Issued on, the 20th of the Sun’s Smile, by the House of d’Arkent

    To the general populace of Balian;

The House of d’Arkent is saddened to report the missing nature of its current heir, Don John Lothar d’Arkent, a previous Concio, Court Jeweler, and Wine Magnate. The Don was last seen boarding a ship leaving the Balianite harbours, a ship manned to explore and potentially breach the storm which encircles the continent. The Ship’s fate is unknown and no corpse has been identified with the D’Arkent’s characteristics on the beaches. He is to be presumed dead until otherwise found. Please bring any sightings of the Don to the Household immediately, and please bring your prayers to his beloved Wife, Dona Caterina d’Arkent and their Children.

    Spoiler

Hi! So, I thought I’d just keep it short and sweet. This is just a little post to give his story some conclusion. Still, John was a delightful character to play, and I am very grateful to Erik and Annieann for giving me the opportunity to play, along with everyone else who made his story fun, shout outs to Critter and Esoterica. The Character has been otherwise permanently shelved.

Spoken, on the 24th, of the Sun’s Smile, Year 145, of the Second Age, marked by the slaying of Gazardiel by Drekur’Ungri, and Murdok’Lak.

    To the Númenedain Queen, I address this;

Your letter has been heard, and I offer my response; I am disappointed by no private correspondence; given our prior status as allies as with the pact I had signed with your late-Father, I would have expected such. Likewise, you dishonour my lands, people, and Clan by referring to us as Krugmar, which has been defunct since Rex Skaatchnak of Clan Akaal, after he destroyed the Snaga and the ideals behind such. But this seems dire; seeing our allies’ blood spilled pains me. I sanctioned no such attacks upon the realms of Man as Rex. I wish to offer you these terms to help build a lasting peace in our shared lands as neighbours. Though I will offer this much information, as it stands, the Kazin’Kul remain an independent clan, holding no status or ranking in our Klamor.

    Thus, to our ally, the Númenedain Queen, I offer this;

    I. The Rex, his Roth-ob Gothim, and whomever he wishes to bring along with his party shall meet with the Númenedain Queen, in conference with whomever she wishes to bring in attendance.

II. This Conference will occur in an unaffiliated or otherwise unaffected nation with no alliances to either land.

III.The Ultimate purpose of this meeting will be to procure a lasting peace between the two to avoid a costly and bloody war

Thus, this is what I decree, as is my right as the Rex of the Urukhim.

    I. The Kazin’Kul will cease any attacks on the lands of Petra and the Nùmenedain, under the order of the Rex.

    II. failure to abide by such will result in full compliance from the Horde with the Nùmenedain’s terms, which will include;

A.Whitewashing and denouncement of the Kazin’Kul Clan from the Honourbound Lands, in violation of the Honour of Krug.

B.The Iron Horde will aid the Nùmenedain in ridding Aevos of the Whitewashes, as is the tradition of the Horde.

C.The Iron Horde will commit to a lasting peace between them and the Nùmenedain Peoples.

MC Item description (the exact description that will be used for the MC item if this MArt is accepted):

A Warhammer, measuring roughly 58” in height, dominated by the hammer's shaft. The head is granite-like and shined, appearing to be typically well-taken care of. Along it are various tribalistic engravings, signalling the origin of the Uruks.

The hammer’s surface is relatively flat on its ends, save lucerne-like details, focusing the force exerted but one’s strike, a standard implement. It seems to be forged of Anorum, and stained gray. It possesses a heft of 15 lbs. It sparks, and crackles - lacking rhyme and reason. A Shaman who touches the Warhammer would feel an immense spiritual presence within it, whispering, praising the Storm.

Curiously, the Weapon provides an animist bound to it an abnormal “high”, of sorts. This sense allows them to take more Fruum upon themselves, and achieve some feats of elementalism thought lost to ages for their abuses in the ages of yore. Truly, a weapon of abnormal qualities.

