  1. Already done c; WT will be working alongside members of the LT and MAT when working on Magic or important Lore pages. Just like a real wiki.
  2. The Wiki Team will be watching over the content that people post up on the Wiki regardless, but I'll likely instate that you need to be a player on the server for a Month before you can edit anything.
  3. Of course. The Main Page will be seeing an entire restructure soon. I, and the Managers (once they've been chosen), will be working on a small mock up image with an art program of where things should be, etc etc and I'll likely then throw it into the Feedback Group chat and see what people think. From there we'll actually sit down and write up the HTML code for it for the Wiki front page. With Tofuus on the Team, I'll likely be poking him about some things and things like the map and a few plugins might find their way onto the Wiki (If Tythus is able to put them on). Pages that are important to the Lore will be worked on by the Wiki Team still, they aren't prevented from working on pages if they wish to. I'll be talking to Tsuyose and the Lore Team at some point (After I'm done with this CK2 Game, relaxing after a long day) and we'll start to actually update the pages which are updated here on the Forums. We'll be looking for a more quality and formed system of putting information across, and less of the flashy and in your face imagery. It's sort of both. We're waiting on Tythus to make it automated, but all of this is possible now and has been done. If you want to make an account and get working on the Wiki, you can, you just have to ask any member of the Wiki Team to make your account for you as Tythus hasn't enabled the ability for you to do so for yourself just yet.
  4. Hello there So, for a while now the Team has been working on maintaining and updating the Wiki by the single-handed (Or I suppose multiple-handed) use of the Wiki Team. Updating the Wiki was, and still is, a big task. Lord of the Craft has years and years of information that need to be sorted through, updated and posted up on the Wiki and for a team of just about 15 people tops, this was a very difficult feat. In the previous month, we've been looking into the suggestions you've all made and, with a lot of internal discussing, have decided upon making the following changes to the Wiki Team, and the Wiki, which I'm hoping you'll all enjoy. The Wiki Itself So the Wiki is going to be opened up to the Players, just as I've mentioned before. We've opted to allowing any player to create a Wiki Account and just go ham on updating information as and when they please. You won't need staff approval to make a Wiki Account, and you'll have, essentially, free reign over what you want to edit. To summarise the changes, I will make a bullet list below: Players can now acquire or create a Wiki Account Players can now edit and create Wiki pages Players can now be more directly involved with the way the Wiki is being updated We will, however, be sectioning off parts of the Wiki in which players will not be able to edit. We will do this by 'protecting' the pages, and the members of the Wiki Team will be the only ones able to edit said pages. Those pages will include the following: The Main Page Quintessential pages surrounding core/important Lore Team created Lore Pages regarding Staff Teams Rule pages Plugin pages We will be doing this to further allow for the Wiki to be continuously updated with information that the Players can provide, though there will be some limitations which ensure that the pages which require Staff input, do indeed get that Staff input. The Wiki Team As for changes to the Wiki Team, we will be restructuring what the Wiki Team is, and what the Wiki Team does. For instance, in the past they were the sole authority over what was created, and how the Wiki was run. This is no longer the case, and instead of being the creators of content, the Wiki Moderators will do exactly what their title suggests; moderate. The Wiki Team will be in charge of ensuring that the content that is posted up onto the Wiki is appropriate, and correctly formatted to ensure that the Wiki looks neat and tidy should the content creator be unaware of how to format MediaWiki and so forth. Any Lore or Magic pages that we go to create will be worked on with the help of the LT and MAT for specific pages. There are a few more changes that I'll quickly list here: The Wiki Contributor system has been abolished, as now all Players are technically Wiki Contributors. Wiki Contests will be seeing a return, however in a more modular sense We will be looking for more Wiki Moderators, and any preexisting Contributor in the previous system will be promoted to members of the Wiki Team, should they wish to remain a member The Rules So, the reason the Wiki isn't open right now is because last time we open it up, we had a massive influx of bots and shitposting that really wasn't appropriate for the Wiki, and due to that we closed it off. We will open it up again on the condition that the Players accept the ability to do this, and act maturely. Anyone who goes out there and abuses this ability will face consequences, just as you would with the Forum or In-Game. Your account will be blocked on the Wiki, and you can possibly face further punishments in game if the rule break is bad enough. The following rules will be put in place: Any shitposting will result in punishment Bombardment of bots will face heavy punishment Posting bias or incorrect information can result in correction of work, unless the page being written is considered Player Lore, and is clearly marked as an opinionated piece. You don't have to worry terribly about formatting any pages, we will work on that Inappropriate content, such as sexist, racist, derogatory, pornographic, will not be accepted and you will face punishment Trolly content will not be accepted. TL;DR Wiki opened up Bad content will be removed Good content is good Wiki Contests coming back Do note: due to Tythus not being around (I'm trying to get him to open up the Wiki), you're not able to make your own account. Due to this, Wiki Team members can and will make your Wiki account. All you need to do is contact a member of the Wiki, and we'll set you up with an account until Tythus has opened it up fully. As soon as Tythus opens it all up, you'll be able to post your own content. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. - Thomas Wiki Team Director
