  1. “I hope grandmother Crestfall can keep the elf in check.” Anne Josephine commented to herself as she reached the announcement from the Vice-Chancellor in her large stack of papers. The d’Arkent quickly waved over a Lady’s Maid of Sunholdt as she moved on to the next paper in her stack. “Fetch me a quill! I suspect some of the Directors will be desperate for workers. It’ll be the perfect time to find a job.”  Anne shouted as she pushed her papers to the side, clearly not understanding she is too young to work.

  2. Within a private room of Sunholdt, Anne Josephine stood upon a fitting platform as a gaggle of aging women moved around her, lifting luxurious fabrics of red and blue towards the d’Arkent for her to choose from. After vibrant fabrics had been picked out for multiple dresses the women moved to black fabrics. “Do we always have to prepare for the worst?” Anne grumbled as she stared at the blacks, reluctantly picking out a fabric with ornate golden detailing. “This one. It could fit a modest event which is great because, No one is dying!”  The young d’Arkent commented, refusing to believe anyone would be dying soon.

  3. Dressed in black, Anne Josephine sat on her knees in the corner of her bedroom clasping a wooden Lorraine Cross. The young d'Arkent murmured prayers over and over again to herself, praying for her great uncle's soul, her grieving family, and even her puppy that seemed very sad. She didn't really understand how praying worked, but she knew it made her feel better and kept her from having to listen to her mourning relatives.

  4. Anne Josephine dug through every inch of her closet, tossing out floral and pastel dresses left and right in search of something to wear to the ball. "There isn't anything Fall-ie in here!" The little girl shouted as she stomped her feet against the ground. "And who wears furs? That's gross!" At that the young d'Arkent dropped to the floor, pouting and mumbling to herself. "Someone come clean this up!" She'd yell, a young maid quickly rushing in to clean the mess.

Nikoleta Kovachev sat silently in the Haense palace - eyeing the paper and trying to decode it. Then, with her bright blue eyes, she'd spot her cousins name upon it. "Why is he in it and niet me?" the girl questioned, knowing fully well that her cousin was not around to attend such.

The little girl was completely correct, her older cousin having missed the event because he mixed up the date.

  6. Natalie Julia lets out a loud huff as the sound of a knock echos through her house. The woman would mumble a string of vulgar words to herself as she moved towards her door, a rag in one of her hands. Upon accepting the missive from a young mail boy she quickly read over it while moving back through her home. Upon returning to her original spot she’d lower herself to the ground, resting at eye level with a bust of HIH Princess Amadea. She’d return to polishing the bust while idly speaking to herself. “I only hope the Emperor lives long enough for this idiot to be a rotting corpse.”