    Effect(s) of the Artifact:

    Storm Ascendant

Spirit-Tainted, Ascendant, “touched,” all words that described the wicked effects of the Animist’s Relic. Upon acceptance of the Relic, a Storm Animist must Spirit-Walk or Commune to their Pacted lesser’s plane, present the Weapon to it, and wish to devote their bodies further to their Elemental using the Hammer as a means to do such. After concluding the dealings, the shaman will find their body changed or altered at the cost of being unable to devote themselves to another Elemental Lesser.

    They are Storm Incarnate.

Changes seemed to be split between physical and psychological. Though the Element of Storm stretches far beyond Lightning, it seems one cannot ignore the original lesser’s influence upon the relic, stubborn. Ergo, the Ascendant will find their skin tone changed to their shade of white, violet, dark gray, or a navy-esque colour, the colour of Lightning. Their veins seemed to be crackling and flowing with electricity, often contrasting the colour of their skin tone, though when cut they bleed normal all the same, eyes crackle with Lightning. All reflective of the Lesser of Thunder, Zgur’thruk-al’s own appearance.

    Storm’s Reprieve

A Boon, granted seemingly inadvertently by the heightened connection to the Element of Storm. The Ascendant will find themselves able to stomach [5] more Frum upon themselves, becoming a great boon for Animist rituals which require such. And most curiously, they’d be able to perform the Animist spell “Raindance” alone, though they must take the entirety of the [10]  Frum cost upon themself and requires [5] Emotes to complete. A final boon it provides is for the Ascendant’s voice to carry akin to thunder - booming.

    Zgur’thruk-al

Named “Thunderbringer '' for the patron Spirit of the Relic. The Ability would do just that, a weaponization of the Element of Storms, unseen since the Elemental resurgence and subsequent disappearance. Essentially, this allows a group of Animists to rain Lightning down from above, requiring the Ascendant + [3] additional T4+ Animists to use. Though this process requires a "set up" of sorts.

Step One:‘less the target is covered in metal already the enemy must first be shot at and hit with ammunition, cannon balls, ballista bolts or arrows, created with materials that serve as poor conductors, or are non-metals, seeing as metal is anathema to the element of Storm and would react poorly to the blood-like storm. With a preference such as bolts and arrows for its ability to remain skewered. The ammunition would then be saturated in Blood-like-Storm and Fulgr Leaf and fired, represented by an additional [1] Emote to the firing process of cannons, bows, and crossbows. If targeting an area, the treated ammunition must be shot into the area.

Step Two: whether naturally or by Shamanistic means (Farseer’s Blessing of Urin, or its equivalent should it be replaced or Animism’s “Raindance”), a strong rainstorm must be present to use the following:

Step Three: A Group of the Ascendant + [3] T4+ Animists must convene at the scene of the battle and must shout praises to Neizdark or Zgur’thrak-al for [5] Emote rounds. [3] of these Emotes are to be Old Blah chants. And, of course, the Group is liable to disruption via being attacked or interrupted by any means that would normally interrupt a siege equipment crew. Upon the [5]th Emote, a member of the Group would roll for the precision of the attack. Essentially turning the Shamans into living artillery, each shot would subject the Group to gaining [10] Frum split between each other.

The Attack would manifest as a mighty bolt of Lightning crackling down at the target or location that the ammunition had landed. Damage, on larger creatures would be subject to the Creature's own resilience or resistance to electricity. VWith the guideline of being akin to being shot by a heated cannonball. It would struggle to precisely hit descendant-sized beings, in a crowd, even if they're pierced, Likely only being able to inflict third degree burns to exposed flesh, doing the same to a group if shot into a mob. If target onto an area, such as a Wall, or other structures, it would inflict great damage to it, subject to the ET wants. With a Guideline of being more destructive than a trebuchet. Alas, Lightning only strikes twice, meaning this ritual can only be used [2] times per ET encounter.

    Red Lines of the Artifact:

    General Redlines

    Spoiler

    - Must be a Storm-Animist to use.