  5. I'll never hurt you baby... Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo.. TAKEE MEEEEE OOOOONNN. Honestly I'm pretty eh. I had a long and very warm day at work, and my body is just sore. Otherwise, it's been pretty average. I think you're one of the most hard working people I've ever known. You have this immeasurable drive and it's really commendable, I respect that a lot. I adore him, and he's one of my favourite characters. I go through bouts of activity due to inspiration. I'm a person who needs people egging me on or asking me to do work for me to continue to do so. I'll operate on my own with my own initiative for about four months, and at that point I'll start to dip in motivation. When that happens, I need someone to push me to remain active. I need to feel wanted or needed in a community to want to stay, and at that point in time I was going through a lot of real life issues and coupled with the aforementioned, caused me to dip out for a good two months. Favourite person from LotC? Probably Keem, Croleo, Heero, Halsi and you. Favourite person in general? That'd be my best friends, Jack, Abdurrahman and Jordan. I just got about two hours, it was alright. Because I'm English and I love my crumpets. This originated due to my custom notifications, right? I had an order called the Aureate Isthmus and I was the Steward in Peremont so I had the two set to ping me in chats. I have no thoughts on the words now, however. No. I can, but I won't.
  6. You're pretty neat. You have some good ideas and you're a hearty laugh, it's good to have a more down to earth person to work with. Lord of the Craft is, to me, just a constant project that needs more and more work. It's a bit fucked up, it has some rough edges and I doubt it'll ever be considered complete, but it's a project to work on and while the atmosphere can be toxic sometimes, it's enjoyable and part of the experience. Probably a roleplay encounter between my old de Aryn and the Adrians during the Dukes War, I was captured and had to manipulate my way out of the jail cell, sneak out of the city and ride back to Felsen to protect my King Olivier de Savoie. Very enjoyable. ****, I dunno. Almost every day is ******* hilarious, I doubt I could isolate one. I believe practically no one knows what's best for them until it's given. I've always been under the belief that no one can truly self analyse themselves in that regard, and that those closest to them can often give a better representation of their character. That being said, there have been countless times where Players have given suggestions to what they wanted and they haven't been listened too, which sucks ass. No. You're infuriating and you never shut up. Eh, you're okay. There are times where you are one of the most humorous people I've ever met, but other times where I'd like nothing more than to just block and never talk to you again. You can be a good person, and be professional, but when you're actively trying to peeve me it generally works. The Wiki Team isn't functioning and at this point has become a shattered mess of what it once was supposed to be. I have ideas on how to fix it, and whoever becomes the new Lead will be hearing those ideas. I have no opinion of this, I merely understand and accept that you're mentally deficient.
  7. Not even in the slightest c; You're the only Goblin I know, so yes you are. You are, baby. You're okay. Bit narrow minded sometimes but I feel like you have some interesting things to say. And because I dislike the guidelines. Because you have no spine. Honestly, if you stuck up for yourself once in a while I wouldn't be so hard on you. Meat Feast without the BBQ sauce is honestly my favourite from Dominoes in my town. The specific store has this great Chef called Hanse, and he makes just the best Pizza. Also that's funny, because you are in fact one of my favourites. c;
  8. You're pretty alright. Not my favourite, but you're okay. You're moderately okay, though still not my favourite. That's difficult. In the beginning, Thomas. I'll never be able to compare the amount of enjoyment I received from this character in the beginning stages of the character, though comparatively over time I'd have to go with Alaric. Alaric enabled me to express myself through roleplay in a way that I was unable to do so with Thomas. Thomas was brutish, but jovial, and Alaric was weak but manipulative. Instead of playing the glorified Knight and morally sound character, I have to say I prefer the manipulative and snakey political character that Alaric was and still is. In fact, a lot of the traits from Alaric were carried over from my High Elven character, Crumena, as the style of play was much more interesting. Finding a way out of a scenario using intellect and deceit was more enjoyable to me than just punching my way through. You're not my Father. Everyone has some level of self-loathing. And because Marty is too busy to meet with people, and I just poke him about Paradox Interactive games nowadays.
