In character Character Name: Astër Melâne What Race are you? : Elven/ I think it’s Mali in elven What Sub-Race are you? : wood Elf Biography: I was born into a stable family of caring elves known as the Melâne’s, which lived in the city Alras. No catastrophe happened to them but old age. As an only elf child from a wealthy family, I have been given many privileges, never gone hungry, had everything I wished for and nothing haunts my very existence. I was very young during the war I have faint memories of it. I only remember the few wounded who returned. One of whom was my father. Luckily with the help of medical experts and my mother’s love and care My Father made a full recovery. During my school years I was popular, all elves and humans spoke to me, but who could blame them I took full advantage of their parent minas by providing them with luxuries such as sweets, sugar and occasionally fried chicken, that their parents had forbidden them from purchasing. By my third year I had come to grips with my future “I’m going to be a merchant!” I told myself each morning. It was my daily Mantra. By 16 years old I had set up a small trading post and began to show the general public of Alras, my capabilities as a merchant. It did not go according to my great plan! I guess not everyone’s thinks like school kids, as it wasn’t long before I noticed that adults are not sweet and sugar fans. So I thought of items, worthy to sell, weapons, and armour? Too expensive to purchase in bulk, plus I will have to consult with the blacksmith and he will want payment too. Ores? Gemstones? It will sell, but I hate dwarfs and for sure I will have to consult with them too…. It took me days’ work out, until I awoke one night yelling “random, anything, everything!” it was so obvious the people of Alras want a selection. That morning I grabbed my sack and head off. “All I need is a couple months of hording, and I will have enough items for a year.” I kept telling myself this and travelled back and forth, deposit the goods at home and stock up. Sounds easy, but I was wrong. Half way through the second month I had been ambushed and looted. “Let’s just drop this off at home and in the future hire someone to do it for me.” Then just as things where looking up, there’s sound of a broken branch. Creatures were moving around the forest, around me. “Bandits!” they been tracking me, damn it I should have never let my guard down. Guess I have to fight them off as I did last week (barely made that night I thought). I drew my hunting knife and readied for a long night. I managed to hold of four before they up there game, and begin with I throwing knifes. It is like being attacked by sparrows as I kept receiving multiple knifes to the gut. I look around trying to triangulate the thrower, but as a result I took knife a across my left eye .I didn’t even care, I didn’t even feel it so why should I be in pain. They could do anything I am not budging .The knifes stopped darting at me in an instant. Now blinded in one and the other drowning in blood, I had no sight. Shielding the blood form my one good eye I noticed a fist come straight to my face. I’m out cold. I awake by the sound of shouts of bandits enjoying their new loot. I open my eyes “I am in a tent? I ignore the searing pain runs down the left side off my face. I find a luxurious mirror with jewels at it hilt, and crystal blue glass. Staring at my sapphire reflection I notice I have bandage over my eye “great now look like a pirate.” I admire these treasures for a moment then it occurs to, me there all STOLEN! I need to get out of here it gather my stuff clothes and the mirror. Just as I walk up to the leave, someone comes in. I fall back in a shock, crashing into my sleep bag. I turn and see a beautiful woman offering a hand up. I take it gratefully and now that I’m stand I see she about 23 -25 maybe. Her Mediterranean skin matches the olive tents, her flowing dark hair sparkling in the sunlight. She’s just perfect. “Um you okay?” she asks. What she mean? I realize I’m drooling. “Oh right um sorry about that, so were you coming to check up on me?” I ask foolishly. “Yup just came to check up on your scar as soon as it’s healed you can continue on your journey.” She replies “so let’s see the scar. She removes the bandage softly reviling the scar “Oh, its terrible!” she squealed. “What no. let me see?” I take out the blue mirror to see a nothing but a basic scar running along my lids over a now grey pupil and over my eyebrow. “It’s not that ba-.” “Hahaha!” she laughed “I was just messing around it healed fine.” Her laughter was so hysterical her hair shook around reviling her pointed ears. “You’re an elf too?” I say surprised. Fixing her hair she replied “yes Wood Elf. You?” I freeze what Elf am I? “I don’t know.” I whisper “I guess high El-.” “No you’re not a high Elf you features say otherwise.” She stares at me observing my posture and face like a cat. “Oh am I a dark elf then?” I say anxious to know what sub-race I am. “Off course not.” she giggles “I can’t say for sure but I think you’re wood elf.” “Wow. It’s a lot to take in.” I say confused. There are couple minutes of silence. Until a she grasps my hand shows me out of the tent, around the camp and through the forest and on the path to Alras. “I hate to say but you must continue on your journey.” She says with a sense of sadness. “So I this is goodbye?” I ask. “Yes, oh by the way I never got your name wood Elf?” she asks with a sly expression. “Astër Melâne.” I shoot back. “And you?” “Miclë Ärta.” she Responds. “May our paths cross again one day?” I take a mental recording of this moment as she disappeared into the forest and I set foot on the path. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Answer: I would approach the two warriors with a slow stride and begin to work my charms in speech. “Well hello now why on earth are you harassing this poor gentleman?” I say sarcastically. “Jog on mate.” Armed warrior one says gruffly standing tall over me. “Now don’t get your chain male in a twist.” I chirp. “Oy!” Armed warrior two “he said jog on.” And sends Punch in to my torso. “Well.” I cough “Well this no way to treat a politician.” I say furiously. “P p p politician” they both stutter curiously “sorry sir, we didn’t mean-” I cut them off “Now let’s pretend this did not happen before send both you to the Alras dungeon! We would want that would we?” I say demandingly. “No sir” they both squeal, dropping the money as they running away. I Help the Halfling up and pack his belongs. “Thank you sir.” He says contently “and good to you luck in politics.” “Ha. I’m not a politician. Answer: I great them as I normally would and ask of food and temporary accommodation In their own tongue of cause. I would want to be a burden to them either so once I’m good, I’m gone. 5) You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offers their support. First I need to know what kind of reward or bandits I’m facing. “So what kind of reward are we talking about?” I ask curiously. “Well maybe couple 100 minas or so.” “Sounds Interesting I guess I’m in.” Weapons? I don’t like anything but my axe. “I would like to use my axe that ok with you guys.” “Ok what about armour and protection.” I say anxiously. “Well is there’s going to be a whole squad of troops so it’s safe and perfectly planned nothing will go wrong.” They reply. “So why do you need me?” I grin. “Um err.” Emanate from the group. “I have one last question, what colour tents do they have?” I add. “I believe its bordeaux red.” Reply’s the chief “So you in?” “I’m not interested plus, you don’t need me with warriors such as yourself.” I laugh sarcastically as I leave the crowd. Powergaming isn't exactly the opposite of Metagaming, but your definition beyond that is correct. Your are missing two question from your Application.. Your Biography didn't really change.. All you did was fix the names... Please try and edit that.. Still your formatting is very unreadable and I ask that you check such out.
