Arming The King

Iosanguin woke, having rested for a few hours after the culmination of his labors

it'd been weeks worth of work, the walls in his room at the inn were now covered in canvas that he'd used for writing and drawing on, numerous metal contraptions were strewn around the room in various states of disrepair

in a long plain bag was the fruit of his labor, shaped of more pieces than even he was terribly familiar with, all had been sent out for to blacksmiths dotted across Asulon, never requesting more than one part from each in an attempt to keep the overall project a secret

the arm:

it was an arm, nearly a perfect mirror of Henry of Skravia's remaining, its metal wires and sockets all hidden under a false skin, even hair had been added, which was in turn made of a strange supple material named roo-bar synthesized from the sap of jungle trees

the roo-bar was a wonderful material, better replicating a skinlike feel and appearance than the leather of his early models, but it had its own issues, having to stay within a certain temperature range to avoid its becoming too brittle or fluid

of course, thinking of the King, Iosanguin had included the ability to simply interchange this with a plain metal sleeve marked with the Helvaska coat of arms

it could function almost exactly as a normal arm, however it lacked some of the finer dexterity and control of a normal arm and to even use effectively would likely take weeks of practice and getting used to

Iosanguin wandered the town, visiting with some of the townspeople, seemingly in the process of moving out of their homes, he rather confused why such a fine town seemed to be in the middle of a teardown, but knew better than to question the motives of somebody who'd given him lodgings and feed for so long a period

finding Henry's home, knocked on the door with the king's new arm

(( I think you have to put a post in the "your ideas and lore" section before I can actually use the arm ))