  9. Nothing special, just hopping on with the trend. I've done one of these before, though that was about 7 months ago and before I did literally anything on this server. Go ahead, ask me anything. <# Waffleheart for good measure.
  10. Two, if the raiders bring 6 people. Also, if you'll remember about a few months ago, everything was PvP Default. This was discussed on the thread, and in the Feedback group. I'm not too sure, but I believe @Sky is a Druid and was a member of the discussion. I know it's not that great, and it's a bit shitty but this is ultimately the best number we could find which works for both RPers and PvPers. We don't want to see groups of 8 people RP fighting - It's messy, it's broken and horrific. Even 8 is too high of a number for RP fights, but we need to give the Roleplayers at least a chance in these situations. Druids are a bit of a strange circumstance here, as they refuse to build a wall and their RP defenses are a little hard to translate into PvP. I may bring this topic up in the Feedback Group, actually, and see how we can make the situation more fair for groups who this doesn't assist. - I will do this, yes.
  11. For political reasons I have purposefully excluded political stuff due to the vast differences across the server groups. Blasphemy and Treason is a very broad topic and it's hard to define, and easy to abuse. If they're in that position, you may still attempt to arrest and detain them - Physical Assault by definition only counts when you intend to cause direct harm to another person, as long as you arrest them without punching them in the face you'll likely retain the default.
  12. Aye. A Guard only has default if you commit one of the crimes listed in the overarching post. Guards can no longer call Defender Default on you for basic smack talking.
  13. This was the alternative choice, and it may be raised to 9 or 10 depending on how this goes. The System is very malleable, and depending on how it's received we may alter the numbers.
  14. Announcement An announcement regarding Defender Default and the Feedback Group. So, awhile back I posted up a thread asking for feedback on the Defender Default system we put in place in March of 2016. After a large amount large amount of input, both from the thread and through a newly created Feedback Group created and headed by myself, and populated with a Cross-Section of different players from various areas of the server. I will explain more on this later, but I’ll jump right into the official announcement. Defender Default An update to the base Combat System on Lord of the Craft. In the past, we adhered to the following rule/statement: “This implies that it is under the jurisdiction of the person being attacked to determine the type of combat they wish for, either that of PVP or RP. In relation to acts of crime it becomes the city/town's guard force responsibility to decide which they wish to use. Should no viable initiate be found the fight will continue with PVP default to determine a victor. If over 6 people are involved (aka 7+) then the combat style will automatically revert to PVP also, unless the entirety of the party wishes otherwise.” This was something that, on a fundamental level, was fine. It was, however, not good. It has needed an update for a while now, and given the recent increase of the Raid cap from 4 to 6, I figured now would be the best time to launch this into discussion. So, I took the topic and outcome of the thread into the Feedback Group (more to come), and this was what was ultimately decided based on the verdict of both the Forum Thread, and the discussions in Skype. Here is what we have now: In the past, when 7+ people were involved the situation would immediately default to PvP regardless of the Defenders preference. Now, however, the cap will be raised to 8+ in order to nicely fit in with the raise in the Raid Cap. As a comparative figure: Was: Raid 4, DD 7 Now: Raid 6, DD 8. This means, that when 8 people are involved in a combat scenario, the situation will automatically default to PvP. - This is, however, subject to change and may be either raised or lowered depending on how this reacts with the Raid Cap. What makes a Defender a Defender? Previously this was unclarified, however now a Defender is specified under some very easy to follow stipulations: A Player is considered a Defender when they are physically attacked. A Player is considered an instigator if they are the first one to initiate Physical Combat. A Player is considered a Defender when the instigator has stolen from them. A Player is considered an instigator if they steal from another person. A Player is considered a Defender when the instigator is Trespassing on their land. (Signs must be present to indicate the land is private property) A Player is considered an instigator if they are trespassing on appropriately marked private property. A Guard is always considered a Defender in the scenario where the ‘instigator’ has broken any of the following crimes: Physical Assault Thievery Trespassing If you commit any of the four crimes above, you are essentially signing of that you are are the instigator, and you sign away your right to choose the Default. Defender Default remains to be Global. Nations are not allowed to pick and choose their Default. Feedback Group An brief summary of the project I’ve been working on. The Feedback Group, as mentioned, was created by myself in the