came the furious rage of the Courlandic rebellion upon the Orenian Empire once more. The Veterans of the great war flew not to meet their enemy, but straight through them.
As they approached the bridge, arrows rained down upon the Courlanders, their shields becoming pincushions to the deadly projectiles. Once they met the bridge, they rushed it but were repelled with Alchemists fire. A mistake the Mardonian forces soon realised, as the battle tested and resourceful Courlanders came about the sides, finding ways across the river that the bridge spanned to flank them.
As the chemical fires died away from the soaked wood of the bridge, the distraction of the flanking Courlanders had provided just enough confusion to allow the main force to smash through the very heart of the Mardonian line.
Purple adorned men screamed as they fell, swallowed up by the very earth they once stood upon. Their lines shrinking back from the bridge, until they broke and routed into the swamps. The Courlanders cheering to their backs as they disappeared into the hostile land, to be swallowed up, lost, or returned in shambles to their holdings.
With this victory, there was no defense left between the Courlandic forces, and the lands of the Duchy of Mardon.
Mardons retribution had come.

As the daylight broke through the chill and silence of the morning, whisping its way over the stone walls of Aleksandria to play against the thatched roofs, did the gate to her interior creak itself upwards. No sooner had the creaking began, was it drowned out by the countless hoofbeats of a great mass of riders, the green of their tabards, cloaks, and banners displayed proudly against the dreariness of the morning. With the coming of the sudden noise, the few peasants housed near to the gate could be seen rubbing the sleep from their eyes and shouts could be heard as children came rushing out of their homes to see the cause of such a commotion.
The riders, caring not for the spectacle they were, stopped within the market beyond the gate. The men on the flanks pulling the polished and gleaming metal of not swords, but horns from beneath the protection of their travel attire and lifting them to the heavens. With this, the rider before the mass of green raised his voice in a shout that none need strain to hear from across the city.
“King Tobias Staunton returns!”
And so, the horns marked the occasion with piercing and brilliant sound, as the men within the inner walls of the group moved their mounts to the sides to allow for their Lords passage.
Coming out of the mass, was the familiar visage of King Tobias Staunton. His body clad in brilliantly dyed cloth of springtime green, marked with the ornate and beautiful cloth of gold sigil of his house emblazoned boldly on the front. Taking his equally impressively attired mount forth, he led his party down the road, all the while looking forward to his palace.
Proceeding behind him were the now cheers, horns, laughter, and praises of both common men, and nobility. Gone was the dreariness that the morning had been.
The King had come.31 -
The King groans as he hears of the news from his bedchamber, shocked and appalled by the actions of his men.

“If you are poor, I will give you free money.”
-Jeremy Corbyn at the 2014 labour party conference in Addis Ababa
Chairman-in-waiting Jeremy Corbyn overlooking his 500 million strong socialist horde.
“Corbyn has, for far too many years, remained a stain on the fabric of Furkind. They are the bane of our existence, since the time of our great Yiffmaster GGT, who formed the modern foundations of our Kingdom in the crucible of the First Fur(r)y for infurpendence. The Labour Party caused the downfall of our Imperium, and the death of the Duma, Tsar Corbyn’s shadow cabinet. They gave assistance to that most treacherous House of de Bolbec, rebels and traitors to their Zootopian kin. They have raided our safe spaces, robbed us of our rights, attacked our furry brothers and sisters within our own doghouses, myself included. No, these grievous crimes must go unanswered no longer. Corbyn must pay, Your Yiffship.” Yiffmaster GGT nodded, having been listening attentively to the words of his Chancellor, Lucas. The gathered yifferss looked amongst themselves, whispering quietly to their furry friends.
Archyiffer Nick Wilde of Addis Ababa, who had yet to join the conversation spoke up, “Aye, we must not forget how these same Corbynites slew the late Count Bearis in cold blood, while on the way to prevent this current war. These brigands who have brought war to our peaceful capital, Addis Ababa, who have spilled the blood of good furry race, who have shielded themselves behind cowardice must finally meet their judgement. It is just before GOD.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dianne Abbott had kept her eyes fixated on the political map laid out before her, her MPs in the House of Commons and MPs in the House of Lord continuing to deliberate over strategy. Finally, the young Jeremy stood, “We shall not waste any more time. My policies have made our party unelectable, along with the rise of the SNP, we have no hopes to be reelected until at least 2030.” He'd pause, looking up at the assembled men, “Коммунизм для всех.” From within the tent funded by the taxpayer, and all around the camp, men who had been listening to the conversation would shout and cheer in response.
“Zootopia must fall!”
