The Capture of Livius Flavius, 2041.
“To the Nornish barbarians, their Haeseni lapdogs and those whose beliefs lie in the All-Father,
Your Master of Gold & Coin will be flayed in thirty Saint minutes. If you value his life, then come forth in battle. Show us just how willing you are to die for your Godless cause – show us whether mongrels remain mongrels, or whether the blood that courses through your veins will endure as it did countless times before.
Castle Waldemer awaits.
Signed, Antoine de Bruges”
Five Men of Drusco rode upon the lands of Norland: Sir Jon, Georg of Barbanov, Antoine de Bruges, Cedric, and an unnamed Druscan warrior. Upon their trek to the Far North, they fell upon Karosland, greeted only by the cold air which chilled its humble township, now devoid of any citizens save but two wayward souls. The first was an old mage, a trafficker of some dark magicks, her craft likely fostered amongst such godless infidels; the second, the Master of Gold and Coin for the heathenous Crown of Norland. With efficient speed, Kerecsen Ivanovich and Cedric had tied and captured the Master of Gold & Coin. So did five men ride into Norland, and so did six men return to Castle Waldemer.