    - Before access to the abilities of the Hammer can be granted, one must commune or spirit-walk with their lesser of Neizdark. This process must be consensual IRPly and OOCly and the Player must be aware of the limitations imposed by connection.

-When the Hammer is brought with the Animist to conduct this ritual, it is a spiritual representation and cannot inflict any harm on anyone. And cannot be brought into the Spirit Realm otherwise, period.

    - Upon connection, ST Management is notified to update the MART page.

    - One cannot multipact with other Elementals while bound to the Bulldraagh.
    - Only one player may be bound at a time.

    - The enhanced Pact consumes a second spell slot while bound.

    - If an individual is unbound, they will regain the slot after [1] OOC Week. And cannot be rebounded to the Bulldraagh for [1] OOC Months.

    - While in possession of the Bulldraagh (Mechanically), the Ascendant would find themselves weak to anti-magicks attacks such as Null Arcana, being treated as a magical construct for such, keeling over for [2] Emotes, with a cooldown of [1] Emote, Auric Oil would have a similar effect should it make direct skin contact.
    - The Ascendant cannot wield Thanhium while in possession of the Warhammer. A Thanhic Wound would stop the use of the Warhammer's effects and all magics until healed, less' they inflict Thaumburn upon themselves.

    - All perks of the Bulldraagh require it in active (mechanical) possession. With the exception of being Anathema to Earth Animist, this is innately known as long as they are in possession.

    Storm Ascendant

    Spoiler

    - All changes granted by Storm Ascendant must be strictly non-combative in nature, and are largely freeform in nature. One can go as crazy or as subtle as they wish, as long as it follows the redlines below and they possess some sort of trait.

    - Acceptable changes would be; Appearing to have electricity in their veins, eyes, hair, etc. Skin colour changes, crackling with electricity.

    - Aesthetic changes are non-permanent and fade when they lose connection to the Bulldraagh.

-Horns cannot be granted via aesthetics.

    - As per Animism Lore, an Earth Animist would immediately be aware of the Ascendant’s relation to the element of Storm, should they be able to openly see Storm Ascendant granted traits. How this is Roleplayed is up to the individual Earth Animist to follow their redlines when encountering a devotee of their opposing Element.

    - This is not a disguise. One’s face may not change- Ergo, the Ascendant, remains recognizable as their Descendant self.

    Storm’s Reprieve

    Spoiler

    - When Solo-Casting “Raindance,” the Ascendant must roll at least a 4 or higher on /roll 10 for success.

    - This doesn’t make anyone anymore resistant to Thunder, Electricity etcetera.

    - It does not allow the Animist to do any other group spells alone.

    - If Bulldraagh is lost or not on their person, the Ascendant will lose all benefits and access to Storm’s Reprieve.

    - While the Animist may make their voice louder, this is merely fluff and cannot be used to interrupt the casting of other Magics. And mechanically, it is represented with #s

But you’d definitely win a screaming match. Nor would the sound frighten an Olog.

    Zgur’thruk-al

    Spoiler

    - One must have the explicit approval of the Presiding ET to use this ability, and fully communicate the extent of what the intend usage is.

    - Event use only, cannot be used in normal player CRP.

    - ET have full freedom to modify any of these redlines and mechanics if need be or should they want, but they should be considered a guideline.

    - This should ultimately be considered a more flavorful way to use a siege weapon.

    - Each process must happen after each other, eg. Before beginning to charge up the weapon, you'd need to pierce the target first with Storm-like Blood treated ammo, and make have a Rainstorm in the area.
    - The process of piercing is not needed if the target is already conductive.

    - The Wielder of Bulldraagh must follow all redlines of Storm Animism casting when the MART is in use.

    - Damage is largely subject to the presiding ET, but generally, what is recommended is that it’d hit decently harder than a cannonball against a large creature, perhaps singeing a small area when in use against a horde or crowd. However, this can change for whatever reason the ET wants.

