    The Comital House of D’Arkent is pleased to announce the future birth of the next generation of D’Arkent. The Dona Caterina Alexandrina d’Arkent and Don John Lothar d’Arkent, Heir to Salia, welcomed a pair of twins into the World. A Strong Baby Boy, and a Beautiful Baby Girl. Blessed is the house of d’Arkent, as not but a generation ago this house was nearly rendered extinct by the Brother’s War. So many Children heartens the House to see, as my Pater once told me the tale of how we escaped such extinction from the dastardly war.

     

    The Boy has named Joseph Andreas, followed by his Sister, Mary Aurelie, one looking akin to their Pater and the other to the Count of Salia accordingly. Named in accordance with d’Arkent traditions, as has been our way throughout the years. It is wonderful to see that even in these times of peril. We are still witness to the blessing of Children in our humble Kingdom.

     

    Given the Mori’quessir menace and the continuing safety concerns, baptism has not been planned and will be handled when circumstances change along with the firstborn Son, John Auguste. However, well-wishes are appreciated from our fellow Peers and Houses of Balian.

    Rex Ar-Borok’Akaal is dead, fallen in Battle. He had many enemies, I know this well- Many have wished him dead, they have received what they wanted. To his Brothers, we will remember him eternally. He has earned eternal valour and glory in the Halls of Skoiug Goiz, something which none of you can take from him, I have spoken to him privately in Stargush, he wishes to be left alone in death. His mortal form has been laid to rest in our shattered city of San’Velku - A Warrior’s Death, well deserved and honourable. He will be remembered always, I will see to this personally. To his enemies, you have won, he will no longer trouble you, he is no longer some “Darkspawn”, he is no longer our Rex.

    I offered a duel to the Borok, with the united backing of the Goi’s Clans, his body had been poisoned by the sacrifices he had taken to peer into his, no, our Future, to steer us away from disaster. He wished to die in battle, with a weapon in hand. I allowed this, he submitted to my challenge and my worthiness. I would ascend to Rexdom upon his death, he handed to me a weapon, the Warhammer of Rex Ugrad’Lur. Never, did I guess it’d be so soon, but I will bear the burden gladly and bring glory to the Urukhim I will soon take upon this self-same venture of asking the Ancestors and Spirits, where shall my people live next? I know this land is doomed, we will fight regardless, it is in our nature, we are a noble people after all.

     

    Ar-Borok would rather have seen our city ruined before it was occupied by the Mori’quessir scourge. The Grizh-ob Krug would not see such defeat from an inferior foe. I have led my people away from the ruins of San’Velku, and into the ruins of San Luciano, where we will hold out until this land dies, or until we all perish in our Keep. We do not relent.

     

     I will not stop my efforts until the glory and honour of the Urukhim are returned.

     

    To our Allies, as Rex, I wish to keep any-and-all pacts which Ar-Borok’Akaal had signed that were valid at the time of his death. Should any of you wish to rediscuss our terms, you will find me. I am an Uruk of reason, of course, and I will rule as such. To our Enemies, the wrongdoings will never be forgotten, for they have been written in the song of our people, woven in ink and blood, an Uruk does not forget. To the Urukhim, I will build for us a city of Horns, San’Brîu, where we shall thrive as we always have.

    The Comital House of D’Arkent is pleased to announce the birth of the next generation of D’Arkent. On the 4th of The Amber Cold, the Dona Caterina Alexandrina D’Arkent  and Don John Lothar D’Arkent, Heir to Salia, welcomed into the world a beautiful baby boy, John Auguste D’Arkent, prematurely, albeit healthy. The Household expects the young D’Arkent to someday take the reigns as Count of Salia.

     

    The Child was named John, for both our noble King, and his Father. Likewise, has been bestowed the middle name of Auguste, named for his Grandmother, Princess Augustina Theorsia Novellen, a fierce woman who has never backed down in service to the Kingdom. He seemingly takes after his Grandfather, sporting a head of blonde, and eyes of grey. The Household hopes for many more children to come in the coming years.

     

    Given the still recent death of His Majesty Alexander I, and the safety concerns surrounding the Adrian menace, a Baptism is yet to be announced..

    tbf i think every lore has it's haters. Shamanism is just unanimous because we all hate our lore (this is not to shit on anyone who worked on it, ik y'all were under-pressure, constraints, and worked hard) While I am a Druid, I haven't been apart of the community proper for a year. I like this rewrite, just I feel like its alot of words, which is okay, I think. Maybe I just have the reading comprehension of a 10 year old. I am curious why templar compatibility was removed, it was explained to me that there was a lore reason beyond chase's gf templar being a druid, that these two magics were compatible.
