Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: A huge fan of roleplaying and minecraft. I'm fun to be around ( so I've been told ) and look after my friends.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: At the very least 10 hours

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying for me, is transforming yourself in a different person and meeting people and doing things that you wouldn't do in normal life. Roleplaying opens up entirely new worlds and allow you to be whatever you want!

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I'm an admin on an Anime Roleplaying Forum and have been admin on another top server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is when you use basic knowledge and knowledge gained during the game, to improve your gameplay and find your way to victory. It also means being able to adjust to another player or character's actions accordingly.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: As the name speculates, Powergaming is when someone goes for the optimal form of gaming. Powergamers want to become the best and don't care about the experience that gaming or in this case, roleplaying offers! A sad sight to behold!

What do you expect this server will be like?: A new world to discover and meet new people who like roleplaying as much as I do.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on R_O_C_K_Y's Hardcore Server ( http://www.hcserver.com/ ) Where I was an admin and have been there for over a year. The main reason I left was because I simply couldn't find the time to fulfill all of my Admin duties on that server, the forum on which I'm also an admin and my normal life ( homework, exams etc )

Character Name: Gwayn

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Caucasian

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

As a young lad, Gwayn was trained in the arts of hunting by his parents, both extremely skilled hunters. Together they roamed through the forests and saw various spectacular creatures. One time, when Gwayn was staying home alone, he found his father's skinning knife which he used to cut the skin of killed animals. As he tried to grab the highly placed knife, he fell down and caused the knife to fall in his eye, blinding him in his right eye for good. His parents thought that he could never hunt again but to their surprise, his aim had actually increased! When his parents became to old to hunt any longer, they settled down in a small trading post to the south. Gwayn remained in his elderly home until he got engaged to a young girl named Selva. Selva was the daughter of his father's best friend and her skills with a bow were almost equal to Gwayn's!

He and Selva had been friends for a long time and when he finally told her how he felt, she replied that she had felt the same way for a long time. They lived happily for several years. After 4 years however, something unexpected happened. Early in the morning, when Gwayn decided to go out and hunt down breakfast, Selva bid him farewell and gave him a small kiss. When he returned after a few hours, his house was pillaged and Selva was gone. On the table, there was a blood-stained note and Selva's wedding ring. The note was short but Gwayn's face turned white immediately after he read it.

"We have Selva. You shall never see her again Gwayn!"

In these current days, a few years after Gwayn found the note, he still tries to find Selva. The long and harsh journey he's been through has not changed his spirited personality one bit however, as he still loves to have a drink once in a while and makes a good living selling his wares which he hunts himself. He wants to take Selva back and create a new home for her. A place where he can keep her safe and protect her from any harm. However, even though Gwayn's Now, in his late twenties, Gwayn is on the hunt, and he's looking for his woman.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To find Selva and continue hunting.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A good ol' bow and sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Marksmanship and the abilities to build a cottage, lodge, hut or farm almost anywhere!

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? As my character is a secluded one who does not like to meddle in the affairs of others, I simply stand back and wait. Should they actually attack the halfling, I will not stand idly by and take them out with two well-placed arrows between the eyes. However, I'd do so from a hiding spot as stealth and precision are everything when using a bow.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I walk up to the man and simply say that I'm not interested since I enjoy making my own items. If he continues however, I throw my cape back a little and reveal a sharp knife, used to skin animals. That should be enough to frighten him.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Check for any signs of recent visits by another human being such as an unmade bed, a burning furnace or a tamed creature such as a dog. If I find none, I shall take the usefull items with me and leave the rest. I'd also make sure not to leave any traces.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I try to explain my current situation with something like charades to them and try to make them understand me. If such an act does not work, I continue my harsh journey until I find another civilized place.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I observe the situation carefully and would scout their camp at night. After this, I'd return to the guards with the information I gathered and take my leave. Gwayn shall be glad to assist, however, HE decides how much help he offers.

Your definition of roleplaying is decent, but could be expanded upon.

Your definitions of meta and power-gaming are incorrect, a simple forum search should clear up any confusion.

Caucasian is not a sub-race on Lord of the Craft, please read the wiki for lore-related information.

Your biography, however long versed, is brief on the actual characterization of Gwayn. You need more meat as to who he is and what he is all about; you also need to pull in more lore-related material.

Please write your open response questions in full roleplay. They also need to be fleshed out and expanded upon. You also change points of view while writing them, from first to third. It'd be nice to see a fluid perspective.