    - Due to the overpowered nature of IRL Lightning, getting hit with a bolt should not be treated like actual Lightning, in terms of stopping hearts and such. But rather an extremely heated physical force. But the damage is subjective to ET.

    - Ammunition is Cannonballs, Bolts, Arrows (should Arrows be able to pierce the armor), etc., which have been saturated with Blood-Like Storm; a bottle of Blood-Like Storm represents this in a Storm Animists inventory. or another's Adding an additional [1] Emote to the loading and firing process to cover the ammo in it.

    - Only 4 Bottles of Blood-like Storm can be used per Storm Animist per Event as Animism Lore. Effectively, the use of a Blood-like Storm ammo would act as consuming one of their reagents.

    - The Storm Animist responsible for the blood-like storm must be present at the event to allow proper tracking. Ergo, one cannot bring an offline’s Storm Animist’s blood-like storm to bypass this redline.

    - If approved by ET, they will designate what is reasonable and unreasonable range (With a Guideline of 60 blocks as per cannon lore), or impose any additional hindrances that they wish upon the crew.  The position of the crew should be discussed prior to the event.

    - The crew must be exposed to the sky, and cannot hide in a building or deep underground. The Crew must be gathered up near the Ascendant and are looked into standing still, 'less they break the ritual.

    - Each use imposes a collective [10] Frum upon the Animists, the distribution of which must be decided and tracked by a member of the Group prior to firing. If able, Animists should set their Prefix to the amount of Frum undertaken (Ex. [5/10 Frum] to allow proper tracking of how many more blasts the group may make.
    - Ritual is limited to [2] times per Encounter, unless the presiding ET approves a greater number.

    - Zgur’thruk-al cannot be used to target individual players, IRPly at best it is too wildly inaccurate to target a singular descendant in a crowd, the target too small. Though collateral damage to the Firing Party would be an exception.

    - How to determine the accuracy of the ability is up to ET discretion, with a guideline of rolling a d20.

    - The ET may determine what happens should a 1 be rolled, with the guideline of severe injury to the Ascendant leading the ritual, albeit not immediate death, and minor injuries to aiding Shamans. Severe injury would appropriately prevent continued use of the artifact.

    - Zgur’thruk-al may be used in both offensive and defensive sieges if approved. Capable of damaging defenses such as walls.

    - There is no minimum range on the Zgur’thruk-al; however, in situations where it is used at close-range, ET may enforce any consequence for doing so, including, but not limited to, temporary deafness, severe burns, temporary blindness, burnt limbs, and more!

Explanation of the effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

The Bulldraagh is essentially a conduit that allows an Animist to devote more of themselves to their Lesser, in return being allowed to access further abilities and being able to stomach more frum. Though, this doesn’t minimize the pain/damage inflicted by said Frum, only allowing the Shaman to stomach it further before collapsing. This was created by using a pre-existing Warhammer infuse the praise of Shamans crying out in praise of Neizdark and their lesser Zgur-thruk’al, as is the way that most Shamanisic MARTs are created. Overall, this is intended to be a largely community-ish based mart, that offers a flavourful alternative to a siege weapon, albeit more powerful, but that is the nature of what a MART allows. Anorum, likewise, is a poor conductor of electricity, thus allowing for this interaction of a weapon bearing a Storm Animist enchant.

The Klamor, though a recent tradition, has been a staple of Ork him governance. The Klamor serves as a Clan Moot of sorts, where the Clans of the Iron Horde are called together to an assembly. These assemblies may be called at any time by any denizen of the Horde. Any of those who hold Ashtkaars and thus accept the responsibilities are expected to be in attendance. Examples of the purpose would be challenging the seating Rex, or Roth-ob Gothim members, should they be found inadequate by another Ork . Klamor may also be called to announce a declaration from the seat of the Rex. Other claims may be brought forth to the Klamor; such as Clan’s request to the throne. For a claim to succeed, save others that require alternative arrangements, they must receive half the present Ashtkaar members' approval. Then, the challenge will proceed in accordance with the position's traditions.

