  1. Natalie Julia accepted the missive from a lady's maid within the Augustine while conversing with a small group, grumbling while reading the letter. "They are quite young to be getting married! And I believe her name is spelled Anastasya..." After a short discussion on the topic the group returned to their original conversation.

  2. A young mail boy moved through a large estate in search of the Miss Natalie Beaumont. After searching every room the boy finally found her on the balcony, handing her the letter while taking many labored breaths. The young lady quickly dropped a few marks into the boy’s hand before waving him off. Natalie let out a loud huff as she opened what she assumed to be another gossip column or wedding announcement, the boring aftermath of a successful social season. Instead she a greeted by a much more intriguing letter, her attention falling solely to the parchment before her.

“You must Sacrifice something to marry her.” She’d mumble to herself, the words which she’d previously thought to be a test of love now sent her heart into her throat. Surely the man Chosen to be Arch-Chancellor wouldn’t be a murderer.” She’d tell herself, doing everything to convince herself the man was good. As she mumbled to herself on the balcony the dream of a beautiful wedding she wished to have during the first social season came flooding into her mind. It was almost identical to what she imagined during her relationship with Lord Leon, yet instead of ending with the bride and groom merrily walking out of the chapel there was an image of a bride laying on the ground, her dress stained red with her own blood as the guests simply move past her as they exit as if nothing was wrong.

  3. Natalie Julia grumbles to herself upon hearing the news, plopping herself into her oversized chair with a loud groan. "It's sad to hear Henry is marrying someone like a Halcourt! A horrible family!" At that Natalie took hold of a bottle of gin which rest on the table next to her chair, taking a large swig. "Hopefully she abandons her Family, and if not, let us hope she dies an early death."

  4. 36 minutes ago, Marquisee2 said:

“It is baffling how the writer of this proposal continuously mentions Anne I, a carpet muncher who was bullied into relinquishing her most important vassal. The paramount duties of a liege is to keep their vassals in check and stomp out any insurrection — they are supposed to subjugate, not surrender.” Renée Antoinette began, “And the poster girl of this treatise did exactly what a liege should never do, she surrendered. If those who authored this hope to be taken even remotely seriously, I suggest they start hunting for a new mascot.” the Auvergnian crone finished with a brief laugh.

Natalie Julia polishes the marble bust of Anne I which rested on a podium in the foyer of her house, staring into the woman’s stone eyes with awe, such an amazing Empress and representative for women.

  5. Natalie Julia read over the missive, allowing a soft sigh to escape her lips accompanied by a shake of her head. “If women are able to inherit then what will men do? They will lose their value.” She’d then move to to a large oversized chair, plopping herself down into the fluffy cushion. “What would be the point in marrying if not for a Man’s title and money?”

  6. Natalie Julia seemed to find the Article quite hilarious till she reached the part about her and Henry, her face falling blank as she stared at it. "I do not believe we were courting in any way. We were discussing the women he liked, whoever write this clearly needs to mind their business."

  7. "Oh look! There I am." Natalie Julia chirped to herself while sipping at a glass of wine, lifting herself from her oversized chair to move towards a small desk in her bedroom, opening one of the drawers and adding the paper to a large stack of her favorite publications!

  8. Spoiler

Do not Metagame any of this information. Any names included, or events would not be known nor would any character know what Natalie is doing.

Unlike many of the others within Providence, Natalie Julia did not grieve the woman. No tear was shed, no sadness in the slightest, only worry, and a peaked curiosity. She wasn’t friends with the girl in the slightest, but death should cause any women to grieve. Perhaps her life had hardened her to death, watching everything you care for slip through your fingers while you walk past the people who’s lives you’ve destroyed everyday can do that.

Natalie sat at a desk within one of the smaller rooms of her estate. The room was never truly used before now, it was meant to be a children’s bedroom, but those dreams were crushed, it later became a room to keep her chatty pet bird in, yet now that was gone too, the only reminder of the creature being the blood stains across one of the walls.

“Does this have to do with your Sister?” She’d ask as she stared at the portrait  of Rhea which has been included in the missive sent out by d’Arkent family. “Your death was sudden, were you sticking your nose where it didn’t belong?” She once again asked a question to the portrait, falling silent for a moment as if she was waiting for a response. “Perhaps he or one of his other companions is beginning to go insane.”

At that Natalie began to slowly place the little bit of info she had on the case in a folder labeled ‘Rhea’, sliding the thin folder into its place within her desk. Next to enter the drawer were folders with the names of many of Oren’s most popular Socialites and Nobles, names of people many would not dare to touch. At the end came a set of folders with an abundance of material within them, the first had the name ‘Arlo Cooper’ written across the front, it seemed to be filled with the most information, almost needing a second folder. Next came a folder titled ‘Coraline d’Arkent’, then ‘Brandt’, and finally ‘Inui Ba’ikana’ which happened to be the thinnest of the files.

After every file and folder was in it’s place Natalie quickly locked every drawer within her desk and swiftly left the office. “Perhaps I can trick Anton into leaking some information.”