attempt to work more closely with players on more pressing matters which concern the Playerbase. For some time, I’ve watched as Players feel their words unheard and made a pro-active attempt to resolve this issue by creating an Official Feedback Group. What is the Feedback Group? Comprised of roughly 40 players from various sections of the Server, the Feedback Group consists of a cross-section of players from Lord of the Craft. With members from the Elves and the Dwarves, to the Druids and Sutica, it was attempted to gather at least one person from every active group on the Server. Having players who have been around since Aegis, and players who joined a mere month ago, we collect opinions from every source we can. The Group if 100% official and endorsed, and the change to Defender Default of a very clear definition of this. What happens in the Feedback Group? Well, a topic is chosen either by me, or suggested by a member of the group, and a mature and collected conversation ensues. I pose the question “What is your issue with X, why is this an issue and what are the other problems caused because of it?” and each member of the group gets involved and sheds their opinions on the matter. Once this is done, myself and CynicalKing collect the data into a document, and then go back through and ask the group how they would suggest solving the issue. We then collect that data, compress it and I propose the change, depending on the size of the change, to Administration or to the Community for a vote. Who is involved with the group? We have a large cross section, as mentioned, and communicate with every Nation Leader to get an appropriate representative for that Nation on board, and every large and active Community Leader in order to get a representative from them too. We occasionally drag ‘specialists’ into the group temporarily if the topic pertains to them, and the group, while containing a few members of staff, is completely steered and directed by the Players on the most part, for the Players. How do I get involved in this group? Well, the best way to get involved you’ll need to go ahead and do one of two things. Contact your Nation/Community Leader and have them get in contact with me. This will ultimately hinge on how much of a representation you can portray on behalf of that Community or Nation. Contact myself directly, and offer what section of the server you represent and how you would prove to be a useful part of the Group and its direction. If you have any questions, feel free to comment on the thread. These changes will be in effect immediately, though I would make the suggestion to read over the recent Raid Rule changes to ensure you’re fully acquainted. -Thomas
  15. So from what I'm gathering thus far: Define 'global laws' for Guard Forces Note in the rules that small law breaks defined in each Nation are moot in the decision making depending on what they are (Perhaps allow each Nation to decide upon 3 smaller law breaks? Iunno) Revision of the threshold Possible raising Possible lowering (Maybe allow for Nation Leaders to set their threshold between 6-10?)
  16. Overstatement. I do not understand. Nothing is broken, I'm just looking to improve it on a broader scale than we already have been. Also keep the petty insults and arguments off of this thread, this is your last and only warning.
  17. Howdy! (Immediate regret, I'm not Southern) Introduction Anyhow, hey-ho friends! I'll jump straight into it, no point in wasting anyone's time. As per the post above, roughly 5 or so hours ago a incisive and well proposed feedback thread was made in regards to the previously implemented 'Defender Default'. Don't know what Defender Default is? Where have you been and what have you done with my player? To sum it up: "Defender Default was put in place in beginning of March as a remastered version of our default combat system here on Lord of the Craft. Previously, we followed 'PvP Default', which meant that any combat which took place through RP measures and otherwise would always be settled between a PvP Battle. We felt this favoured PvPers more than those who prefer to RP, and while it was a system that functionally operated, it was felt that a change was needed to suit all sides of the table. Thus, I pushed forward and the Game Department (was Global Moderation Team) accepted together we implemented the system known as Defender Default. DD, instead of PvPD favours the person being attacked. It falls under the decision of the person being attacked to determine the type of combat they wish for, either that of PVP or RP. When it comes to crime, the local guard force hold the responsibility to decide which outcome will be held, as breaking the law counts as instigation. Should no viable initiate be found the fight will continue with PVP default to determine a victor. If over 6 people are involved (aka 7+) then the combat style will automatically revert to PVP also, unless the entirety of the party wishes otherwise." So Thomas, what are you making this thread for? Well, as I mentioned on the above post, I am constantly looking for ways to improve the systems put in place by the server. "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" isn't in my vocabulary. Defender Default is by no stretch perfect, and we knew that to begin with. Slowly we've been tweaking and making changes, but it's been 2 months since the Trial of Defender Default was passed and I'd