How old are you?: 28

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: GMT/ Sweden

Do you have a good grip on English grammar and the English language?: yes.

Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: I was an avid Roleplayer in countless servers, such as Storm's End, Sins of our Fathers, and Va'varon.

Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?:Yes.

How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: I was browsing RP servers, and, soon enough, became entralled in your server.

Link any previous applications you have made to the Lord of the Craft:

Have you posted this application on Minecraft Forum? If not, post it here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-asulon-o-f-f-i-c-i-a-l-l-y-t-h-e-n-o-1-r-p-s-e-r-v-e-r-100-unique-gameplay/page__st__1100

Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is when a player portrays a fictional character, through video games.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta gaming is when your character uses knowledge that was learned out of character. For example, if you learned in OOC chat the location of a city, this would be considered meta gaming because you did not learn this through RP.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:

Power gaming is when you deny another player's actions, or your character is overpowered and does unrealistic things. You perform actions before any other player can react. *Punches Bjorn in face* would be powergaming, because instead of saying *goes to punch Bjorn in face*, you will give "Bjorn" a chance to do something.

In-Character Details

Character Name: Arthur Fenix

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Twenty-one years ago, Brunmer Fenix, a woodsman, was walking through the Cloud Forest, humming a tune, when he thought he heard a baby crying. He followed the sound to the source - an infant, swaddled in cloths, left in the middle of the woods. Brunmer decided to keep the child, and named him Arthur.

Arthur was brought up in a cabin in the Cloud Forest, his adopted mother Sanala educating him about Asulon. Arthur learned how to survive from Brunmer, and picked up his adopted father's uncanny skill with an axe. By the time he was seven, Arthur could down a century-old oak with a few blows.

Arthur and his "parents" lived in happiness, the "wild boy" growing into a strong, handsome young man. On the eve of Arthur's twentieth birthday, Brunmer contracted an illness, and Sanala after him. Arthur nurtured to the man and woman that brought him up, but, after a few months, Brunmer and Sanala Fenix succumbed to the mysterious sickness.

After burying his parents in two crude, unmarked graves south of the Aquila Mountains, Arthur decided that the land had too much to offer than to spend his whole life in the Cloud Forest. With nothing but his axe, a deerskin bag, and the clothes on his back, Arthur set out to live life to it's fullest.

Arthur is handsome, with a jutting jaw, sharp green eyes, a shock of brown hair, and a big, tall, frame. He is seen as rowdy, and rough (usually after a drink or two), but he can be kind, and gentle. He typically wears a worn red shirt, and leather pants. He is rarely seen without his axe.

What are your characters ambitions?: To go on an epic adventure, with bards everywhere singing his tales.

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://imgur.com/Y6nHj

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He is very charming, and good at making friends.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

"Swords! Shields! Various arms, Dwarven trinkets! The lowest price in all of Asulon!", shouts the little man, with a nervous, uncertain voice.

As I walk by, I glance at his stall, wondering if the dwarf has anything I need.

"Young man, would you like this dagger? The blade is forged in the-"

"I'm fine without it, Dwarf.", I reply. "But here's some coin for your troubles."

With that, I drop a quartet of Minas on the dwarve's counter, and walk out of the store.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I hear the sound of struggle, and come over to see an Orc, lumbering over the poor Dwarf, chortling with delight. Not in a good mood as it is, I huff over to the situation, alerting the two men.

"Orc, I would suggest you get out of my sights, before I get angry.", I state, holding my axe in two hands.

The dwarf, eyes wide, backs up, and the stinking Orc grabs him by the collar, paying little attention to me.

"Orc!", my voice raised in a growl. "Last chance!"

The Orc turns to me, snorting. "Wha ye gon do, boi, ey? Do ye worst-"

Within an instant, my axe flies through the air, landing in the Orc's forearm. The blow cuts his arm half off. With a howl, the Orc pulls the axe out, dropping the dwarf, and stumbles away into the night. The dwarf, on the ground, begins to crawl backwards.

"Get out of here, little man." I say. "Go, git!" With that, the dwarf tramples away, tripping a few times. I pick up my bloodied axe, feeling little guilt for maiming the violent man. I continue on my way.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Seeing the old man fall, I instantly think of my father. I rush over to him, and make sure he is okay.

"Sir, let me help you."

I walk to a nearby tree, and swiftly snap a good-sized branch off of it. I help the old man to his feet, and give him the branch to lean on.

"There you are!"

"Bless your kind heart, adventurer!", the old man replies, and begins to hobble away.

As he leaves, I notice that the coins are still on the ground.

"Sir, you forgot this!", I shout, handing him the Minas. As he leaves, smiling, I continue on my way to Malinor.
