What is roleplaying?:  Pretending to be someone your not and acting like the would in the world and with people around them. 

 

What is metagaming?: Using information that your Character would never  have for example; Your a random human roaming the countryside, minding your own business when suddenly you spot a band of orc raiders heading for your city! You quickly /msg your captain and tell him that an invasion is on its way and to be prepared.

 

What is powergaming?: Making your player all powerful and undefeatable. For example;You are a random  elf who is walking on the street you walk by a goblin who throws an insult at you and you clinch your fist in anger. You type in chat *random elf  begins to glow and a great power is emitted from his body, he looks at the goblin and the poor devils soul is burned leaving but a pile of ash.  the poor goblin had no chance.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): My name is Mike Vaivoute and I was born in Oren Into a small and somewhat poor family. I had one brother whose name was Gloseth, he was at the age of 18 when I was born. My father was named Terrowin, he was a hard working lumberjack, who was also a drunk. My father would come home each night, drunk as a dog and more foul mouthed than a Daemon. He would treat my mother harshly.  Goliath and I were treated the same way. My mother blamed the vodka and said he didn't know what he was doing. I couldn't understand how could he treat my mother so poorly and she still love him and say it wasn't his fault. My mother, She was the thing that got me through boyhood, when ever i fell she would pick me up and tell me that i was the most precious thing in the world. Gloseth was the only real father i ever had he taught me how to hunt and how to survive. One day my father didn't come home from work at his usual time. This had happened before so we assumed he was drunk in an alleyway some place.The next day a lumberjack from my Father's work camp came to our house and told us that my Father had died. When i heard i was shocked but i didn't cry i just stood there, watching while mother wept and my brother tried to comfort her. The man said that my Father had come in to work the day before, still drunk. Some men tried to tell him that he wasn't in any condition to do logging work. Despite their efforts my Father insisted he was sober enough to work, so no one stopped him and none dared try. Maybe if he had listened and gone home to sober up like they told him maybe....it would be different. After my Father had a proper burial, our family had to deal with problems of life without a father, the biggest problem being a steady income. Gloseth was determined to find a job but none wanted a the son of a drunkard who killed several loggers to work for them. So eventually the only way we got money was from hunting and selling pelts and meat to people along the road. Also i would run through Oren every morning looking for add jobs to do for people, it were these jobs that taught me the joy of helping others. The years went on and one day i was in Petrus and i overheard two men talking of a new land that had been discovered they called it "Vailor."  As soon as i heard the news i ran home as fast as i could to tell my family. "This could be a new start!" I shouted out loud "We could start over." And soon enough i found myself on a ship sailing to the new land. During the trip My mother caught a bad fever and died, i was devastated. How would i live without her? As hard as it was to accept the fact that she was really gone, Gloseth and i got through it together. And so we arrived in The New land and what happens next only fate can tell.