like to go full march to get as much feedback as possible to ensure the system is made in the best way possible. Purpose So what do I need from you? Well, I need your feedback. I want suggestions on how to improve the current System and what about it you dislike. If you don't have any idea how to improve it, that's fine. If you have criticisms, then please make them and I'll use whatever brain capacity I have to come up with something which can suit those needs. I'm looking to cater to as many concerns as possible, though I will note that not every suggestion will be met due to the overwhelming amount of contention which will no doubt stir. Do not spam this thread, keep it clean and professional or your post will be removed. Do not spam "REMOVE DEFENDER DEFAULT" or "PVP DEFAULT IS BETTER", because Defender Default is here and it is going to stay all the while I have the ability to improve it. Let's work together to fix a system for everyone, and let's do this properly. We can do it. - Thomas <# Waffleheart
  18. On this day, the First of The Amber Cold in the year of 1562, it has been decreed and announced through the lips of the Hierarch himself that the High Elven Bloodline of Ur'eial has henceforth been Elevated to join the ranks of its peers in the Governance of The Isles of Alarhys. It has been decided, through anointment of Vernian Ur'eial as Elevated Patriarch of said Bloodline, that all who bare the blood of the Patriarch shall follow in suit of elevation for their acts of undoubted servitude and dedication in the cause of the realm, their assistance the growth and overall the protection in the darkest of nights, and work as the military and judicial forces, to be declared as Lords and Ladies of the Celeinian realm. As enunciated through the words of the Hierarch himself, the following people have found their Blood Elevated: Prince Vernian - Patriarch Hierarchess Athri'leyun This change has been enacted henceforth immediately. - Crumena Izalith
  19. I wrote a bit too much for a reply, so I decided to just post a whole new thread. This is in response to this: The City-State of Celein had begun it's campaign with the Allied, the Silver State had retorted with slanderous and brutally outlandish claims, and it seemed as through the world was settling in for what appeared to be a great, and violent war. The young Mali'aheral, known by all as Crumena, stood in the upper halls of the Library, his hands loosely by his sides with the balcony door swung open to the world. Elleyun had gone now; The advisory council, and men with parchments and quills were absent. His Father, Laethis, had left too. The Young Izalith traced around the room, his fingertips trailing against each counter until he came to the head seat of the table. Paying attention to detail, Crumena Izalith ran his fingers along the knots and scratches this chair had accumulated over the years, taking in and gauging the very life the oaken wood from this chair had led before it's final resting place in this room. He sighed. The weather turned dark as the sky closed into night, caliginous clouds shadowed overhead as drops of rain began to fall from the heavens, and onto the stone laden streets of this once so quiet City. His Mother had told him when he was young that when he felt alone, felt withered and worried, the sky would reflect for him in a way which compliments him. The child knew this was a lie, and he knew coincidence occurred more than any would care to admit... But the rain from the skies soothed his active mind. Despite the earlier bustling of papers, the shouting of edicts and treaties from the men and women rushing to aid, all was, once again, quiet. Tranquil. The rain fell against the roofs of the buildings, and the sounds of thunder echoed through his body as he trailed from the Library back to his home. Despite the circumstances, the Izalith Boy couldn't help but curl his lips into a smile, finding comfort in the sounds of the world. With the flickering flames from the fireplace across the room, Crumena simply stood idle by the head of the table, with his wrist in his opposite hand. The whole ordeal hadn't traumatized him, in fact he'd prepared for the violence of his kind since he was a young 'Aheral, though the metallic restraints laden upon his wrists in previous hours was a feeling he couldn't shake. He stood in his home, safe and away from the enemy and yet... the sensation of shackles against his skin remained. As he strolled to the balcony of his room with his forearms resting gently against the cooled stone barrier, and as the smell of petrichor filled the humid air of this tropical Isle, the Izalith Child recollected the events of the day. Each second felt like a year, and the once soothing rain which crashed against the stone caused ripples through his mind. Every sound echoed and vibrated through his entire body like a drum. It pained him, thinking of how he may have lost one most dear to him. He felt weak. His clothes soaked through and his hair dripping with the drops from the skies, the boy returned inside and assembled the equipment necessary in order to write a formulated reply. Crumena, the second and not to be confused with the first, slipped himself clear of his upper clothing and wrapped himself warm with a nearby banner. He wrote. The letter, printed on parchment and posted in similar locations to the others, is written with neat handwriting, the ink in a