Old Blah, for the Highest Word, the Taaraz Ghashan form the core leadership of the Horde. Or, as the name implies, the word that must be obeyed. It composes solely of two, the Rex, and their Dominus. They possess the mouth to speak on behalf of the Horde.

Consequently, these positions are, at times, amongst the most volatile and violent in the entire Horde. Reminders are often needed of their presence, with the Rex requiring constant klomps to keep their place. They will preside over Klamor, though any of the Horde’s own may call them to settle their claims. The Rex may not hold another position concurrently as the Rex-ob the Horde. Though the Dominus may remain a Wargoth, but may not take up another position of the Roth-ob Gothim. Foreigners may contact the Taaraz Ghashan to establish connections with the Horde.

The Ultimate Authority of the Goi, they who serve as the King of Ork him. The Rex remains the highest power in the Goi, both physically and willfully; considered the Apex of Ork him, the Rex fights to maintain a constant iron grip upon the Ork him as Krug, the Oldfather, did within the times of old. The Title of Rex originates from ancient times when Krug crowned himself the Rex-ob Ork -uk, or the King of All Orcs. This should not be confused with the Rex being Krug-Reborn, as comparing ones-self to Krug is sacrilegious. In times of old and contemporarily, the Rex is amongst the physically strongest or most clever Ork  of the Goi, less they are dethroned by another, following a philosophy that the strong must always be led by the strongest. As the ultimate authority of the Ork , the Rex may speak for all of the Ork s and, along with their Dominus, has the sole authority to make diplomatic decisions considering the Horde’s stance on wagh and alliances. This is to say, authority in any situation will always default back to the Rex, their word being the law of the land, and to ignore or go against it makes one liable to being punished for their ignorance. The Rex may also serve as a guide for Pathwalkers who seek Honourary Status in the Horde.

The Rex is a turbulent position, being handed down several times throughout the history of the Ork him. Many times has a Rex been dethroned after only several after some Cactus Weeks. Becoming Rex is an arduous process that one cannot simply walk in and do through sheer physical strength. A certain cunning is required. To have your claim acknowledged, one must gather the support of at least half of Clan Ashtkaars, as a Rex without the support of the Clans is a weak Rex. Likewise, being unable to negotiate or win support shows weak-mindedness. Once this is done, a Klamor will be called, bringing the challenge to the Rex. A Challenge must be loud and known. There is no honour in the way of shadows. A Rex may not discard a valid challenge and must actively defend their authority. Often, Rexes come from Wargoths of Clans who’ve drummed up support and made alliances, though Clanless Rexes such as Kor’garr the Clanless of San’Velku have reigned. A Challenger must be of the Ork him through birth or spiritual rebirth; this is to say, outsiders who have not proved their merit cannot be Rex.

The Challenge for Rex should be the Apex of Ork him values and traditions. With no exception, it shall be a Hur’Mauk, or if agreed upon mutually, a Mat’Mauk, a battle to submission or death, respectively. Though traditionally, it is to submission, as the death of an Ork  by another Ork  is frowned upon. In the cases of Rex of old age, Mat’Mauk serves as an honourable passing into Stargush’Stroh. The Victor of the Challenge shall serve as the Rex of the Horde. The Rex of the Horde holds Gakh [III] votes in any Klamor claim and may discard any claims they deem useless or detrimental to the Horde. Likewise, the Rex appoints the Roth-ob Gothim, should they fall vacant; otherwise, they oversee the various challenges to such.

    Currently, the Rex is Kybal'Akaal.

