There is always more qualified people on LotC than what can be perceived. People even have the potential to be great, no matter where they come from. History is full of people who have achieved greatness in either one aspect or in multiple, but even then these people are not without their faults.
For me, I’m always going to be either optimistic or pessimistic depending on where my mind lays that day. I’m not always expecting good things to come my way and even when they do, I try to not inflate it into creating high hopes. I have even been told that all I am is essentially an easy target for trolling and the like online, but this is a fault of my own.
Being an author can be hard for someone who has so many stories to tell, but yet falls short on writing them out as intended. I even don’t expect people to support me when they read this status and think that I’m a victim of some kind. All that does is create unyielding drama that doesn’t need to be on LotC.
I’m not attacking anyone on LotC for this status or trying to stir up trouble, but I’m writing this to get just it out and vent the stress out.
The thing I want the most is to be happy and roleplay with the community without having to feel like I have to look over my shoulder to make sure it pleases everyone. Not everything I do is what I feel like doing, but when I do those things, I just feel hollow.
I honestly don’t want to feel pressured to keep this to myself by anyone, regardless if they are staff or not. I just want to...

Since it’s late and I just honestly saw this i’ll make it short and collective:
@TheDragonsRoost Consider making a notepad journal instead of pasting venting on lotc, not to sound offending in the slightest but not everyone has to witness your internal thoughts at play, speaking from personal experience myself, I.. learned to show restraint with the populous for different reasons on a similar level, venting has its ups and downs- usually more negatives depending where you do it and if it’s with people you don’t know very well.
As @Wulfery stated before, one has to build up respect and admiration, work towards actual in-game goals rather than giving people a target on the forums.We practically joined nearly two weeks apart from one another (From my knowledge, I think mine was july 20th)
You’re better than this c’mon, rip the target off your torso and start rekindling.

I’m going to stick out for this guy...at this point, if he makes a single post, whether it’s good or bad, he’s going to get some **** for it. All I see is mob mentality from at least 70% of his ‘critics,’ and in him I see honest attempt at change. Even though he may not know how to change, or what to do precisely, he constantly replies to comments saying that he’s taking criticism, and is constantly polite no matter how much hate he receives. I can see that he’s thinking to improve. As far as these comments I don’t know why people are saying he has a hero complex on this post, because it has nothing to do with anything he said here. It is true he has a hero complex, but it’s clear he’s working on it. His stories are, maybe gradually, but still increasing in quality. And besides, all of his posts are in creative writing. Most people don’t even know his RP, and are purely being judgmental on his post. Not saying his RP is or isn’t bad, I haven’t seen much of it myself, but making an assumption when you don’t know is faulty. Worst comes to worst, don’t read them. They’re under creative writing, not role play...and I would never encourage him to stop. I have a baby sister I love and adore, and if she wanted to sing, I would encourage her to do it no matter how many people said she was horrible. The same case is present here. Dragonroost likes to write, and he should keep writing, no matter what any of you say. It’s just a vent post, and not even a topic, but on a status update...so it’s not as if he’s trying to stick it in your face. We all have our vent posts, and I don’t see you giving them any hate for it. I see a person trying to get better, and since no one is helping this guy out flourish into a good RPer, I will step up.
