Out-Of-Character Information What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: "Asterish." How old are you?: "18 going on 19." Are you aware the server is PG-13: "I promise, I'll behave!" Have you applied to this server before?: "First character, second attempt." Have you read and agreed to the rules?: "I'll try my best." What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "The thirty minute death rule. It just seems fair." Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: "Not to my knowledge." How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: "Googling 'Minecraft Roleplay Servers', oddly enough." Definitions What is roleplaying?: "Taking up the role and mannerisms of a character within a story for the sake of reenactment or creating a story around said characters." What is metagaming?: "Utilizing any information or force outside of the story to influence the characters within the story when they otherwise would not have access to said force." What is powergaming?: "When you fixate on a certain goal and eradicate any impediments to your quest through any means imaginable, even at the risk of the story's integrity." In-Character Information Character’s name: "Galmir Ireheart." Character’s gender: "A natural male, though you can't tell at first glance." Character’s race: "Mountain Dwarf." Character’s age: "He stopped counting around 50." Biography: "Galmir grew up in a small village south of Mount Ire, always being coddled by his mother and being harassed by the other Dwarven children for being considerably weaker. His Uncle, having taken up the role of the boy's teacher after his father's untimely demise, had him work with the local lumbering company to toughen him up and teach him the worth of hard work. Gal complained about the labour for the first week or so, but eventually became great at his job. He thought of all sorts of ways to make work interesting, and his new friends in the company claimed he livened up an otherwise dreary job. All seemed well until his mother grew ill. She passed while Gal was away and he blamed himself for abandoning her. He later set off to make a living on his own, far from home and the memory of his loved ones. A few years after he had left, the young Dwarf found a merchant caravan and decided to peddle some rare wood he'd come into. He was interrupted by an unfortunate assault by a group of highwaymen. He tried to protect his wares but was cornered and outnumbered by the horrid fellows. He had all but given up hope when a band of mercenaries rushed in and engaged the bandits. After the ordeal was over and the outlaws were staved off, Gal expressed disbelief at the merchants' willingness to pay the upstart sellswords. He thought that there might be more monetary gain in protecting people for a living, so he took up his late father's axe and began traveling as a fighter-for-hire. (I'm not really sure how to put a whole lot of lore in this. I didn't intend for him to be a very important character. He's just a sad lumberjack kid.)" Personality Traits: "He acts tough in front of his family and friends, but he doesn't handle strangers well. He usually ends up stuttering nervously around unfamiliar faces. He has proven to be extraordinarily reckless and hot-headed in battle, even for a Dwarf his age." Ambitions: "His one wish is to make his father proud." Strengths/Talents: "Aside from his natural Dwarven strength and sturdy body, his form when swinging a heavy weapon is exceptionally fluid, possibly due to his time spent mining ore with his father's company. He's also a wonderfully skilled fisherman, but he hates fishing." Weaknesses/Inabilities: "He sinks like a rock in deep water, and he has a horrible case of arachnophobia." Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He's about 3'4'' in height, weighing roughly 100 pounds or so. He has short, messy reddish brown hair hanging carelessly over bright blue eyes. He wears a rough leather cuirass fixed together with iron spaulders and a small breastplate, short hide trousers, small bracers over his wool gloves, and shiny greaves covering leather boots. He has an odd birthmark on his shin that he tries to hide. He also possesses quite a feminine appearance, even by the standards of Dwarven females. This leads to gross misuse of his unfortunate nickname. (Poor Gal can't even grow a beard.)" Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin:

(I solemnly swear I am up to no good.) Out-Of-Character Information What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: "Asterish. You see, it's like 'asterisk', but I'm Aster, so I made it more... Aster-ish. It's a pun. It's punny." How old are you?: "Old enough, stranger. (18)" Are you aware the server is PG-13: "I promise, I'll behave!" Have you applied to this server before?: "Nope, this is my first time." Have you read and agreed to the rules?: "Yessir, I will be an outstandin' citizen." What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "The thirty minute death rule. It just seems fair." Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: "Not to my knowledge." What is metagaming?: "Metagaming is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed rule set, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself."
