The Farseer sat upon the seat, it creaked beneath his weight- Never had the chairs of Nor’Asath faced such a foe, an Uruk. Opposite him was his Student, Primach Netseth Loa’Chill, the two barked and puffed, indulging in the Cactus Green as they discussed the lesson. Of course, this was ultimately unimportant in the scheme of Kybal’Akaal. So, the chant began, the Teacher taking the lead their vision was obscured, filled by nothingness- a leisure walk, of course, something to get their mind off the disaster at Celia’nor. But, as Kybal lifted his hood, and spoke, it was made clear this meant much mor, unveiling two Ivory Stubs which crowned his head.

They found themselves flung into the Spirit Realm, likely to a lesser of Leyd as they had called out His name in their chants. Odd grasslands covered the realm, though the ground was far from solid as if from constant warfare, or use, it was muddy and damp, one could easily slip and get a face full of it, how comically. A Mimicry of the Mortal Plane, yet- It seemed inherently alien still, as Kybal directed their eyes upwards, the sky, a perputual faint shade of crimson, likely a reminder of Leyd's ultimate Dominance over this plane. Mutually, the two discovered tracks- Prints, of the being who reigns over this land as Goth-hai, the Lesser.

Kybal guided the Mali’Ker across the realm, the pair occasionally falling in the mud. The Realm bent around them as if the Spirit had noticed their presence and beckoned them to it. And so they came upon the Half-Bison, Sigûrzûrz, Ilzgul-ob Endurance and Physical Fortitude. Nervous, the Primach took the lead and called out to the Ilzgul. It stood, easily towering above the Uruk and his student as it came to its hind legs. The Beings discussed as the lesser set out a challenge, stop it. Netseth, came first, as he stood in a clear patch of mud, the Bison charged and unleashed hell on him. Causing him to sink further into the mud if he was not resilient enough. Yet, he succeeded. But, next came the Uruk, he pondered on thoughts of his own endurance, that he must survive for his people, for they are the pariah folk, and there is much he must do,these would grant him victory, or… Perhaps, he allowed his victory.

Yet, the outcome was all the same as the Pact was created.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Lutaumancy

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Lutaumancy is a branch of Shamanism that strays away from invoking the Spirits, and instead focuses more on the Ancestors. Particularly, a Lutaumancer is a Shaman which is able to travel to Stargush’Stroh, the afterlife of Spiritualists, like all Shamans, they do this through a mix of drugs and old blah chants. They may also invoke the Ancestors in other ways, such as Audio or Visual Resonance, which will be expanded on later. Or even invoking the Blessing of Kor, Spirit of the Dead, to dispel Ghosts or those who have rejected death. At the moment of writing this (March 2023), Lutaumancy is a Feat, however, in future rewrites, this could change. It is important to note that Lutaumancy does not allow a Shaman to travel to the Realms of Greater and lesser  immortal Spirits if had alone.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

There are no specific subsections of the magic to Lutaumancy, as it is a subsection of Shamanism itself. However, abilities are split up into Spirit Walking to the Ancestral Realm, which is pretty much as it sounds - A Spirit Walk but to the Ancestral Realm, a Lutaumancer may bring more power as they gain experience. The Blessing of Kor essentially allows a Lutaumancer to devour a ghost, letting Kor temporarily use their body as a vessel, at the cost of fatiguing them. Soul Resonance split further into audio and visual. The former allows a Lutaumancer to conjure the sounds of the Ancestors' memories, ex. In an arena, conjuring Audio Resonance would likely create chanting or cheers. While Visuals being much more advanced would allow one to conjure a hazy projection of an Ancestor to communicate and display their memories. Neither of these should be used to metagame.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Kybal’Akaal stands in the arena, ideally watching the Uruks fight in front of him - Allowing them to settle their issues in the traditional ways of the Urukhai. As a smirked donned on the Uruk’s face. As he began to tap his foot against the floor- Creating a steady beat as he focused.