The Dominus serves as the second-in-command of the Horde, acting as both Rex’s mouth and fist when needed As the Rex’s mouth when they cannot be present, the Dominus wields their authority as a substitute. If action is found to be detrimental by the Rex, the Rex may strike decisions made in their absence down immediately. Many future Rexes are born from those who have been Dominus. Often it allows for Ork s to gain wisdom, as being the second in command of the Iron Horde requires practice as a wise and tempered Orc in mind, body, and soul In times of harsher action, the Dominus serving as fist can intercede as judge of a code-breaker or announce a call to arms in the Rex's absence. The Dominus also serves as the diplomatic emissary of the Rex and may advise and negotiate on behalf of the Horde when needed, especially on time-sensitive matters. The title of Dominus comes from ancient times, originating from the Clan Dom. The Daughter of Krug, Dom, was the second wisest Shaman of the Ork him in all recorded history, second only to Krg.

The Dominus remains uniquely positioned in the Horde’s hierarchy in that another cannot challenge it unless’ they seek approval from the standing Rex of the Horde. To balance this, however, they serve purely at Rex’s pleasure, able to be appointed and dismissed at any time by the ruling Rex. Often many Rexes will appoint their own Dominus when ascending, while others may keep a previous holder of the position in power, depending on where Loyalties lie. The Dominus also serves as a potential guide for Pathwalkers who seek to be reborn as an Honourary. These duties mean they must possess great knowledge of Ork  history, honour, and strength. In times of great crisis, when the throne of the Rex remains vacant, the Dominus will serve as the temporary Rex of the Iron Horde until a new Rex ascends.

In Klamor, the Dominus shall hold Dub [II] Kounts upon their Ashtkaar and can vote such upon any topic in favour of the Rex or their Clan. When a Rex is absent, the Dominus will preside over a Klamor, hear the Goi's claims, and possess the authority to discard any invalid claim. Afterwards, the Rex may overrule such if they disagree, a reminder of the Rex’s ultimate power over the Goi.

    Currently, the Dominus is Madoc'Lur.

The Roth-ob Gothim, in the common circle of Goths serves as the Hands of the Horde, influential Ork s who hold positions of power in the Goi and control various aspects of orcish life. Members of the Roth-ob Gothim may be Wargoths of Clans, though this is not always the case and is certainly dissuaded. To ensure that rampant abuse of power is not present, only one additional position in the Roth-ob Gothim may be held by a particular Wargoth at any time. The Challenge to take another’s position in the Roth-ob Gothim is unique to each role if the ability to do such is possible. A Member of the Roth-ob Gothim must be an Ork  or undergo spiritual rebirth to become an Ork . One may only serve as one member of the Roth-on Gothim at a time to not allow the Ashtkaar to stack in a single Ork ’s favour.

Proverbial, the Motsham shall function as the Voice of the Spirits amongst the Ork him. A Position of extreme reverence, the Motsham is a role atypical of most in Ork  society. Although it is profoundly spiritual and is not decided solely by way of the fist, a physical challenge could be an appropriate way to decide the Motsham. But, it is not the common Ork  who will decide the Motsham, nor the Taar-az Ghashan, but the Shamans of the Goi, the honoured wise men and women, will talk amongst themselves and choose the Voice and anoint their Prophet. The Motsham serves as the Spiritual Leader of the Ork him, a prerequisite to such a position being that the Ork  is trained in the way of the Shamans, the Ancestral ways of the Ork him. Taught and passed down throughout our race, born from the mightiest of all, Krug. While they ultimately serve at the Rex’s pleasure as an advisor and work in the name of the Goi, the Rex, Dominus, and other Gothim hold limited sway.

But, it should be noted that the Motsham may still be challenged by their fellow shamans based on a Shamanic Council called by the challenger where their claims are discussed by the Shamans of the Goi and given merit. Responsibilities of the Motsham are, regulating the Spiritual Affairs of the Goi, the construction and management of Shrines, spreading the word of the Spirits, and leading the Shamans of the Goi when they must be called together. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

