Vatari

Hello there! I joined back in January, and was super pumped about playing on the server. But then I got pretty busy with school/sports stuff, so I forgot about it. But now, since my time has cleared up, I rejoined! Anyways, I'm Vatari (Username's Vatari_) and I'm 15, living in the United States. My main character, Edarik, is essentially inspired off of The Witcher, or Geralt of Rivia in particular. I'm always up for RP or whatever, so just PM or however you get someones attention on this server/website :P. Anyways, hope to get to know most of you.

You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): I have been in RP like groups before, so all the rules are fairly common for me :). How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: How I personally get enjoyment out of games is putting myself in my characters shoes, also known as "Roleplaying" (a term I am sure you know all about :P). Minecraft is really the only "gamey" type game I play. Most of my gaming time is used up playing RPG's, such as The Witcher or The Elder Scrolls. So upon finding a deep, RPG-esc Minecraft server, I was pretty stoked. But to answer your question, I found Lord of the Craft through google. I was just messing around one night, and happen to stumble on this. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: As I previously described it, I would consider it "putting yourself in your characters boots". What I mean by that is that you would make make in-game decisions that /your/ character would make, not you. This can lead to making the wrong decisions, and, this is a scary one, loosing. Sometimes to go forward, you have to go backwards. What is metagaming?: I would say metagaming is really on the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to roleplaying. Basically, you make decisions that you would make, not your character. You know you get gold if you go down this path, but your character wouldn't do it? You take the path that leads to gold. What is powergaming?: Ugh, as someone who does "Elder Scrolls" roleplay on twitter, this one really bugs me the most. I have to deal with these people all the time, usually when our two characters get in fights. Sometimes you got to just accept the fact that you get caught, die, loose, etc. Basically, its that you do everything in your power to "win", or "come out on top". You get stabbed there? Let me just use some healing potions that my character did not even have until I need them, etc. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. **DISCALIMER: Writing out these long bio's are not my strong suite, as I like to develop story through RP, so excuse any... noobishness. Oh, and to the same extent, the lore my not completely be accurate. Not everything in this section is final, as birth dates, personal details, etc. I am hoping that a staff member can help me correct any mistakes I may have :). Now, without further adieu... ----- Davrig Vuenstuff Kragfall, of Clan Kragfall (A Smaller, less known, clan), was born Mid-years day (approximately June 22 Gregorian Calender), inside of the small clan house hold. His mother, Kyessa Kragfall, and his father, Djvanik Kragfall, were not of the richest of Dwarves. They may have a Clan, but living under the rule of the Kingdom of Urguan, that did not mean much. Growing up, he was treated with no royalties. His mother and father were of course naturally pleased with the new birth of the baby boy. During the younger times in his life, his father was almost never around. He ran a local bar, where lowly scum would mostly come. Although this took up most of his time, and he was never home, his mother was. She taught him most of what Davrig knows. For that reason, that is why Dravig places her as highly as he does. His younger years continued on like this, until later. His "teenage" years were a little different. He was constantly out, drinking. It was this time of his life were he discovered his strong love of alcohol. However, never being home proved to be rather unfortunate for his now aging mother. She was no longer in her prime, as they gave birth to him rather late. Having said that, this means that if she ever came under attack, he would be slaughtered within minutes. What of his father? He passed away, almost three summers prior to his teenage years. Anyways, now with the general back story out of the way, time to get to the story. Davrig was, as perusal, out drinking the night where is life would forever change. There house, the same old run-down stone hut he was born in, lived close to the border, or the gates, as they were. Meaning that if a intruder ever came in to ransack the stone town, he, or they, or she, would see this building first. It was the night the contraband of Orcs came stumbling into town. Obviously drunk, angry, and looking for something to burn, the rode hard into his small Dwarvish village. Fires blazing, they slaughtered almost every man, woman and child in sight. Where was Davrig in all this? Rushing back to his house, to protect his mother. By the time he peaked his hill, and got a clear view of his house, he knew it was too late. He saw a sight he could never forget. A heavily cladded Orc, dressed in armor that looked like it was made out of midnight itself, stood over his mother, with his long sword stabbed in her neck, laughing. Davrig froze, and dropped to the ground. The Orcs, done with their raid, rode out, leaving Davrig the sole survive of his village. That night, he swore and oath, that he will hunt down, and slaughter every last one of those Orcs. And he has been looking ever since. ---- Character’s name: Davrig Kragfall Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Mountain Dwarf Character’s age: 65 (still under construction, as I do now know the basic leaving time for Mountain Dwarfs). Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Personality Traits: Stubborn, Crude, Loyal, Witty, Harsh, Brave, and Courageous. Ambitions: Make as much gold as possible, stay alive, kill orcs. Strengths/Talents: Axe Fighting, Heavy Armor, Drinking, Short Distance Sprinter. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Afraid of Spiders, not good at running long distance, addicted to alcohol. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 4'10 in feet, 210 pounds, bushy beard, rugged.