[!] Smoky mists exited the Lutaumancy as he opened his mouth to pour forth his chant. “Krug agh Kor, Ilzgul-ob matûrz khlaar-izish agh traum-ul”. His word reverbing across the cave.

[!] “Urukri-ul matûrz-ob hon-ul–ob lab grish” He said, as the Lutaumancy’s Mists poured onto the floor in a rather eerie manner. As suddenly, the sounds of cheering and praise could be heard, encouraging the brawl in front of him.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Kybal’Akaal approached his Student, a Goblin, as he dragged her away from whatever she was doing- Akin to a Mother Cat dragging away her kitten. “Latz muzt learn huw tu invoke di Ancezturz without travellin’ alwayz tu Ztarguzh- et iz a hozh tuul fur zure. But, nub alwayz nekezzari.”

[!] The Goblin was dragged away being unable to resist the Gray Uruk- But nodded, releasing she had not choice!

Kybal’Akaal continued, bringing the Goblin to a workshop and setting her on ground. “- Get tu wurk, while mi intruztz lat.” - “Zimpli, latz muzt invoke di zpiritz wit di old tongue- azking Kor tu allow dem tu temporaril influence diz land ov di living.”

[!] The Goblin understood, and went to some tools as she began to tinker away with some metallic parts- The sounds of which becoming almost a steady beat and a way to focus in her mind.

[!] Finally the Goblin begun their Chanting, crying out. “Khlaar-izish Kor, gaakh-izish zatal izish gorgulbhont-ob matûrz” She cried, having enough mastery of Old-Blah to mutter it while working it.

[!] And so, the Gobbo continued her tinkering as the dust- and particles around her  in the workshop began to flow and shift, indicating some sort of presence was forming. “Krug, uk-krank-ob urukri, ghaak lab grish pukhl-u!” She concluded, as the sounds of tools clanging- metal on metal.

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

Personally, if I’ve been informed of powergaming, I’d have an immediate talk w/that student inorder to correct the behavior, or fill in some gaps that they weren’t able to understand or that I possibly didn’t put enough emphasis on during lessons. Alternatively, if okay’d by the other parties, I could observe their roleplay. However, if they fail to correct their behavior, dropping the student or putting them on hold could be considered, and if the situation is serve enough, I will have no choice but to allow Moderation and ST to issue infractions are they need

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Farseer

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

To keep it brief, Farseers are a possible branch of Shamanism- Which, is an individual who has a relationship with the spirits and is able to speak Old Blah well enough to contact them. This can be for spirit walking or invoking them in various ways, such as purifying voidial stuff. Farseer generally involves invoking the Spirits in positive ways (for the user at least) for blessings (Which usually reflect the Spirit they are invoking, ex. Bregthar would toughen someone’s skin) or to bestow visions on people. This is in contrast to the Witchdoctor, which is mutually exclusive with Farseer Shamanism. Generally, the learning process of Shamanism seems to be largely about becoming proficient in Old Blah to be able to communicate with the Spirits, and most of the Spells of the Farseer directly involve using Old Blah. Farseers are also notably able to bestow Spiritual Tattoos upon people which has some sort of effect when the tattooed individual participates in an activity reflective of the spirit. Spirit-Walking, though a core Shamanism element is something that Farseers are able to do, being able to self-teach themselves or connect others to animism.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

In Farseer specifically, no- But, it is a subsection of Shamanism as a whole. Which was summarized above. But, Farseer itself contains no subsections itself, but spells are divided into Blessings, Inflict Vision, and Spiritual Tattoos. Blessings is divided further for each Spirit, generally each blessings reflects the Spirit it is calling upon as was said before. While Visions will usually also reflect the Spirit the Shaman is calling upon. Otherwise, there is no real subsections.