similar Silver to the one of his Father, given that was the only ink in the room. In response to the statements of his Father, and the retort of the Vigil: To those of concern, and those yet to understand, I write to all whom this behold not with anger, or spite. I write not of passion, or of worry, nor do I pen a response in order to rally support. This is not propaganda. I am to write the truth, of my own mind, body and volition. The events put forward upon the paper of public for all to see only cover the sides of the story expressed through those who failed to be present. I will begin a detailed course of events told through the eyes of one of the Children in question: The events disclosed above at told in order with as much detail as I can force myself to write. I do not wish to propagate anger, and I will never try to aggravate war, but the truth must be placed upon the table. We were taken, from a place we felt safe, and held captive. We were abused verbally and restrained with chains and metal against what they proclaim to be a 'plush couch'. We were not safe, and we were scared. All we wished was to go home and I can still hear the shrill screams which Elleyun cast as they grasped and locked her away in a cell. They treated us like age old murderers, like people who had the intention and the ability to harm and do more damage than we can likely even imagine. To the Sohaer of the Silver City: Despite your insistence of our capture, and the way we were treated - We forgive you, and we believe mercy shall befall you when the end of your days is near. To the 'Aheral Revin: I personally thank you for your comments, for despite the sides of the coin we were forced upon, you remained pure and logical. I take your attempt at reasoning for my life as an exchange for the life of yours I saved prior. To this, we are even. To those who came to our aid, in the bleakest hour: We both thank you for the actions and assembly you portrayed in retrieving us from the icy clasp of the Silver State. If it was not for the work you each diligently placed in, Elleyun and I would be locked away at this moment still. To the member of the Vigil: Your actions and decisions have led you to a point where I believe even you cannot turn from. Drifted from the path and held with a broken view of what must be, I can only believe in logical thought that one day you may incur the errors of your ways. I will not hold ill wishes upon your kin as you had with us for the crimes of a generation before. May the Mother understand the gravity of her crimes, and allow the Child to be free from captivity. Signed and dated, Crumena S Izalith, 11th of Malin's Welcome, 1562 As the final notes of the page were written, the young 'Aheral lifted his gaze and peered across the empty hall with a solemn expression, a soft and defeated sigh escaped through his lips... "I need a drink." TL;DR There isn't one.

  21. On this day, the Sixth of Malins Welcome in the warmth of 1560, it has been decreed and announced through the lips of the Hierarch himself that the High Elven Bloodline of Thylsaelaes has henceforth been Elevated to join the ranks of its peers in the Governance of The City-State of Celein. It has been decided, through anointment of Kypris Thylsaelaes as Elevated Matriarch of said Bloodline, that all who bare the blood of the Matriarch shall follow in suit of elevation for their acts of undoubted servitude and dedication in the cause of the realm, their assistance in the times of darkened eves and work alongside the defense, to be declared as Lords and Ladies of the Celeinian realm. As enunciated through the words of the Hierarch himself, the following people have found their Blood Elevated: Princess Kypris - Matriarch Lord Rathian Lord Seth'ailer Lady Allona Lady Elle Lady Illidar This change has been enacted henceforth immediately. - Crumena Izalith
  22. Scribes and Acolytes could be found running from left to right, repairing the damage to the city which held cause in the recent months. As each man and woman made their aid, posters and letters were posted through every home: The Acolytes of the Hileial are recruiting, and your hand can hold a steady aid!
  23. Crumena Izalith ponders over the letter. "Who is this?" he'd state out loud towards Vernian.
  24. On the cold evening of the 11th of the Sun's Smile, 1559, notices were sent out, pinned and delivered through each mailbox of the Celeinian residents. Written by Hileial Scribes, the statement would address the following: 'These are dark times, citizens of Celein, for from the shadows come daggers bent upon tearing apart the delicate structure of our fair home. Following a murder most foul, such circumstances have prompted the sudden retreat of Laethis Izalith and his closest family members; fret not, for he has left his son, Crumena, to watch over our home whilst he is away. As a result of these dire circumstances, the Maven and protector in these dark times, Crumena Izalith does hereby enact marshal law upon the land of Celein; the homes of all are subject to searching, whilst the entrances and exits of the town will remain constantly guarded. All knowledge of the killer is to be given freely to members of the Hileial, whilst withholding information will be deemed treason and dealt with severely.' -Maheir Vernian Ur'eial OOC: Something bad happened, Laethis and the other Izalith's have left for a bit and martial law has been imposed.