    Currently, the Motsham is Gormokh'Akaal

The Targoth is the militaristic leader of the Ork him- Leading the Krug-Hai at their pleasure. Though, at their core, the Ork him is a militaristic race, and every one of the Goi’s members is expected to raise arms in the name of Krug and their Brothers. The Targoth is responsible for leading those more-war-minded and allowing them to focus their strength and passion. The Targoth serves to lead them into battle, less’ the Rex must do so personally. Accordingly, if absent, the role of the Targoth shall go to the Rex until suitable challenger approaches and proves themself worthy of the challenge. Historically, the position of Targoth has been volatile, frequently changing hands, as the challenge to become the Targoth showcases key Ork s traits. Without exception, it is always a klomp, occasionally to the death, but always brutal. As the strong must always be led by the strong. Stagnation is not tolerated within the position of Targoth, as the strong must continuously hone their strength. While developing the strength of others.

The Klomp for Targoth remains a highly traditional practice, despite its simplistic nature of being a slugfest. Both a challenger failing and succeeding can show the tremendous success of the Targoth. It should be their ultimate destiny and goal of the Targoth to lose their position eventually with honour. As failing to another signals, they produced an Ork stronger than themselves. While winning, their challenge signals to the Goi that the Targoth remains powerful and thus worthy of their position. Responsibilities include the maintenance of the Krug-hai, leading the Warriors of the Goi into battle, and the regular maintenance of the goi’s “sharpness,” as a dull blade is useless, allowing opportunities for the Ork him to relieve their bloodlust. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

The Military-Leader of the Horde, the Targoth, has very little sway over the personal guard of the Rex, the Keshig.

The unsung hero of the Goi, the Grubgoth remains in charge of feeding the Goi, developing its cuisine, and managing the Bhraf-Mauk. The Grubgoth is in a unique position within the Government of the Horde in that it has over its existence, many Ologs have filled the role. An unusuality, however, amongst the most famous of the Grubgoth was that of Grubgoth Wud, an Olog. Often, an Olog’s obsession with food becomes a tremendous boon in their ability to serve as Grubgoth. Likewise, in managing the Goi’s tavern, an Olog’s strength is terrific in breaking up unwanted bar-klomps. Any denizen of the Goi may be the Grubgoth, it is open to be challenged. Typically, the challenge of a Grubgoth involves a massive cook-out, where the cuisine and skills of the Grubgoth and the challenger are tested, as their meals are judged by various members of the Goi, including Gothim and the Rex. Likewise, the Grubgoth can acquire assistants to assist in their duties, though they do not possess Ashtkaars. The Grubgoth should not fool one, as they most know the goi's history and culture, perhaps serving as one of the first figures Newgrizh will interact with. They hold an Ashtkaar worth Azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

    Currently, the Grubgoth is Toad'Yar.

The Yazgurtan remains unique, with dub (two) individuals occupying the positions. Commonly known as “Stewards” within the common tongue of the Descendants, the Yazgurtan assigns blargs (homes) to the Ork him. The Yazgurtan also serves as the architect of the Goi itself if they possess such talents. Though, in recent times, the Yazgurtan also served as managing and collecting the taxes of the Goi, the ability to set the taxes of the Gois remains with the Rex. They simply manage their collection and ensure it remains a smooth process. Due to the lack of a proper way to challenge a Yazgurtan, the Yazgurtans serve purely at the pleasure of the Rex and Goi. The Yazgurtan can acquire and maintain their own “assistants,” which serve at the Yazgurtan’s pleasure and fulfill various tasks. In short, the responsibilities are to manage the blargs of the Goi, construction, the taxation of the Goi, and the finances, acquiring of wealth for the Goi, via managing its foreign stalls. These responsibilities may be divided between the two, as one may focus more on accumulating wealth, and the other the blargs, or whatever setup they find works. They each hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

Currently, the Yazgurtans are Kretz'Ox 'Yar.

