Tom is a young man that comes from a middle-class family in Oren. He was born in 1552, in a small village, somewhat close to Savoy. His mother stayed at home most of the time, cooking, and taking care of the household and family. He lived with his mother, father, and younger sister. His father is the town’s smith. Tom always looked up to his father; a strong, and hard-working figure that taught Tom how to conduct himself, and treat others. He was educated at home, with books that his father would bring back every time he went away to buy materials for the smithy. Tom would never get to go with his father, for the roads could be filled with bandits or Orc raiders. Tom always said that it didn’t matter, that he could fight them off, but his father never let him go anyhow. He lived a happy and normal young life. He usually spent his time playing “knights and orcs” with his friends, fighting with small, wooden swords, and helping his father around the shop. During his teen years, Tom got tired of living in a small no-name village, with nothing to do but work. Tom aspired for something more, something bigger and more exciting. He would always see the Felsen merchants come around with so much wealth, and when they stopped at the inn, the would tell the most exciting stories that happen in the big city, how Orcs, Elves, and Dwarves alike go there on a daily basis. Tom had not seen that many Elves, let alone any Orcs or Dwarves. It was his dream to move away from the tiny town and open his own smithy somewhere in the Empire. At age 18, he packed his things and headed to Felsen. He said his goodbyes, and headed for the outside world. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Tom likes excitement and adventure. He’s driven to it wherever it may be. He hates being wrong or admitting defeat, sometimes he would rather fall than fail. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He wants to move into Felsen, start a smithing company, or become one of those wealthy Orenian merchants he would see in the village. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Tom is calm and collected. On the outside, he may even look fearless. He has strived to train since he was young, to keep his body in shape, and to stay agile. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Tom can be very stubborn. He hates admitting that he’s wrong. This gets him into trouble, and sometimes causes friction with other people. He would have blonde scruffy hair with brown eyes, his face would be marked with old scratches of where his friends tagged him with the wooden swords during their combat together he wears a light brown shirt with blue patches where he could put things in, he also wears light brown trowsers, which is held by a thick black silk.
