Hacking always causes me annoyance so I'm happy that our friendly neighborhood staff is on the watch for it. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: Nah. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? : I like Google. Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of carrying out actions and/or dialogue of a character, fictional or not. It is usually carried out on Chat systems such as forums. That's my professional, bleak, application-acceptance-based answer. Personally, I feel as if roleplay is the best, easiest and most entertaining way to do theatre. I used to roleplay constantly, but I'm coming back after a long amount of time. I've always found roleplay fun, and made connections with my characters to the real world. I've loved, laughed and cried all because of roleplay, and I always have to finish the story, however it will be done. When the server ends, I always make a last-minute post of the last of the character's life. I understand roleplay isn't always humorous, but isn't necessarily serious. Roleplay is almost crucial in my life so far, because I have done it so much, and made so many friends, and memories because of it. Also, the professional answer was my words, don't worry about that. What is metagaming?: Meta gaming is using OOC information in character, that your character/group/team/clan/etc. would have literally no access to getting hold of, such as the location to a secret base, or the codes to a door you've never seen or anything of the such. What is powergaming?: Power gaming is the action of doing mentally or physically impossible things with your character, such as a newborn baby puppy that has no magic powers or such killing a god. In-Character Information Character’s name: Adalbern Godehard Bach Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 27 Biography : Adalbern was born to a farming family, who lived in a cottage outside of Tempum. His parents would have friends over, and with this, Adalbern was raised with the knowledge of how to entertain, and how to make friends. After his family left the Thales with everyone and settled up in Atherea, he made new friends in the area. After settling got further underway and people began to live on their own, Adalbern's family built up a cottage identical to the one in the Thales, and began to farm in the surrounding area. The Cottage was located outside Petrus, and most every harvest went straight to the capital. The farm was small, and the family poor, but they got by. He would help his parents daily along the farm, from harvesting to planting, he was always happy to help his parents. Through this, he learned how to farm. After learning these vital skills at the expense of any sort of academic skill whatsoever, he began getting paid for his work at farms, and built up a /very/ small fortune. At the age of 19, he moved out to his own farm, but was deeply unsatisfied with what his life was bound to be if he stayed here. Days later, he burnt down the farm, (Not really thinking straight) and went off to adventure the world, meet people, and make a life he would be proud to call his own. He wasn't very successful, and had to deal with cold, lonely nights in the forest as we wandered around. He'd walk coast to coast, missing towns and cities, camping and hunting along the way. He's finally decided it was a bad idea, and has now begun his final journey to find a new land to live in, and settle down until he can afford a horse. He went back to farming, but he really just worked as a farm-hand nomadically. By that, we mean he moved around from farm to farm offering his services to whoever he came by that looked like they needed help. Once more, he began to build his small fortune in hopes to settle down and be happy. Personality Traits: Charasmatic, and outgoing. Loves to help, he tends to look at the bright side of things, and keep everyone's spirits up. He also tends to make jokes of everything he can, though he's kind of stupid. Ambitions: He wants to explore the world, and make as many friends he can along the way, and one day settle down and make a large, happy family. Strengths/Talents: Friendly, and good at manipulation. He's also proficient with scimitars. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Somewhat stupid, can't write, though can read. This will also effect him in battle, as he won't be more viable to create his own strategies. Appearance : Blonde, white skin.