A Spiritual Successor to the Snagagoths of Old, though refreshed in the modern age of the Horde, where slavery is forbidden. The Krimpgoth relieves the burden of the Dominus and Rex in aiding those who wish to walk the path of the Honourary. They will administer trials and judge the worth of those who wish their souls to be that of an Ork . They will maintain and update the Trials to ensure they are relevant to the core qualities of the Ork him, Strength, Honour, and Reverence to the Ancestors and Spirits. Though, in times of wagh, the Krimpgoth shall also manage the prisoners of the Goi. The Krimpgoth is appointed directly by the Rex, but may be removed from their position via the way of Klamor via a majority Ashtkaar vote should they be incompetent or stagnant, and a new one may be appointed by either the Rex or another majority Ashtkaar vote. Though an indirect role, the Krimpgoth must remain knowledgeable of the Goi’s practice. Like the Grubgoth, they may be amongst the first individuals a newgrizh of Ork him blood meets. An additional duty is maintaining a grand list of Ork him that have be whitewashed from the Horde for their dishonourable acts. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

    This position is currently Grimruk'Lur.

Again, another unique position atypical of the core Ork him archetypes, but valued nonetheless. The Skriptgoth is a scholarly Ork  who sits upon the Roth-ob Gothim and acts as a historian and the highest word on scholarly matters of the goi. Born from the loss of numerous decades of Ork him history from devastations which have plagued Ork him, it is the primary responsibility of the Skriptgoth to keep note of Ork him history and reclaim the race’ past. As well as record contemporary events such as Klamors and make note of the results of such. Along with the former responsibilities, the Skriptgoth also manages the library of the Horde, currently the library of Barbog, named for an esteemed scholar of the Horde. As well as managing the Ashtkaars and producing them. The Skriptgoth serves at the Rex’s pleasure and is typically appointed and dismissed accordingly, though. The Skriptgoth may take assistants as they please for whatever projects they desire to do. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

    Currently, the Skriptgoth is Vacant.

Wargoth, Swampgoth, Kukaal, are all many names for the same position. The Wargoths occupy a central position in the Horde, being the leaders of recognized Clans. These unified Wargoths for the Roth-ob Mazauk, or in common, the Circle of War. It is well known that a Rex reigns supreme only as long as the Clans still support them, thus they act as a counter-weight to the Rex’s power. However, all Clans are expected to serve the Horde, to keep the Ork him peoples unified as a single Horde. Clan Life is a crucial part of the goi's livelihood and health. Typically, the process of becoming a Wargoth depends on internal clan traditions. As all clans differ in culture, stretching from the Laklul-praising Ork s of Lak, to the merger clan of Akaal, borrowing from the traditions of three great clans of the past, to the scholarly and spirit-zealots of Yar. Typically, clans form from a great past ancestor, such as Lur, amongst the oldest of Clans in the goi, whose actions were worth immortalizing their name in Clan. Wargoths, thus Clans, form the majority of the Klamor, with the main point of the gathering being a meeting of Clans, and so appropriately, they make up the majority of the Ashtkaar kounts. Each Wargoth has an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount, which may be used in any vote, demonstrating their importance. Before a Wargoth is made official in the eyes of the Rex, therefore the Horde, they and Gakh [III] of their Clan’s Members and their to-be Wargoth before the Klamor, where they are voted upon.

An Ashtkaar is a slate, typically formed of bone or another material relevant to the position which it’s made for. An Ashtkaar must be present at Klamor for one’s vote to be valid; this goes for all positions, including the almighty Rex. Each position will have an Ashtkaar made for them by the standing Skriptgoth; in times of the past, it would be blessed by a Shaman and put through the  Aanghum Znarim-ob, and blessed through a series of chants by the Clan’s Patron Spirit. Clans may have multiple members on the Roth-ob Gothim, in addition to their Wargoth position on the Roth-ob Mazauk. Subordinates of their Clans do not necessarily vote in line with their Wargoth, though they are liable for defying their Wargoth. Though, if they fail to appear and their Wargoth does, their vote will be counted with their Wargoth’s. If neither shows or the position is not filled, all absentee votes shall be given to the Rex as the voice of the Ork him. Ashtkaar shall be recreated for each new Rex of the Horde to commemorate the rise of a new Rex.