In more detail, Blessings are done with the aid of the Farseer's tool (Tier 5, I believe it may be cast without one), one calls upon the Spirit to form a Temporary Pact, this is done by connecting to the spiritual plane with the help of Old Blah and their tool (if needed), before praising the Spirit's domain and mechanically rolling. Then, if successful over [2] Emotes, the blessing manifests as the Farseer pours Mana, this also displays itself in a tell. It should be noted that blessings are typically temporary unless stated otherwise in lore, going for a default of [6] OOC hours, which can be increased with additional Farseers

Visions are calling upon a Spirit's domain to temporarily shunt another's soul to their plane, whether willing or not- Though, a willing participate may stay within a vision for longer than [1] Emote. This is generally done by chanting in Old Blah, and the Farseer dreaming or creating the image he wishes to project. Requires [3] Emotes, [2] of which must in Old Blah, generally praising the invoked Spirit. Unbroken gaze is required for those [2] Emotes. However, at Tier 5, should the Farseer have Hair, Flesh, or the blood of whom they're targeting, they may strike them with a vision at any range, requires [4] Emotes, with [3] of Old Blah.

Farsight is the ability for Farseers to be able to glimpse into the Past, Present, or even Future events with the Spirit's aid. Of course, none of this guarantees the Spirits will tell the truth. OOCly, this ability requires the aid of ETs to use proper, and its requirements will be based off whatever they say.

Tattoos are basically a spiritual brand that a Farseer can put on an individual- Aesthetically, it is just a tattoo until the individual participates in an activity related to the Spirit's domain, then it may take on a free-form comestic appearance, for example, whenever an Ilzhonal with an Aztran tattoo stargazes or makes starmaps their body could light up with stars. This is done by a ritual, largely freeform consisting of [5] Emotes, calling upon the Spirit, blessing the individual's skin, the spirit answers by giving them the tattoo.

Kybal’Akaal approached his student, his Warhammer in-hand, yet it was clear the Uruk was not active with it, merely using it as a glorified walking-stick. “Todee latz muzt learn huw to inflict viziunz upon odderz, iz uzeful zkill to hav. Fur mani reazunz, az et allowz for lat tu dizable a perzun fur azh tik.” He mutters.

[!] And so, the Farseer’s student stood up- A Tome in hand, likely some sort of notes on Old Blah, as the Student was not yet fully fluent. “Mi khant old blah, yub?” He asks, atleast knowing that much.

Kybal’Akaal chuckled, nodding as the Shaman continued his instructions. “- Invoke di ilzgul dat lat wantz tu zhuw a viziun ov, fur mi lezzunz, mi zhowed a viziun ov Aztran- But, di viziun muzt entirely bi latz own dezign.” He concluded, willingly allowing himself to be victim to his student’s vision.

[!] And so the Student withdrew his drum- His Farseer tool of choice, and began to beat it, establishing a rhythm to help him focus as he opened his mouth to mutter “Khlaar-izih, Aztran goth-ob nût agh ilzi!”

[!] The Student went silent as he contemplated the vision that he would deliver to his teach, before deliberating it. So, he opened his mouth once again and spewed more Old Blah “Traum-ta, groth-uruk lab gothûrz nût, mâdûrz ilzi Aztran!”

[!] His Teacher having submitted then allows the Student to lunge his hand forwards, covering Kybal’s eyesight completely. Kybal would find himself falling in a never-ending darkness as his soul was shunted

[!] And so the Vision appears, Kybal would find himself in a thin pool of water, looking upwards at a blurry image of what appears to be a night-sky, albeit lit up by hundreds of stars- Then began to swirl and dance, creating a spectacle for the Uruk. Soon, they disappeared as Kybal found himself back in his blarg.

Within the Bell-Tower of Caras Anor, Aer'dir, sat within, the Elf lacked his typically plate-armor. Instead, he had donned his robes, comfort, he seeked comfort. His face planted firmly within in hands. And, so the Paladin simply shook in place and weeped as the news was broken to him, his son was dead, he knew this was coming- Twas the curse of Humanity. But, this gave the Elf no comfort, why would it? His Liege had gained just another soldier, he had lost his son, what fairness was there in this...? Sounds of Thunderclaps could be heard from the tower that day, as a Starbreaker exited his tower. Eventually, calming his temper as he looked for his other son.
