Out of all the races I've interacted with as a Halfling. It has literally only been dwarves who have attempted to kill my character... I'm so confused. I would have thought orcs would have been the cruel ones. But they actually helped me when I first joined lol

  By all logic, any king should prefer a nation of honourable barbarians as ally in war over a group of pacifist farmers.

  @Medvekoma I think it's less caring about you guys having a strong alliance and more about the pointless hostilities towards Halflings. I can recognise that the orcs and dwarves might need to team up, especially to combat elves and humans. As otherwise they'd be hopelessly outnumbered. If you think in typical fantasy roleplay the orcs would outnumber everyone ten to one, the reverse is the case here.
  
  So yes it makes sense to ally with a barbarian horde. But it doesn't really make sense to attack pacifist farmers, especially if it's not for any real reason.

  It doesn't have to have any meaning to it. The dwarves have a more viking edge to them nowadays, and we raid for the glory, fun and riches we get from it. It makes sense if one stop trying to rationalise everything.
