The Ministry of Justice is recruiting Detectives and Law-Clerks to assist the Office of the State Bureau of Investigation and Office of State Prosecution respectively. This is an extraordinary opportunity if you are seeking part-time employment within the government. We are looking at hiring around four to five hardworking individuals for each department.

As a Detective for the OSBI, you would be tasked with investigative work on cases and in criminal cases, gathering evidence for the State Prosecution so that they can put together a strong case. The Chief Commissioner is the individual that runs the day-to-day functions of this office.

As a Law-Clerk for the OSP, you would be considered a fledgling attorney who has not proven themselves as a Prosecutor of the Crown. They are tasked with aiding State Prosecutors with their cases. A recent development has allowed for Law-Clerks to pick up small cases to “practice” per se, under the supervision of a Prosecutor. Once you have shown exceptional knowledge of the Oren Revised Code and the Criminal Process, the executive that runs the OSP, the Attorney-General, could deem it fitting to offer a promotion to State Prosecutor- meaning you would be able to be assigned any case that The Crown comes across.

DESIRES TO DISMISS CLAIMS OF THE FOLLOWING PARCHMENT;

ON THE GROUNDS OF;

After thorough investigations the Ministry of Justice finds that the alleged claims of Siobahn O’Rourke stand as baseless, primarily due to the fact that there is no legal documentation existing of their birth or inherent existence. Imperial archives ensure to record all families of importance within the Imperial borders, whereupon Siobahn O’Rourke cannot be found within those archives.

Furthermore, in the archives of the Ministry of Justice, the records found through the Solicitor-General term of Basileios Baelius and thereafter Henrik Larson, it can be found that throughout the case, whereupon these claims are based, there is no mention of Ledicort d’Azor, George Kovachev nor Franz Sarkozy, which results in the belief of the Solicitor-General, that the sudden appearance of these individuals are most suspicious.

It has been recorded that individuals as George Kovachev, Ledicort d’Azor and Ostromir Carrion do not, and did not, have direct ties with one another as a whole. Therefore, it seems unlikely in the eyes of the Solicitor-General, for these individuals to be tied with one another in the statements presented.

To repeat the words of Basileios Baelius, the 7th Solicitor-General of Oren: wherein no man is above the law, no man above the judgement of law nor no man above the eyes of the Ministry -- we cannot prosecute nor punish individuals on baseless claims and unproven facts from individuals with no records inside of the Empire. We can prosecute people upon breachment of the law and the ability to prove those statements, but the evidence archived within the Ministry and the claim created here does not support the ideology of a proven crime.

To finish with a last statement in relation to these statements -- and once more to quote our current Chief Justice: “Should the scenario occur that any further evidence is provided to the Ministry of Justice, by the willing citizen of the Empire, which conflicts with the verdict of which the Ministry of Justice has concluded. The Ministry of Justice shall ensure further investigation to ensure such evidence, provided by the willing citizen of the Empire, is accounted for within the decision of the Ministry of Justice in relation to the accused. Solicitor General, Ophelia van Wick, idled within the low lit walls of her office, only that of a dim candle provided a guidance for the sleep deprived woman. Prior to a rushing courier barging into her office, she had been catering to a stacking pile of paperwork - such is what kept her awake these days.

"Ma'am- Ah.. Your Excellency, pardon me." A young boy spoke up quietly, approaching the paper-littered desk with a parchment in hand "A letter has arrived.. I was told it was rather urgent."

Ophelia sounded a tired exhale of irritation, a palm merely offered out to the boy to take the letter in hand - beginning to observe in silence.

"Godan.. This cannot be true? Surely.."

Thus unlike the various other letters she had left to stack, she began to read "A Haenseni Lady? Irene is, naturally, a fine woman. But Godan you have a curious mind, Franz." She managed a quiet laugh before spending the next few days contemplating her presence.

In light of the tragic passing of her Imperial Majesty Anne Augusta, an event that deeply affected each one of our imperial denizens and left behind a deep mourning within its wake. A remembrance Gala has been arranged, an evening dedicated to the feats and accomplishments that Anne Augusta achieved during her reign.

Upon the evening it is encouraged all those in attendance don black, a traditional sign of respect when in mourning.

The evening shall begin with a memorial prayer brought to us by the gracious Manfried, where all in attendance are encouraged to give a momentary silence.

Ladies and gentlemen of Providence,

I am Ophelia van Wick, I am an emigrant of Haense, a nation which my family left behind to start anew elsewhere.

I have lived a life of hardship, a rough life where the only thing that separates those who live and those who die is merely their capacity to persevere in even the direst of straits. Growing up in Haense made me tough, both physically and mentally, but most importantly it helped shape the ethics that I still espouse to this day.

I am an educated woman, coming from a family whose name was almost tantamount to a curse, unfit for discussion amongst the highest echelon of society. They thought us weak, feeble, and ignorant. Yet we learned, we triumphed when all odds were stacked against us and every man made sure that we would fail.

This is what I aim to bring to the Commons: a fighting spirit, indelible in cause, whose sole purpose is for the benefit of the people that this machine of government will serve. In this land of opportunity we must ensure that even the lowest of commoners, the poorest of paupers, has an opportunity within their lifetime to lift themselves up. I am living proof that hard work and education can take you into a new world, unfamiliar yet so tantalizing that you must set off on the journey, one foot at a time.

With this said, I will strive to make sure that businesses can flourish. With them might there never be a man or woman in Providence who starves on the street, unable to find work to sustain themselves. I will push for a strong education sector, so that there never again will be a child who becomes shackled to the life of indentured servitude due to a lack of education.

Lastly, I aim to set the standard that no matter what facet of government that one peers into, not only will there be a transparency the likes of which has never yet been found before in government, but also that they see only the most qualified individuals performing necessary functions. Government and politics are creatures who will forever be intertwined by their nature, yet this does not mean all facets of our political machines will have control over the lives that our citizens lead.
